This Bakery corresponds to the category of Farmers' market.
So many different types of food, very good prices! Fresh meats and veggies too. Also some cool crafts and jewellery.
I've been eating breakfast there every Saturday for the last 2+ decades ... it's worth your time and you're supporting local businesses.
Amazing food and people so kind
Loved the food. It was awesome
It's a good little city market, but the higher prices and loads of unhealthy greasy foods reflect its size and it resembles more of Fairground fare then Market Fare. If you're a meat eater it will have an endless supply of foods for you. Still has a way to go to become a big city market.
Make sure to bring plenty of cash. Everything is expensive and they only have one ATM working which is located at the exit (due to the Covid19 restrictions, only one entry, and walk through in a zig zag one direction only through the market). And you might want to wear a mask because half of the vendors are not.
Best place to go to get good flank steak and fresh veggies.
Wonderful local food vendors and fantastic flavors! Horrible parking though
A Saturday gathering place in downtown Moncton. This tradional market is alive with colour, smells, music and cheerful chatter. Lots of hot/cold meal options, baking, meat, produce, cheese and coffee, as well as all forms of crafts and talent. The vendors are friendly, interesting and talkative The market changes with the seasons. Walk straight through in a half hour, or stay for hours and enjoy the whole experience of the market and downtown Moncton.
Love all variety of cultures being offered to you under 1 ruff. You can get more then moved, craftsmanship, soaps, jewelry. Food alone is delicious.
Loved it. Once a week market. If you are coming to Moncton from outside of New Brunswick, must visit the place. A lot of local business and start up. A verity of local food including mexican foods, korean foods, indian food, and sweets. Some of the real good juice and smoothie makers. The highlights of the visit were some of the stone and crafting guys, who collected various stones from different part of canada and craved them according to their skills. They have had some good rings, showpieces, and bracelets.
Love the local farmer's market. Great place for lunch.
Amazing!!!! Fresh veggies and fruit from local farmers,Crafts, jewelry, fresh juices, organic Teas, noodles, sweets, fish cakes, breakfast, music, organic skin care, and so much more! Come early for best selection!
I love the Moncton Market. The vendors are friendly , everything is " fresh" . You can find almost every thing you need for your weekly groceries. I highly recommend it... Enjoy.
cute and cozy... lemonade truck was delicious... coffee and snakes were delicious and everyone was so friendly
Great place to get fresh local produce and meats and anything homemade. Wonderfully reasonable in price and always a pleasure talking to the locals about the wares.
So glad Moncton has a market. It's one of the only places in Moncton that you can be sure you're getting local goods. So many sweet people to support by buying their veggies, baked goods, crafts, specialty drinks, cheeses, and a good variety of others. I hope someday it can expand and a bigger variety of locals can sell their goods. A must stop location for locals and tourists alike!
Went in at 1:25pm and there were hardly any vendors left...they are supposed to be open until 2pm. I work in a retail store and we are not aloud to close up shop early...was disappointed
Lots of local stuff to buy and explore. The local beef jerky I got was delicious.
The waffles are to die for. Full size Belgian waffle topped with 6 fruits, whipped cream from scratch, graham cracker crumbs and raspberry sauce. I'm full until supper time. I look forward to my Saturday morning breakfast. The sticky buns …
Great selection and prices. Parking is easy as well.
Its a place too visit so much the people and the stuff that is for sale are fresh and delicious and the price are really good
Very good market had fish cakes here were delish
Nice atmosphere. Lively place. Lots of homemade things to discover. Great food selection. Everything is way overpriced.
Really nice place. We like to come here on Saturday's mornings.
You must go to the market. If not to buy a fat pig, at least to try one of Walton's Bakery cinnamon buns. Not to mention the whole host of other food stalls to try! I'm not much of an artsy craftsy kind of person but they've got lots of that as well.
Full of culture and hard work. you can really feel good about buying something here. There is also great winter apparel that is hand made and keeps you very warm. I went to Rhonda's Knitting and she tailored everything to my needs. Would defiantly recommend meeting with her !
A good place to buy fresh vegetables and also some very interesting stuff.
I used to work here as a child with my grandparents. It was nice to do back and explore. We try to make out trips around a Saturday to attend.
Fantastic place full of good vendors :) However the Greek place inside appears to have a toxic management. Was there last week when he visiably became angry and harrassed an employee for putting the lids on the condiments "to early".
Lots of fresh food, produce and other fun stuff. Live music was very good too. Grwat way to spend a weekend morning.
Picked up some great local food. Nice people, fair prices and quality goods. We killed a couple of hours on a rainy day easily.
Amazing local vendors and fantastic food - It's a Saturday must!
So many great vendors.
i mostly go for brunch, and bring home a few items for supper or weekday lunches. better food than any fast food restaurant and worth mentioning that the best coffee in town, Downeast Coffee, is represented with not one, but two booths. very congested traffic during fall, winter and spring. more enjoyable during the summer where people spill outside to eat, chat and with occasional live music and cultural events.
Love the market! The cheese ladies are the best and always have such great knowledge on new cheeses. Great locally formed eggs. Wildcat jerky is the best! Nick the Dutch Baker has the best cookies. Love NorthMaille and their beautiful chainmail jewelry. And red earth kitchen has the best desserts and salads. I could go on, but there's so much to discover! Only thing that I would change, I would have it go 2 days, not just on Saturdays.
A nice variety of foods and vendors and a Nice, easygoing energy every time I go.
It's a farmers market... not sure what to review really. I could eat like 800 hot donuts from here ????????♂️
Its fun and a hotspot on Saturday mornings so there's usually a bit of a crowd. It has fresh food stalls, craft stalls, and different types of food from breakfast to international. An all around good time
Lots of vendors and lots of food stalls. Cinnamon rolls as big as your head! A variety of products for sale and certainly a place to go if you need a unique gift for someone. During the summer there is often live music and outside vendors. Lots of parking in the lot across the street. It's free parking on the weekends.
Crowded but fun to visit. Variety plus. Costs are a little over the top for a farmers market but food is fresh and goods are homemade
Loved it. We had a great time chatting with the vendors, who are all very friendly. There's a great selection of goods and the prices are excellent too. We'll definitely be back again.
Great place for a walk on Saturday all the stalls are open and food is really good, you will find something new everytime you visit the Moncton market
Have been going to market from a young age and now taking my children hear to admire crafts and work from other locals from around the city. Also food is a great option here! Great way to spend a Saturday morning solo or with your friends and family.
Always a great time everytime I go. Very clean and covid safe
Love coming here every week! Lots of variety in vendors. Only complaint is that it is a bit cramped during busy time and finding a seat can be difficult. With the nicer weather coming best to sit outside!
They did an excellent job regarding covid protocol. It's impossible to remain 2 metres apart at all times there, but there was a good flow of people. However I often had to move away from people, because of the tight space and some people just don't understand to not stand next to someone. There were quite a few vendors there as well. If one is going to pick up something specific I would recommend, if possible, to arrange with a vendor to have it ready. Definitely not a place to go if one is really nervous of being relatively close to people, even if only briefly.
Great atmosphere. Love the Kettle Corn (its a must). Lots of space and different vendors.
Great place to walk around and take in the sights. Great food vendors! I only wish it was bigger.
Love the Moncton Market. Boyle's family farm had great meat to choose from. You can do a small grocery here and support local business'
Great food, amazing local talent's selling their craft. Fun way to get out and spend your Saturday morning. The few restaurants that are open during the week are delicious and very convenient for a quick lunch option
Lots of things in there Great food different things to try .was alot of fun having time to look around
A great place for local produce, meats and crafts. Go there without eating breakfast as there is lots to choose from!
Wide variety, good pricing, nice back stories with friendly people to tell them. Bought these meat items fresh.
Always great to get fresh, local food. A bit pricey but no matter what you get here it's always amazing
This is a cute place to visit! We were in a rush.. so longer visit next weekend.
1st time during covid. So appreciate the security, entrance, exit, clear directions and social distancing ❤...not so much at the Diepoe market????.
- More of a trinket market than a farmers' market. It felt like there were more options to buy New Age healing products such аs magnets and crystals than to buy local produce or meat. Half food court, half garage sale. - We went during a busy period on the weekend, but it was very crowded and people were eating inside - not COVID-safe at all. - They could really use better facilities with a better layout, some sunshine, some public space. It's a prime location downtown near the waterfront and it's a major missed opportunity to create urban public space.
Love checking out the Moncton market! It's unfortunate that they have had to cut back the number of vendors due to covid restrictions but would absolutely recommend if you're looking for quality products and great food! Veena's Kitchen has some of the best authentic Indian food I've ever had, a great value for your money and always very friendly service! (Not to mention amazing vegan options) we grabbed our food to go and can't wait to have it again!
As always, there was a great energy at the market. There is a large number of vendors there, with a wide variety of cuisines available. I really enjoy going there whenever I am in the Maritimes. Give it a try!
