Had breakfast here. Fantastic eggs benny. Homemade brioche, smoked salmon. Order a croissant on the side, and more to go. Unbelievable croissants. You would have to go to France to get better ones I think...and then maybe not even then!

had breakfast. potatoes and eggs both were prepared with zero seasoning. it was like hospital food. Service was awkward. We were sat and waited 20 minutes for water. Pastries were great. Coffee was awful. Paid 3$ for an "espresso" that came out of an aitomatic machine that tasted like drip coffee. Chicken was dry and chewy, salad was mushy. My second time there. Both times there was an awkward vibe to the whole place and food really wasn't worthy of all the self-congratulatory pictures of the chef on the walls.

I go there for a quick meal about every week or two to satisfy my sweet tooth with the desserts. Love the freshness of the food and the selections. Might need a bit more parking space though, as it is sometimes hard to park your vehicle there on a busy Friday afternoon for example.

Excellent dinner to celebrate husband's birthday. Nice and cozy restaurant and the food is outstanding. Had a tasty charcuterie platter as a starter with unique samplers followed by the scallop fettuccine for the main meal. So delicious! We were too full for dessert so we bought several pasties to enjoy at home. All were amazing. I highly recommend Tony's for a nice meal and/or just dessert. I look forward to trying their breakfast menu which looks fantastic as well.

Excellent tasting food and pastries but quite a small place so there seems to always be a wait. Although it's worth it in my opinion, I feel it's not a good place to stop for a quick bite. A bit pricey as well, but given everything is made there nice & fresh, I don't mind the cost too much. However, I would recommend a bigger portion size of hashbrowns considering the price you pay for a breakfast. Potatoes aren't exactly pricey so I feel a much bigger portion to fill my plate would ensure I'm satisfied.

Location: As with all my reviews today.... this place is about 10 minutes away from the core, by car. Parking is available. The place: It's got a cottage-type feel. Quiet, casual. The goods: The breakfast menu is kind of limited so I went with the quiche for breakfast, and coffee. The coffee was OK but nothing to write home about. The quiche was really good and the slice was pretty big. I'm drawing a blank on whether or not there were potatoes with this... but I do remember the bacon - that was good. We didn't have any pastries since we were full after our breakfast. Service: OK Price point: About $20.

Simple common courtesy should tell people they could get up and leave once they are done eating, to make room for hungry ppl who have been waiting, seems society lacks this nowadays.

This was the best cake I have ever had in my life.. A single piece was $7, and I was hesitant, is it really worth that price? But I decided to get it and find out. When I shared it with my husband, his response was, "This isn't a $7 cake... it's a $10 cake!!" Absolutely delicious. And I got a tiny gingerbread man with my hot chocolate! :)

I can't wait to go back. Tony's is an elegant bakery/restaurant. The ambiance is romantic and relaxed. The staff who looked after us were pleasant and attentive. I chose the Garlic Harlot with Caesar salad for dinner. This burger is in the top three burgers I've ever eaten. The bun, made in house, framed the Patti and toppings perfectly.

Tons of fresh baked pastries and great selection of entrees. The only downside to this place is that there was quite a long wait at lunch when we went (Thursday shortly after 12). Guess it’s just a sign of a great spot because we really enjoyed it once we were sat and eating. Hard not to want to stay for dessert or take something to go. Can’t wait to go back.

Had a wonderful supper here this evening with some friends. Called to make reservations and asked for them to put us in a quiet spot they definitely delivered. Are waitress was lovely went above and beyond and we were really impressed by the nice menu. The cocktail menu was really well designed as well. I tried the vodka lemonade and the Jack Rose I would definitely recommend the Jack roast anyone who truly likes cocktails that are curated. Food was great as well!

Went with a friend for the first time and what a beautiful little gem of a place. Beautiful setting, staff was just wonderful, and the food was amazing! They where so careful with my gluten allergy, they had some great gluten free bread, the Gouda burger I am still dreaming of! If you don't have a gluten allergy please go eat one of every desert in the display case it was all so mouth watering and beautiful. Oh also the coffee was also just perfect. Thank you for making my first time there so memorable, I can't wait to take my hubby here for a date!

Enjoyed a delicious lunch with my daughter at Tony's the other day. She had the veggie burger with broccoli cheese soup. I had the club house sandwich on a croissant with cheddar broccoli soup. She was craving the veggie burger there which she said is the best she has had. The club house croissant was the best I've ever had. Big pieces of sliced chicken, thick, flavourful bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo in a melt in your mouth croissant. The soup was true comfort food. Whatever you choose at Tony's, you can't go wrong

This is hands down my favorite restaurant in greater Moncton. The food is always consistently fresh, delicious and interesting. Prices are very reasonable for the quality! The servers are attentive and friendly. I've never once had a bad experience. I really love the new renovation they recently did - very classy and spacious. I first met Tony at the market downtown. A friend got me hooked on his chocolate tarts. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for something sweet. The desserts here are so delicious! I have heard the chocolate tarts sell out really quick but the Royale is very close to heaven. I also got the Dome which is similar to the Royale. The other item was I believe a Salted Caramel Cheesecake and it was amazing. Finally the Profiterole, which is a pastry filled with chocolate mousse and was topped with what I think was marshmallow. I love these and they didn't disappoint. I'm sure the regular food he serves is just as tasty as his desserts.

My second time but brought my husband for the first time and we were definitely not disappointed. Service was great. Food was delicious. I had the beef and it melted in your mouth. No steak knife necessary. My husband had the scallop fettuccine and it was out of this world. Definitely not your typical boring fettuccine. Homemade pasta that tasted like it was cooked in the scallop water. We didn’t have dessert but we picked out some pastries to take home for later. We will be going back for sure.

Went here for mother's day brunch. It got really busy by the time we left. If you're planning on visiting on a holiday, you should try to arrive by 9 am if you want to be seated promptly. I tried the breakfast pizza and would see definitely recommend it. The quiche is also excellent.

This place is legendary. Pastries are their specialty, but the sit down menu is equally amazing. Breakfast, lunch, supper, whatever you want. They have recently renovated, adding extra space, and it looks beautiful. It is licensed, and the staff is super friendly. This is a must on your "where to eat in Moncton".

From the almond croissant to the eggs benedict to the duck and everything in between - I've tried a lot of things in the restaurant and from the bakery that have been magically scrumptious. The staff are efficient and friendly, and the space is charming. I love that they change flavours according to the season and what's freshest, too. It is a good idea to eat here!

I ordered a chicken pie and the overall experience was below what I had become accustomed to in this restaurant. The filling wasn't as tasty as usual and the meal was served lukewarm. I travel from Halifax to visit Tony's every three months (more often if I can!) Everything created by Tony's is always AMAZING. I have not tasted anything that I have not become an INSTANT fan of. MUST TRY; Tony's chocolate croissant otherwise known as "pain au chocolate". I've tried pretty much every bakery in Halifax to see if I can find a croissant that compares, but no croissant is as flaky and buttery as Tony's!! The staff are all amazingly friendly, always served quickly and efficiently. And most staff are able to help with product recommendations. Tony's is my favourite bakery in the world! So glad I found it :)

I was in heaven when I walked into this place. The confections that the team comes up with are absolutely amazing and worth every single penny. While they may seem a bit expensive, when you taste and realize that only the finest ingredients go into their creations, you will be surprised that they aren't charging more! The tiramisu was wonderful and had such a perfect balance of sweet and espresso. The chocolate dome conceals the creamiest chocolate mousse. If you need a gluten free option, the macaroons are the perfect go to snack. They also offer a few other options as well. I haven't had lunch there yet but will certainly be stopping in next time we are in Moncton.

Not much choice in terms of the menu, so my boyfriend and I decided to get some dessert instead. Not a great place for someone with nut allergies. Everything either had nuts in it or was placed so close together that contamination was inevitable. Having gluten free options is great, but if they were really so concerned about allergies, they would have separated their gluten free and nut free options from their other fare.

My wife and I went to Tony's for lunch on May 26th, 2017. We had placed both the same order. We received the wrong order that was sent back. The second round came, I got the proper and my wife got back the same order for which she had it sent back. The second waitress was very apologetic and told us twice that we would be compensated for this misunderstanding. The lady sitting next to our table overheard the whole conversation going. My wife was a little disappointed for what had happened. We went to pay for the meal and we told the cashier to let her boss know that we were very unhappy with the outcome. The owner of the bistro came and spoke with us and my wife told him what had happen, he just looked at her and told her that he lost 3 sandwiches because of this misunderstanding. He said that the waitress confirmed the second order and that she , my wife, said yes to that order. Why would my wife return the first order and confirm the second order for the same meal that she returned the first time. It is with my understanding that the owner was calling my wife a liar and turned and walked away from us. Then this lovely lady sitting next to us told us that she spoke to the first waitress and told her that she overheard her saying that we would be compensated. Then, my wife told the owner and then said do you have your bill and I will compensate you. He came back with 6$ and said and I quote " you told the cashier that you would not be coming back here again then you don't have to come back. At that time, I felt like he needed this 6$ dollars more then me. He, for an owner of the establishment, was not there for the customer but only for the money. He was not apologetic at all. If the waitresses would write down the orders properly, this would have never happened. After this experience, I will definitely not b going there again.

Went out for dinner, and we thought we would try this place due to recommendations from our friends. When our hostess greeted us, stated she would get our table ready. From observation, she casually chatted to her co-worker, then wiped a table, then chatted to her co worker again, leaving us at the entrance. When seated, tried to place us in an area where sunlight was directly in our eyes, when other areas were available in the establishment, as they were not busy. I politely asked to be seated in another area due to that condition, in which we were invited to choose another spot and then she left; leaving us to carry our cutlery and menus to another table. Once we made ourself comfortable, we looked at the menu and I could not read the menu as I do not speak French (neither me or my date have a french accent or conversed in French and we were given 1 french one English menu when English were available) In a casual way, our waitress came over asked if we were ready order, we stated we needed a few moments to decide as we were sharing a menu to understand what we would order. Without grabbing another menu for us, went to the table beside us (party of four) and discussed drink and food specials and house recommendations, none of which were expressed to us. The waitress walked by us without acknowledging us shortly after. After this we simply left. Unfortunately, were never going back, which is a shame as we heard there food is lovely but this sort of service is unacceptable

Tony's surpassed my expectations, despite being constantly told that this is the best restaurant in Moncton. One word: DELICIOUS! The croissants are the best I've ever tasted, and the desserts are amazing. The prices are a bit steep, but you're paying for a quality meal that will leave you feeling full without that aching stomach from eating processed foods. Highly recommend Tony's to anyone! I'm very picky and I LOVED it.

Some of the best pastries I have tasted in a long time. While they were expensive ($5.00 to $6.00+ each Canadian), the old saying "You get what you pay for" applies here. The sweets were worth every penny. They also have a full restaurant with indoor/ outdoor seating available and a full menu with drinks as well, although I just went to the counter to purchase the pastries I was interested in and skipped the dine in experience. (Think the Cheesecake Factory cheescake counter, but this place had a little bit of everything.)

Yummy crème brûlée. Good quality. Made with real vanilla beans. Their soup was homemade and healthy. I wish that they had more creamy selections of cake such as strawberry shortcake or simple cheesecake.

What a charming place. I've heard of Tony's and eaten some of their sweets before actually coming in myself. Yummy. For lunch I had the quiche with a garden salad before venturing over to their bakery section. I will definately be back again. Nice to know it's not just a fabulous bakery.

Tony's Bistro is the best food and pastries in Town.Everythink is from scratch. Drop in and try all the pastries. The soups are amazing and the Chickenpotpie is the best I ever eat.
