It’s unfortunate to leave a review based on a single employee but Theresa is always working the front and she clearly does not want to be there. Ignoring customers and going out of your way to make people feel unwelcome is a sign that it’s probably time to move on and find a new career. I wouldn’t be leaving this review if it was only one time but we come in here all the time and it’s a regular occurrence. I find myself going out of my way to not stop in here because her attitude is just so hostile and negative.

Surprisingly good and fresh choice for such a small community. A bit on the pricier side, but that's to be expected since they can't buy at the same scale the big box stores can buy at. Very friendly staff. If I lived in Cedar, this would undoubtedly be my store of choice.

No booze, this being good ole Canada, but there's a liquor store just a hop, skip and a jump to the left up the road. And there's a baseball diamond across the street. If you're lucky you might catch a game. ????????

Excellent flyer pricing ! In store pricing is comparable to other stores. Meat department is amazing ! This is the only store i will buy meat. The meat manager (can't remember name) may seem intimidating, but he is a friendly giant. Would be nice to see some renos though. The store hasn't changed much since it opened.

Old expensive produce, dairy has almost expired dates, have found expired dated produce for sale. Prices are extremely high. Shocking when you consider that you can drive 5 minutes further to the Country Grocer.

Been a regular customer over the years and great store and stock is pretty easy to access. Nice friendly staff. Just be careful in parking lot as there is some restrictions. Park below and all is good.

Who splits the chicken wings? Is it the store or island farms? Last two times they are not split properly and I have had only 1 wing and the little drum sticks have that extra piece of chicken on the end. I will not be buying my chicken wings from this store again. I've tried twice now.

This little grocery store has lots of Unique Bakery items. I'm always looking for different fresh baked goods that you don't find in every other store. Their honey glazed raisin bran muffins are huge and so delicious. They might even be glazed in brown sugar. I think they're my new favourite. It was nice to see that they had vegan meat choices also. The store is well-stocked and very clean. This was my first visit and I will not hesitate to go again. They even have a little sit-down Cafe area inside where you can order warm food and beverages

Today was the first time I ever used your home delivery service. I was so impressed with the efficiency and how easy it was to place an order. My order arrived with everything that I wanted. I really wasn't looking forward to shopping because of all the social distancing that is required. I find it stressful. Now, I will continue do use your delivery service and I THANK-YOU!

Just had to return 2 6pk of ensure because it had expired 9 months ago. Feedback from the store was so sorry everyone makes mistakes. Mistakes for 9 months, everyone should start checking those expiry dates before they leave the store. No complaint with the staff, they refunded with a smile. Reply to reply I'm glad you found no other, my understanding is they were removed when we called and informed them of the situation. Suggesting your tellers and clerks are your final checks for expired products, these staff are looking for eggs that could be cracked or damaged. The last thing they do is look for an overdue expired item. Personally I think you've missed the whole boat on this, 'nine months' they were on your shelves, I would have thought youd have checks and balances in place to prevent this type of mishap. You've not only but for the ensure company as well, I'm sure they would not be impressed. I'm not referring to items that are just over the expiry date, as mistakes do happen, it's the nine months they were on the shelf without being checked I would say is the bigger problem here.

just for your edification, lil man manager da jour: This order includes exemptions for: People with health conditions or with physical, cognitive, or mental impairments who cannot wear one People who cannot remove a mask on their own Children under the age of 12 People who need to remove their masks to communicate due to a hearing impairment Employers are not to ask members of the public for proof that an exemption applies to them. Right off the worksafe bc site you misquoted. I personally dont care that your grey haired employee was scared and chased me around your store and then dragged you along like her puppy. the law is the law. Secondly, its not private property as you stated, by virtue of the fact that its open to and deals withe public. re: your respose, no you dont. you odviously didnt read the above.

Usually a pretty quick stop. Never really waited in line more than 2 or 3 minutes. Lately (may2021) the butchers has been awful. I go to get meats and they are expiring that day, with no alternative to get one that will last. Other stores with the same exact brand and product are 4 or 5 days (normal). It has forced me to drive further to get all my groceries somewhere else. I don't understand the logic there, very out of touch decision making. EDIT Oct 2021. Seems to be better now. I have been back twice and meats have days before expiration.
