Generally a good store. Except we avoid it now because of how cold the whole store is, it's like a fridge, lol. Which I'm sure is good for the food, but makes it so unpleasant to shop, I just want to leave. Avoid the bakery items as we got food poisoning both times we got something there - very old. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice..... Overall though, it's a nice store and good produce etc. Just wish they would lower the a/c then I'd spend more time in there.

This grocery store is constantly well stocked, has friendly helpful staff, and carries a good variety of produce and gluten free options. This is especially impressive as it is not a large store. The only negative I can think of is that they could sometimes have more cashiers manning the tills.

Very clean store...when they say 'Flagship store' they mean it! GREAT SIZED store...enough room to move around the isles and shop...without bumping into people. A lot of the same staff....which is a good thing in this case....because they are friendly, know their products and know their customers. COMPLAINTS: PARKING LOT IS A CRAMPED MESS TO PARK IN! I bought yogurt on sale and when I got home and put it in the fridge I saw it had expired a week previously. I took it back later in the day with the receipt and asked for a refund. They didn’t want to do it, and wanted me to exchange the product. I wasn’t going home to a fridge and had to ask again for a refund. 3 employees looked at the yogurt and was in awe that I had just bought it that day. Not one apologized and it seemed irritating that I was wanting my money back. Poor service. Check your dates on sale items!

Just came from another trip to my local neighborhood Quality Foods. I love y'all! An older Gent working in the meat dept sure made me smile today! In a time when people are anxious and stressed he was a breath of fresh air! Thank you meat man ???? Proceeded to the check out and purchased some air plants in the flower section that the kind lady who recognized me was so kind and wrapped up my little air plant people holders. She recognized me as well and inquired as to how things were for me right now. We had a lovely conversation. I'm grateful for you all. There are lots of parking spaces but everything is very tight. Lots of food and I believe it's all fairly priced (between Buy-Lows, Thrifties, Country Grocer, and here? I've seen the best prices here). This location has the typical Quality Foods aesthetic, with a store and lounge on the second floor. The lounge has food, comfortable seating, and i believe a large faux fireplace and TV. There is also an open balcony with seating and several meeting/conference rooms up there.

Nice enough store and department staff are helpful enough but I find the often smug cashiers to be a deterrent. Barely any acknowledgment of the customer at all as they ring your groceries in. They don't even look at you or say anything except for how much money you owe them. I will be shopping elsewhere where I feel like a VALUED customer. End rant.

No one masks or socially distances. We were in line up for chinese and there were two right behind us. Asked them to distance and they did but then the chinese food line called both groups up and they went back to standing under 2 feet away. If you are a small family or less this is a great place. Nice setup, great ready cooked section, and decent space overall. Don't forget pub up top. the covid flow is very counter productive as you are generally forced down every aisle which actually kills easy flow through store. For larger families though and for purchasing meat it is pretty poor. A family pack isn't 3-4 pork chops, when i am doing a ground meat prep I shouldn't need 8-10 packs of meat to get what I need done. Meat pricing is on the high side and beware of specials, the 5 for 25 often seems attractive but the chuck beef is at 17-19 a kg with ground being at approx 15. Sure you are saving a buck or two off of weighted measure but the price per kg tanks those savings.

JUST A FANTASTIC JOB ON THE CONSTRUCTION, and the layout of the store is perfect just what Harewood area residents needed.....the fresh daily cooked foods are bar none top notch the homemade burger patties are daily made and you could never find this quality at any fast food burger joint, I will never have a burger to go from fast food ever again QF is where ill be going......but the meatloaf WOOOOAH! PS.....WHERE SUNGLASSES AS THEIR LIGHTS ARE SUPER BRIGHT.....JK about the sunglasses unless you're one of those types of people that wears sunglasses indoors well then so be it look like a loser, but really it is super bright you can't miss a thing! HAPPY SHOPPING AND GORGING ON TASTY FOODIES!!!

Well Christmas rushes meant super long lineups especially factoring in social distancing, but the staff really pulled out all the stops to get people checked through, and managed to keep a smile on their faces. Hats off to a great front line bunch of superstars. Beautiful flagship store and great selection, prices in line with competition. A nice place to shop and if your partner gets cranky with how long you take or how much money you spend, just send them upstairs to THE BAR (I know, genius, right?) where they can chill with a bite and a beer while you stock the fridge.

I have never had a problem with this qf until tonight. I normally walk to the store and bring my backpack to carry my groceries home in. I've done this several times, but this time the man at the front entrance told me I wasn't allowed to bring my backpack in with me and had to leave it in the entrance way. I have valuables in my backpack and was quite uncomfortable with this. I did it anyway but couldn't even finish my shopping trip, I was so anxious about leaving me bag. I didn't get what I came for, and when I returned the man was on his phone not even watching my bag. I will not be returning to this store...

This store is very organized. The hot food section has a great selection to bail you out if you don't feel like cooking for the family. When getting Chinese food from the hot food. It took at least 30 minutes to get my expresso frappuccino and they needed to be reminded 3 times that I still had not got my drink. The food came out first and the quesadilla that my friends ordered for their daughter was soggy. Our food got cold way too quickly. I phoned first because some milk I had bought there had soured a week earlier than the expiry date. I have a new fridge, it wasn't my fridge-all the other food was fine. I asked when I phoned if I could return the milk without a receipt, I was told no problem. Went to the store, was told by another employee "just buy something of equal value" as I had got milk elsewhere. Bought a few things. Upon reaching the till, after waiting in line for a second time, was told by a third, red-haired teller "oh no, I have to buy the same item again" and was told to go back, get it and wait again. I have just had knee surgery, I'm walking with a very noticeable limp. After finally exchanging it, one of the items I paid for wasn't even put in my bag. Poor customer service.

I love the Q.F. in Hardwood it was done really nice, but I find it can get pricey if you go when there's no sale day happening. I try to go on Fridays when they have their five dollar daze...
