Had the almond pastry and it was spot on. Made a mess while eating it on my drive but it was great. Also got a multigrain loaf for home that was very fresh and flavourful. Near the ferry for a quick drop in. When I went in there were many in line but they managed the people two at a time. I'll be back for the doughnuts that looked awesome!

Delicious food, however the older lady was curt and rushed us. We were planning on picking out a few things but felt like we were a burden so opted for a simple order of two desserts and none to take home. The young staff is incredibly friendly. Edit: Visited again to use a gift certificate I got for Christmas and they refused it, asking me 'what they were supposed to do with it.' How should I know, I'm a customer? This was the older lady again, rude right off the bat even though the other staff was polite. I'll never bother with this place again, there are better bakeries with actual management who know what they're doing.

I'm addicted to this bakery's home made granola bars! Thick, crunchy, sweet and a bit gooey, what's not to love, especially when I get an "edge" piece. I also indulge in their macaroons, delicious, and their sausage rolls, which are excellent. I tried some of their egg rolls, which we really liked, and a different type of sausage roll, not sure if it was Thai, it was very good too. Only complaint is that they are so popular they run out of things before I get there. I do appreciate that they only make enough to last for a day or two so their stuff is always fresh. Have been treating myself to the occasional doughnut, which are wonderful and always fresh because they always sell out. Also tried an Apple Fritter and guess what, it actually had apple in it! (unlike others I have had elsewhere), and was fresh of course.

Can’t possibly go up or down the island without a stop at this bakery. Delicious pastries at very reasonable prices. The apple fritters are definitely the best on the island…often still warm from the oven!

Popped in here recently and immediately knew it was something special and put the biggest smile on my face. It was hard to pick just one item, so we walked out with 1/2 dozen donuts, a snail, strawberry turnover and a pizza pretzel. Everything was amazing. The donuts were so fluffy and fresh, the snail was flakey, turnover still so good the next morning and my daughter enjoyed the pretzel. It's one of those places that was nostalgic for me, not overly fancy and no pretentious sounding items, just classic baked goods and at such an affordable price. It is a must visit as I don't think you can go wrong with any of their delicious treats!!

So fresh and delicious!! Definitely coming back! My family enjoyed the chicken pot pie, the quiche needed more flavor but the crust was excellent. Also the chicken and sausage rolls were very yummy(sausage was the favorite). We returned at the end of our day for something to enjoy on the road. We loved the simple fresh sliced white bread (we ate with butter) and the brownie, lemon bar and cream filled donut were so very tasty, great flavors & texture, excellent portions and amazing prices! They were out of cinnamon rolls by 4:00 Friday, much to my sons disappointment, so we are definitely stopping here when we return in May. Thank you!!
