Pastry was o k. Muffin was kinda dry. Croissants seemed frozen and baked off. Not very friendly staff, felt like they were trying to get rid of us. Maybe they couldn't hear us because of the masks? Not sure. But hubby said coffee was really good! He's a coffee aficionado, so he knows. So thats great.

Was beyond thrilled to see so many gluten free options but turned out they weren't actually gluten free. I understand this is a bakery and that there is a chance of cross-contamination with the gluten-free items however I was told that there isn't any precaution taken at all, not even seperate mixing bowls or utensils and they are not remotely safe for Celiacs. Why not go the extra mile to try and make these items more gluten free? Everything looked so lovely I wish I could have only tried.

You have to talk about the pies when you talk The Bakery. They are cooked in glass pie plates and the pie weighs a ton. My sister-in-law does not generally like pie and she had seconds. Upon returning the pie plate (there is a deposit that you pay then get back) I had a very delicious cinnamon bun as well.

The bakery was and is always a nice change to meet a friend for a coffee and maybe a treat frim their menu. Things like cookies, muffins, banana bread, and much more. The staff are friendly abd very helpful. It is clean and have washrooms. It is on street level and easy for wheel chairs. Check it out!

Great for gluten free. Their pumpkin cranberry muffin is the best gluten free item I have ever tasted. Absolutely delicious. They have a variety of other GF items as well, including brownies a little turtle cheesecake, and a chocolate oat bar that I can personally recommend. They also have an excellent GF breakfast sandwich. The only thing I would wish for is a GF lunch sandwich. They have quite a few non-GF, but seemingly no GF. Overall, a wonderful bakery.

This place has friendly humans working the counter. They are efficient and have a good system to keep the flow going. They follow covid guidelines, tables are clearly marked as sanitized, people have the ability to sit indoors but socially distanced. Staff know the ingredients of the food and check to make sure if you have an allergy. There are these cranberry and something muffins here that are just so good. Also they make a nice matcha latte here. As a new sunshine coaster, I have to say, I really love this spot.

I can’t comment on the pastries/food, but the coffee (and service) were really subpar. The younger ‘barista’ plopped some excess foam on a coffee and called it a cappuccino. And then slid over the second coffee dripping all over the counter and cup and walked away.

I was so stoked to get 2 of the last 4 cinnamon rolls. I also got 2 Blueberry oatmeal muffins. The cinnamon rolls seemed like they may have been leftovers from the day before. The outer rings were dry and just not yummy. No soft sort of gooey center. The muffins were perfection. It was about 10 am on a Sunday morning so it wasn't like the end of the day. So will go for the muffins next time

I visited yesterday Oct 30th 2020. I was dismayed that the staff were not wearing masks - especially since our Chief Health Officer Dr Bonnie Henry has indicated that masks should be worn in all indoor spaces. Your staff work in close proximity to each other (not 2 metres apart). They should be looking out for each other. Besides they also deliver orders to clients at the tables. Also there was no marked Entrance and Exit to your Bakery. With such a cavalier attitude to COVID19 precautions I will not be back . A shame really - because I used to enjoy my occasional visits to your Bakery

We found this place while wandering around Sechelt, good selection even gluten free options, lots of cookies and squares, muffins other scrumptious pastries, warning the Carrot cake muffins are sinfully evil! Wow insane! A nice place to chill and enjoy your coffee or have a quick lunch by the main intersection of the town. Great place to stop while in Sechelt.

Love the vegan options here! vegan chocolate oat bar and dairy free milk alternatives! And holy are the vegan tofu peanut wraps to die for! I used to get 2 or 3 a week but unfortunately they recently changed it so that the tofu is breaded and doesn't taste as good. I haven't got one in a while after that. Please go back to the old recipe and I will come in 3/4 times a week for them heheh. Excellent staff and adorable store, love the atmosphere in there! Highly recommend.

Popped in quickly on the way to the ferry and very glad I did. One of the best Americanos I've had in a long time. Truly delicious! Scone was fine. Wish I had tried a muffin. Super convenient location too for those travellers looking to grab something a lot tastier en route to Vancouver.

Hot chocolate is very mild, minimal chocolate flavour. Cranberry scone is absolutely horrible. Dry, bland and coarse. And for $3.25. The breakfast wrap was surprisingly decent. Hot, flavourful, and hearty. 2/5. Would not visit again.

From the reviews I was hoping for good coffee. I went back to give a second chance but wish I hadn’t. I don’t understand why the milk is scolding! Burnt my tongue on first sip and doesn’t taste great once is cool enough anyway.

Good coffee and snacks, but unfortunately the barista's negative attitude towards customers waiting for their drinks really brought the rating down. She clearly was overwhelmed, but was taking her annoyance out on the wrong people. Changing up their system by writing names of customers that she could have called out may have helped the backlog of drinks on the counter/customers waiting outside due to COVID/and then coming back inside to ask her if their drink was on the counter as she snapped a cold and rude response at them.

Each day they have at least one vegan soup, which is what I usually eat there They have a couple of vegan goodies as well: Breakfast cookie and another chocolate item. The owner told me that they source all their vegan products ethically. They seem to be very busy at all times of the day. The women that work there are all very kind and helpful; they are always pleasant and attentive.
