Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Beautiful clean space. Coffee is always good here too. I'd have to say it's the best spot in Nanaimo, for either a cup of coffee or for a bag of their own beans. Definitely check it out if you have the opportunity. Side note: if ever in doubt of a local spot being closed, give them a call/connect with them before heading out. That's what I do.

Finally made it to the new north end Metral Drive location of Regard. I absolutely love the simple layout and elegant European inspired wood seating and counters built for the cafe. The coffee is roasted themselves and served with a high degree of knowledge and attention to detail to good coffee. All of this is accomplished while still being a relaxing inviting atmosphere. Well done Regard Coffee

Wowee if that wasn't the best coffee and cheesey breadstick I've ever had. Do I go back in and get more before I leave the parking lot? How do they make it so damn good? These are the questions you will ask yourself if you go to Regard. Pro tip, buy two cheese sticks, one will not be enough.

Lovely spot with the most friendly staff. Love their oat milk flat White. It has the perfect mix of milk and espresso. The espresso they use is very smooth flavor. I love all their treats too. I just had the peanut butter cookie and it was divine

We have come here a few times when we visit Nanaimo and, without a doubt, it is our favourite spot in town! The coffee is consistently delicious and is even roasted by Regard. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable; and the space is beautiful, modern and clean. Overall, this place stands out with some of our favourite Vancouver based cafes!

Original: At least update your hour of operation if your location is going to be off monday and Tuesday as we checked both google and your official website showing you are open everyday which is not true! I drove all the way there for nothing Update: To the owner: Don’t bother to apologize to customers due to your operation mistakes if you don’t mean it. There were other customers who came by the door and had same frustration. To other new customers: looking for good coffee ? Drip coffee is worth a try!
