First the parking is kind of awkward. Then the staff I met did not seem to like their jobs or the customers they serve. Finally the place was not necessarily crowded but with so many people by themselves with a laptop it doesn't take much time before you run out of available tables. It could have been an exception that evening because the Starbucks down the street closed earlier than usual.

Berating young people in front of customers at the counter is disrespectful and rude. I feel bad for the young people trying to make some money while their employer treats them like garbage. If you're ever at Parkwood Mall in PG, and you're tired of Starbucks or whatever coffee you usually drink, stop in at Second Cup. They have the usual stuff you find at Starbucks, such as specialty coffees and snacks, but they also have sandwiches and soup, if you so desire. The seating area is large enough and there is a high top table with stools available for all the laptop users, complete with outlets to plug in.

The debit/credit machine was down but there was no indication of this before entering the drive thru line, so I waited 10 minutes before I seen the small sign on the menu, and then waited another 15 minutes to get out of the line because I did not have cash on me, literally wasted 25 minutes for absolutely nothing. It’s not the servers fault and yet there was no response or compassion of any sort when I recommended putting a sign up before entering the actual drive thru line… why did it even take 25 minutes of waiting for anyone to get there order? will not return to second cup ever…

The rewards program changed (changes from the head office) on 21/04. Went there 2 weeks ago and bought 4 drinks, used my punch cards. I had 3 free drinks at the time, but told staff I wanted to keep them. No one informed us that the rewards program was changing soon. Went today and tried to use a card for a free drink - they told us they did not honor those anymore under strict direction from the owners. If I had known, I would have used my 3 free drinks last time. While I understand the rewards program is changing (which by the way will take twice the amount of coffees to get a free one), it would just have been common sense and good customer service to honor the cards that were already started.I went to another Second Cup location in the same city (different owner/manager) and used their card. While they couldn't punch it anymore (there were 2 punches on there already), they gave us 1$ off of our coffee which was appreciated. The amount of money is minimal, it's just the principle. Apparently Second Cup on Gorge Road does not care about their loyal customers. Fortunately, there are plenty of coffee chains/shops around Moncton

It is a great location, with helpful staff, and plenty of seating. A great reason to come this location over others is the large amount of plugs which make sure that you can always keep your devices charged. The only downside is it is often busy which is typical for good locations.

Today early this morning I had a very unfortunate experience with Jade herself. As well, her female employee was present to see first hand how Not to treat a paying customer For the last few mths I have been visiting Champlain Mall Second Cup as well as the Second Cup on Mountain Roud. My signature Drink..a small cup,Tall Long shot, Latte Lac free, x-hot, 1 pump of vanilla free.. when I first visited this establishment my Signature drink was 4 something in change..as the visit contunued at Second Cup at Both locations my price for my Signature drink changed.. I was patient as I worked in a Signature Coffee shop in Vancouver BC - Blenz. understand it take a a few tries before you have a signature Drink down packed.. however after the fifth visit you should have a small clue on what the drinks cost and how it's made some.. Jade shared with me today that she was charging the wrong price beforehand and today I had to start paying the correct price. I'm confused as now I have to pay almost 6$ for my Signature drink.. thank God all this conversation was recorded on her instore video as the behaviour she expressed is completely un- orthadoxed for an Adult business owner. I shared with Jade unfortunately for the last few mths at this location as well as the one in Champlain Mall my price has always been 4.89 plus I tip.. as I keep my reciets for work purposes Jade shared that she will no longer provide service at this location or Champlain Mall and asked me to leave.. OMG was what was going through my mind.. did this really just happen over a coffee because you were unsure how to handle this situation with a paying customer. Very disappoint nevertheless I'll be Blogging this incident to all my blogging friends/ FB / as well as many sites were Second Cup Co promotes themselves I shall be contacting Second Cup Co franchise to share my concerns. As this is unacceptable behaviour.. I take Great Pride in my Canadian culture. Always tend to spend were Canadian companies are to keep then thriving and alive. this has left a terrible taste, pardon the pun in my mouth.. This being said and done I shimmed off to Starbucks were they shared Absolutely we can make this drink.. key words.. it's Your Signature Drink.. I might add my Small cup, Tall Long shot, Latte Lac Free, x-Hot, 1 pump of sugar free vanilla was amazing .. i will be back, bring all my modelling/ entertainment business partners with me.. K

I went on a Sunday morning. I don't know if they were understaffed, but there were only two people working, one of whom was newer and the other who was a total control freak. The control freak wouldn't let the other person do anything, so it took at least 10 minutes, probably closer to 15 minutes to get a simple americano despite there not being a tremendously long line. When I finally did get it, it was honestly the most burnt espresso I have ever had. All I could taste was ash. I took half a sip and it went straight into the trash. I may as well have just taken $3.50 and thrown it into the garbage. It would have had the same effect and saved me from wasting 15 minutes and then drinking ashes. There was no point in asking for it to be remade as the control freak clearly didn't know how to pull a shot and wouldn't let the other person even try.

I once had a memory of College when I first learned what a regular coffee was. Being a whippersnapper Canadian, I thought the double double was the regular. Boy I was wrong. Nowadays I'm a 1 cream no sugar or plain black, and I've learned what decent cup of coffee feels like. Not just the taste, but the feel of drinking it. I like the feel of Second Cup. The tea is pretty great too. Avoid the baked goods most of the time, and get what you actually want - the drinks.

Great coffee. Customer service is one of the worst I've encountered. Most times that I am here and the owner is working she is making things worse than better for the workers. This morning I watched her argue with a customer (who was in the right) about being overcharged on a previous visit. The owner kept rolling her eyes and telling the customer she "didn't have time to deal with this" and "not to worry about it". The owner said "just pay for this order so I can serve the rest of the people in line."

Prince George Second Cup will always have a special place in my heart. The atmosphere in this coffee shop is always a pleasant one. Second cup has great drink options for anyone from kids to adults, coffee, tea, hot chocolates, and an array of cold drinks. If you've never tried one ask them about their Italian sodas. My experience at Second cup was amazing! I was served a vanilla bean frappe by an awesome young man named Quinn who took care to make it the most glorious frappe I've ever had. If you've never had it, you're not doing yourself any favors; that drink is very good. If this kid isn't making at least $20/hr I know no greater injustice.

Try the other location in town! They actually care. Will be reporting this location to the health inspector. Do not eat here. Every single order is wrong, every time. Today I ordered via skip after 6 months of avoiding it, hoping for some changes and to support a local owner. They used the old cup to hold their stir sticks, to make my drink, and left an old stir stick inside (there was also one on top of my drink). The cup was so old from being used the bottom fell out right after I poured the leaky thing into a mug at home. They do not listen, they are not attentive to hygiene, they simply do not care. There are much better places for coffee here and this place does not deserve to be open.

The few times that I have come here, the staff were extremely rude. The first time was a few months ago, and the two staff members that were working were at the pickup counter talking with a group of their friends. They looked at me and didn’t even acknowledge me, I stood at the order counter for about 2 minutes before leaving because it was clear they had no interest in working. The second time, the female employee told me that my drink would take a bit longer to make and asked if i still wanted it. I told her i didn’t mind the wait at all, and she sighed and rolled her eyes at me and didn’t say anything else, even after i said thank you. The only person i’ve had be friendly towards me was one of the male staff. The rest are rude. I’d much rather go to Starbucks up the road where there’s a welcoming environment, and staff go out of there way to be friendly and create conversation.

Terrible service!!! I ordered a coffee and a frappe and while I was waiting for my order, I was stuck listening to the worker and her friend gossiping. After waiting over 5 minutes, I had to ask the worker if the 2 coffees on the counter were mine, as there was no frappe. She seemed very annoyed that I interrupted her conversation and said yes. When I told her that was not what I ordered, she just said sorry and continued on with her conversation. She never even asked me what it was that I had ordered. I just walked out and the door that labels "Exit" was locked. I had to leave from the door that said "No exit". Again, no acknowledgement from any staff member. I will definitely not be going again.
