As of February 2019, I am upgrading my review and rating from 2 to 5 stars.???? ???? Decided to give this Panago location another try, based on reading some of their more recent reviews. Glad we did. We had switched over to MAMBO'S Gourmet Pizza for quite a while but after two recent incidents of long HAIRS found embedded in their crust, they are no longer a pizza option for us.???????? So gross!!! (I have reviewed Mambo's also, see my full review for all the details). Ordered 3 Panago veggie pizzas last night, all with thin crust. Veggie Mediterranean, Meat Free Pepperoni and Veggie Korma. All were REALLY good. ???? Plenty of toppings and cheeses, crust good, arrived hot and fresh tasting. Their new organic sauce is VERY good. I really appreciate organic ingredients. Extras asked for...napkins, paper plates were included. Coupons we had, had been applied. Arrived within the 40 minutes given and it was a very snowy night on the roads. Made sure to give the pleasant delivery driver a good tip!???? Also ordered a couple of their mini heart cheesecakes. Emphasis on the word MINI! Very small, but oh so chocolatey good.???? Would definitely order from them again, if this level of products and service continues. ................. My previous review from about a year ago, 2 stars. Last 2 pizza orders were NOT good. Tasteless, dry crust. Cheap on toppings and very little seasoning. I've eaten better pizza from the grocery frozen foods section and for a fraction of the price. Would not order from this Panago location again. ????

This is by far the best branch of panago. The pizza was outstanding, and the time to cook was so quick! The only thing hotter than a fresh cooked panago Pizza was the smile on the face of the really nice girl in the shop who took my order and cooked my pizza. Oh and she has awesome hair too.

Gotta say, we were die-hard pizza hut customers, but they have been lacking in service and quality so we tried Panago... What a difference!!! Lots of yummy toppings, the right amount of sauce and the crust was cooked to perfection, and not just once... Twice we have gotten the "Perfect Pizza" from this place. Your Manager would be proud, way to go Panago!!

My favorite pizza personally is steak and cheese, but I much prefer the one Dominos makes. specifically because I find the steak panago uses are very fatty and chewy Chunks. But thats just one pizza, Because most of the other pizzas at Panago are pretty good.

We always get the plant based pizza, a salad and a beverage when we feel like pizza. Most of the time we pick it up. The staff are friendly and the owner or manager is really great. One time our order was really late. No problem. It was a busy time. But we did get a follow up call from someone who apologised and made good on a future order.

Won't order from panago ever again. Pizzas are extremely undersized for the money. Panago used to be good. Zero stars if I could. I want a refund. I keep editing this review, because I'm utterly disappointed with the garbage being served from once reputable franchises. Don't take loyal customers for granted Panago. You'll go out of business sooner or later. **Update** given store credit. Franchisee called to make amends. Very nice fellow.

Wow for quality and service. I normally order from the competition as it is more bang for the buck but, because of the snowy roads my go to place wasn't offering delivery. I ordered from Panago twice this week and the pizza is hot as well as excellent. They got it too me very promptly and I'm talking impressively fast. The guy that delivered my pie today must have been driving the DeLorean from Back To The Future because I ordered my pizza at 2:01 and he got it to my door at 2:24. The physics don't add up, 23 minutes from bell to door? lol. Anyway, you guys down at Panago have impressed me and I'll be taking my pizza business your way for the foreseeable future, well done!!!

Great service recovery: First experience...Called with a specific order that was time sensitive and used a special promotion code. I was directed to a call center employee who said the promotion could not be honored and the store wasn't open at the time i needed the pizzas -- wrong on both counts. Went with a competitor whose service was amazing. Second experience...I reported the issue to the organization who shared the promotion code (not Panago) and within 24 hours i got a personal call from the owner of Panago and an employee sincerely apologizing and providing a credit for the pizzas i should have recieved when i originally tried to place the order -- a pretty large order. I wasn't expecting a response and did not report the issue directly to the company but was incredibly impressed with their desire to make things right. Will use this as an example of great service recovery in classes i teach.

The nanaimo owner is an excellent man, who understands that when a chain uses a call centre to take phone orders, that screw ups are guaranteed. And because he understands, if there is an error woth your order, you get more than reasonable compensation. As a brand as a whole, I would rather shop at any other pizza place, as there is actually a way to get in contact with the actual stores via phone.

The South Nanaimo Panago is the best! I've always had great service there and that store is so active in the community. The owner Slava donates pizza to PACs and offers great fundraising rates and also is always happy to help out with sporting events. For my sons hockey tournament he donated a ton of coupons AND is delivering pizza for the volunteers. He is super dependable and a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely recommend this location.

Pizza's not that great, often the cheese doesn't even meet the crust they're so cheap with it. Ordered pizzas with extra cheese tonight but they took so long to get delivered I just told them to keep it. I live less than 1km from the store and close to one hour later still no pizza when it was promised to be here in 35 minutes. The worst part is when they call you and say it's on it's way and then it still doesn't show up for more than 10 minutes when you're a 1 minute drive from the store. Credit for next time isn't acceptable. Not recommended. Order from a local pizzeria instead.

Their product is great, but service is unconscionable, from corporate customer care on down to the trainees and supervisors in store. The last time I ordered, I tried to use the website, which wasn't working properly. I got frustrated and ended up ordering through their customer care line, and received a $5 credit on that order because of my trouble. The next day, the owner of the franchise called me and apologized again, and promised me a further $10 off my next order with them, which I thought was great. So tonight I tried ordering from them again, except this time I phoned in my order. When i asked for the $10 credit i was told to call back. She then gave me my total which was wrong as I tried to get the same deal as last time, with 2 large pizzas and cheesy bread for $2 and the trainee on the phone didn't understand and charged me full price. So I asked to speak to a supervisor, given how complicated it was getting. I was put on hold and when she came back I was given the total with the deal applied but not the $10 credit. I asked to speak to a supervisor again, and was put on hold. The next time I was spoken to, it was by a customer care representative in a call center somewhere who told me that the only credit he could find was the $5 that was applied to my last order and another $5 that hadn't been applied yet. So I was unable to get the $10 credit promised me by the owner the last time I ordered, the customer care rep was rude and rushed me off the phone, the trainee was unsupported, and I never did end up speaking to a supervisor. I really like their food but it's too much hassle to order from them.

Rave to 4th street Panago! Pizza was late ( no big deal) not only did they call to say it would be longer than expected, they gave us a coupon for a FREE medium pizza upon arrival. I wasn't planning on complaining as these things happen, but I'm impressed they were apologetic and offered a discount on a future order without being prompted in any way to do so. Excellent business skills, the delivery person was friendly and polite and the pizza was hot and fresh ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

First visit. Got the Veggie Korma: Coconut curry sauce, baby spinach leaves, green peppers, pineapple, hot banana peppers, mozzarella + cheddar. Spectacular. The peppers work well with the curry sauce. Basically, a warm hug from within! The woman who took my order is lovely. Clean store. Fast turnaround. The guys in the back were hustling; imagine they had a lot of delivery and pick up orders. Lots of fresh toppings, flavourful crust. Great place, definitely returning! Great job, Panago.
