This coffee shop smelled amazing when you walked in. The coffee is good (according to my boyfriend) but the matcha latte was lacking some flavor. They probably just needed to add more matcha. But the baking was awesome!! We had a biscotti and a chocolate cookie and they were both so good.

My very best regards to Regard Coffee for pouring a superb "cup of" this morning. Today was my second visit to their roasting location on Boban beside Smoking George. Such passionate people committed to roasting a quality bean to perfection. If you think Starbucks make good coffee then go home, leave these people in peace. If you want to drink coffee that is thoughtfully and knowledgeably roasted to achieve perfection, then go. Their roast is on the lighter side with softer subtle rounded flavours. But they can kick it up if you need more punch. This location is not their social~swirl~covo and caffeine location. For that, head to their Bowen Road location. This location is simple and austere. It's where they roast. So go for some education, a good latte, beans and the business of damn good coffee.

This is the best coffee you will get if you are going any further west than Nanaimo. Port Alberni, Ucluelet, Parksville, Coombs, and even Tofino don’t have as good of coffee, I’ve tried literally everywhere. I’m very serious about my light roast coffee. Courtney is the next best place to get coffee similar. I look forward to visiting here every year. I will drive from Port Alberni to Nanaimo just for the coffee here. Exceptional beans, bursting with flavour.

Good coffee shop with cool atmosphere. They don't use a barista blend of almond milk, just almond breeze which doesn't foam well, separates quickly and hasn't the best taste. I'd suggest getting a barista blend of either almond milk (Pacifica Barista edition) or oat milk (oatly barista).

The coffee is good; it's roasted in house and fresh ground for every poured over cup. It's much higher quality than I can really speak to, and the price was very reasonable. The decor is very modern, clean and minimal, and the space is nice and open. Friendly staff too, who are clearly passionate about a good cup of coffee.

I got a 'large' (really the size of a medium) latte. They do not carry any stevia or any other sweeteners. No problem, but when I finally got my latte, it was barely lukewarm. Over $5 and I got a small sized, lukewarm latte. I have NO idea why this place is getting 5 star reviews, (unless the owner is paying bot and review farm for the reviews). I think the only thing worse than the coffee is the incredibly passive aggressive responses from the owner to negative reviews on this site. The staff was nice though.

Very minimalist establishments. No signage on the front except for the windows. VERY GOOD coffee. The baristas are definitively pros and passionate about making good tasteful coffee. Cant believe we found this gem in Nanaimo. YOU GOTTA go there if you love coffee like us. We also had the almond cookies that they make in their other location and it was perfect amount of sweet. The tumeric cookie was my favourite. Will definitively go back when im back in town.

People kept telling me to try this coffee. And I was like whatever. Maybe some day. Today a buddy of mine took me here, and I was pretty underwhelmed by the place. Nothing really in it. Not even chairs or tables. Made some awkward small talk with the barista as they made my coffee. Took a sip, and I was just... shocked. I literally stopped walking after the first step. I’ve never had such good coffee. It’s like I’ve never even drank coffee before I came here. My god, I have been missing out by not coming here.

I've only visited The Met location. The barista was super helpful and friendly. Coffee was decent but a tad expensive for the sizes. I just wish Nanaimo coffee shops were more comfortable and inviting. One table and a hard wooden bench does not make for a great experience. Why can't business owners create a warm and cozy atmosphere in coffee shops here? It's rather disappointing ????.

Great to see a place like this in Nanaimo which replicates many of the places you would find further south in Victoria. Located in a land surrounded by Timmy Awfuls and Star Yuks this cafe is a shining light of what coffee should be, real milk, no skim, no sugar syrups and proper ratios of espresso to milk. Andrew is a fantastic guy happy to share in his love for coffee.
