Had the most amazing experience at Sweet Philosophy. I found Patricia on IG and contacted her about creating take-away treats for my baby shower. She prompting set up a meeting time for us, showed me my options, worked within my budget and most importantly provided taste testing!!! The mini donuts she made were a huge hit at my shower. She made enough for my guests to try them, and take some home! Sweet Philosophy helped make my celebration extra special.

The worst macarons I've ever had. There was no flavor in them what so ever. Picked up a pack of 7: lemon, raspberry, blood orange, chocolate, pistachio, Ferraro Rocher and salted caramel. The "biscuit" parts were hard as rocks. The fillings were BLAND. they all tastes of pure butter. So basically either than by looking at them you couldn't distinguish the "flavors." So disappointing and literally painful to eat. Don't go here for macarons. Wait for Laduree to open up at Yorkdale by years end and truly taste what a macaron tastes like.

I have had the floral box and the party of 6 cupcakes, equally great in taste and presentation. If you don't like it your icing too sweet, this is perfect. It's is even a great gift to uber surprise anyone because of the way they pack (trust sometimes its too pretty to eat haha) and dont worry, it looks just like the pictures they have online.

I used Sweet Philosophy for desserts at my Bridal Shower as well as a cake for my Wedding. For my bridal shower we had cake pops, rice krispies and macarons that were a huge hit will all of our guests. They were beautifully decorated with gold and pink accents and were all so delicious! For our wedding we had a 3 tier cake that was a work of art, beautifully hand painted with flowers and silver leaf, and it was delicious! We got so many compliments from our friends and family and I will definitely be using Sweet Philosophy again for future events and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Absolutely beautiful & yummy cupcakes! I normally take off half the icing on cupcakes because they tend to be too sweet. Not the case here - the icing actually tastes very light and delicious. Will definately be coming again !

We ordered a cake from here for my baby shower back in June. The cake did not taste good, it was not fresh at all, and was quite dry. She charged $300 for the cake, and was messaging my sister the day before confirming design (when we had reviewed the design about 2 weeks prior, in person). On top of it all, at the day of pick up, she did not even add the drizzle that we had specified. We had also asked for 4 animals on top of the cake, and she only gave us 3. When we informed them of these errors, they did not offer any reimbursement, but instead told us to come get some free macarons ? I will never order anything from here again, nor would I recommend them to anyone. It is a huge rip of, you can get much better baked goods for that price at many bakeries around the GTA. Very disappointing quality and service.

Pretty bummed with my last order through uber eats. I ordered their cake sundaes (chocolate and strawberry) expecting soft cake layered with fluffy buttercream. Instead it was a rock hard semi-frozen dessert delivered to me :( If I wanted the sub-par frozen cake would have bought it from the frozen section of a grocery store, why pay extra for a fresh bakery. They should update their website description to frozen/thawed desserts. If you are looking for a fresh dessert this is not the place.

We ordered custom birthday cupcakes from Sweet Philosophy and were not disappointed. The customer service & quality was excellent. They were decorated exquisitely and tasted delicious. I can tell quality ingredients are used. Usually when i serve cupcakes at kids parties only half gets eaten. Not this time. The kids said the icing tastes like “ silk, creamy and real”.

If you order through Uber Eats you get frozen cupcakes. Icing was hard & cake a bit dry. Freshness is everything when it comes to baked goods. I might give them another try, because the cupcake flavors were nice, maybe going in person is better.

Must have more staff on duty one that is taking care of any bookings. I inquired about treats and emailed several times with no answer. Now my event is this weekend and I went somewhere else where they took my business seriously. Make sure you book far in advance if you want any kind of service

Thanks for your Uber delivery today. While I cannot comment on the taste (I've read some reviews), the packaging was beautiful and the special note was also appreciated. All very beautiful to look at! Hopefully the recipient says they are yummy too!!!!

I love cupcakes and have been to numerous bakeries that sell gourmet cupcakes. There's something that draws me in to the design they put on these pricey cupcakes. The place looks chic. Pink walls on the outside and a typical bakery on the inside. It wasn't busy at all as I came during the weekday around 4pm. Door was locked and had to knock a few times for us to be let in. $24 for 6 little cupcakes. I only ate half of one and it was a bit dry for my liking. The people I shared it with liked it however. Guess I have higher expectations. Also, it didn't taste fresh so the cake wasn't moist and was rather a bit hard.

I’ve ordered several times, the cakes aren’t great, very basic no flavours and either super sweet or bland buttercream. I like their macarons but it’s a hit and miss, some are nice and soft and some are just stale. I stopped ordering after an incident where I did not receive what I ordered and contacted the store after and they completely just ignored me and did not acknowledge anything. Stopped going back and will never recommend this store. Plenty of other places to order from with better customer service and product.

Firstly, from the moment you enter the shop the owner is who you see and she is so friendly and kind. You will lover her cupcakes they are hands downtime the best I have ever had in Mississauga and Toronto. The cake was moist and the icing was good. Overall it is exactly what you are looking for. Hands down they are far better then the ones offered at The Social which are super dry and hard.

for $160 for 6" (10-15 guests)cake i would expect way more. i ordered cake for my daughters 16th bday. the cake looked great i need to agree with that, but the taste wasn't there. the cream was basically butter and sugar. it was also frozen. even kids didn't like. waste of money. i am sorry to say, because Patricia was really nice but honestly it is not worth the price.

I requested a quote, received it, and was really looking forward to working with this vendor for a baby shower. I asked some questions around the quote and if I could adjust certain items. I never heard a response. I followed up several times and no response. It got to about 2 weeks before the event so I had to go with someone else. If you are too busy to take the order, or just don't want to, you should have the courtesy to let the customer know.

I ordered cupcakes, macarons, and donuts a few weeks ago and everything was delicious! The donuts were my favourite, but it was a very close call. Everything from the communication (I made a last minute order and wasn't sure if they would be able to accommodate it), the cute storefront, the gorgeous packaging right down to the taste and look of the sweets, it was a wonderful experience!

Patricia's cupcakes are delicious. They are the perfect level of sweetness. Not too sweet and just the right amount of icing. My whole family loves them. My favourite cupcake flavours are the peanut butter cocoa puff, and Ferraro Rocher. My 7 year old loves the cookies and cream cupcake. This is my new favourite cupcake place.

Disappointing! As a resident of the area I drive past this store front all the time: I finally decided to stop in to get some cupcakes for my daughter and husband. While they looked beautiful, they did not taste good at all! They were very dry and quite frankly, overpriced for how they tasted. Disappointing as I am still on the hunt for a good bakery in Port Credit!

I have to say for a very beautifully talented bakery shop, their service really sucks. I’ve tried to reach out to them a couple years back to have my wedding cake done through them and this was a fail! I emailed them. No response. I called the shop and someone took my message but no one called me back so i could place my order. A couple weeks back I tried again. I said hey why not let’s test my luck again and reach out for a quote. And let’s just say... until this day i haven’t received a response. Well then... i guess you don’t need customers.
