Best BBQ pork & pineapple buns I've had in a very long time. That is, from a retail location that you can walk into. Price is $1.15 but you get a very big bun with a lot filling. Staff were very nice. This bakery just reopened after a remodeling. There are several tables inside where you can sit down and eat. Located in a quiet strip plaza on Rathburn Road not far from Mavis Road and T&T Supermarket.

Hong Kong is the best place to have breakfast: fast and always delicious. The Mississauga equivalent is Oriental Bakery. The place is full of HK Chinese who savor the HK-style atmosphere and shoot the breeze with friends. Wait till you taste the buns!

I wish I’ve found this little gem earlier! They are only opened for 3 days in a week. Loveeee their pineapple bun and the HK style milk tea. A set of pineapple bun with butter and a hot drink is around $4 if I remember correctly. The hot food menu is not too big, but are all the classic ones you would find in a HK cha caan teng. Tried the beef noodle for breakfast, was really good too. Also had the chance to try their pineapple bun with char siu, egg tart, preserved vegetable pork floss bun and Mexican bun. I still like the classic pineapple bun with butter the most, compared to all the others. And the Mexican bun is definitely very different from those I got in Asia where there is butter in the middle. I think they still do best with hk items. Fillings for all the buns are quite sufficient and they are really generous with butter when you order the boloyao for dine in. Last but not least, if you can’t make a trip to HK, dining in here definitely makes you feel like in HK.

Hands down best Asian bakery. We would drive from Milton because it’s the only place that makes the best coconut bun. They also have two types of egg tart: flaky dough (which I love) and pie crust dough (which my husband loves) this place is perfect for us! The bread with fillings are actually filled. They are not stingy compare to other bakery. They are also very friendly. I ask recommended trying their food. HK style French toast with condensed milk is so good!

Great Hong Kong breakfasts and bread and pastries. Their selection of breakfasts may not be huge, but everything was made well. I have their Ding Ding noodles breakfast and it was delicious. Their Hong Kong style iced milk tea is strong and good. Will definitely go back again and again, for both breakfasts and pastries!

I've been coming here for a number of years now with my family for both take out treats and weekend breakfast. I travel here from Oakville and have many friends who come over from Burlington. Oriental Bakery is my favourite HK style bakery hands down. Best egg tarts, pineapple buns, and hearty breakfast food. I love ordering egg sandwiches which might sound like a simple dish but the execution is everything. Perfectly scrambled eggs with a creamy texture paired with crustless soft and fluffy freshly made bread. Having it with a hot HK style milk tea always hits the spot. I also recommend their Dan Dan noodles, fish balls, and breakfast platter with oatmeal. The owners Lilian and Francis, and their kids are an amazing bunch. Very friendly and they make an effort to know their customers. This restaurant is a staple in the community.

What a surprise! A gem in Mississauga if you crave Hong Kong style food. The milk tea is nice and strong, smooth to the palate because they use Black & White evaporated milk. The pineapple bun with butter is heavenly! Their coffee is fresh ground and definitely worth more than they charge! Btw, they offer a coffee and bun combo for merely $3.75+! Lunch and snacks are made to order and I will definitely come back for those. Decor and seating are comfy.

I had a great experience with this bakery. I had a cake order that was made exactly according to my request for the Canada day long weekend when they were closed. They went out of their way to come in to the bakery on the morning they were closed so I could pick up the order. That's good customer service! The cake was delicious.

Service is great, very friendly staff shop keeper lady. I bought 4 items: Pineapple bun (90 cents @ 65% satisfaction) the bread was average empty white flour in taste and the topping did not have a distinct sweet flavour, felt empty crumbly) Pineapple bun with BBQ pork filling ($1 @ 95% satisfaction) I now know why the topping for the pineapple bun was so "empty crumbly". The topping is the light contrast to the heavy flavours of the BBQ pork filling which was perfectly salted, and has a strong Chinese BBQ pork presence. The balance is done well, the pork filling vs. bread vs. topping ratio. Overall an excellent bun. Best thing I bought there so far! Coconut Bun (90 cents @ 30% satisfaction) This bun is corrupted by the coconut filling. It is supposed to be sweet, but I found it was also bitter and had a thick oily aftertaste. Do not get this one. Maybe I got an old one since authentic whipped cream goes bitter within hours. Egg Tart (70 cents @ 85% satisfaction) This tart's pastry is the non-crumbly hard crust class that is superior by NOT being an oily bland mess of nothingness. The pastry was solidly well constructed and the egg filling has a light sweetness that feels elegantly baked with care. Considering the average of the 4 items was 71% give this bakery a chance. This bakery shows promise since at least 2 items are amazing (Pinapple topped BBQ Pork bun and Egg tart) just be selective of the items and you will come out happy, fat, and satisfied! So worth it!

I was in the mall to try Hey Noodles. And I saw the Chinese bakery located at the end of the mall. I know that this bakery has been around for a long while. I have heard about it for years. But for some reason or another, the stars never aligned and I never visited before until today. It is a local family run business. So that already earns my respect and our support. The service was friendly and efficient. They have so many regulars there. I can tell because everyone knew the other person's name etc. So that is always a great sign. A happy customer is a return customer for life. I am not a fan of the Chinese "Baos" truth be told....it is true. But everyone now and then, I will try it. In glad that I did today. I am impressed with the freshness and the tastiness of every one of my selections today. The classic HK Milk Tea with condensed milk was fabulous. Kudos here too. I discovered that they even have a Hot food selection. So I realized that this really is a prototypical / classic HK cafe / bakery that serves breakfast and hot meals. I will return to try their hot food menu later on for sure. Please drop in if you are in the area ...but make a mental note that they are only opened from Wed-Sun ONLY !!! And then let us all know what you think.

I am a loyal customer of this bakery. Often travel far to get bread for my kids. Price is reasonable and bread quality won't let you down. Sometimes we buy other local HK dishes and also taste good. It is one of our favourite bakeries in Mississauga. However, yesterday's cake experience was so so disappointing. I travelled far to book the cake for my younger kid birthday. As the bakery does not open on Tuesday, I accommodate their business day to our birthday celebration (move two days earlier than planned). Based on the quality of their bread, I was very looking forward to taking the durian cake home yesterday. However, when we cut the cake and tasted it, it was very disappointing. The cake (chiffon) was not fluffy, airy or bouncy, instead, the texture was very dense and heavy (you can see from the pictures) . The cream is not the regular 35% milk cream so tasted a little bit awkward. The cake was too sweet as well. In a word, compared with the quality of their bread, the cake was so poorly made......and as a loyal customer of this bakery, I really did not expect to have a birthday cake like this for my kid's birthday celebration. I travelled far, I moved our celebration earlier and the cake did let us down..... I have recommended the bakery to many of my friends and also my kids' dentist, but through this time's cake experience (compared with my other experience of similar type of cakes bought elsewhere), I definitely won't recommend them buy cakes for their celebrations.

A small Hong Kong style bakery shop. Their egg tarts are probably one of the bests in town. They are smooth and flavourful. I also tried their pineapple bun with bbq pork filling, they are pretty generous with the filling and at the cost of $1.5, I will definitely be back.

Went before and their buns were done (near end of day) but got their tarts. Soooooo good. Then today went back at an earlier time for their buns and scored two bbq pork buns and thank god I got 2. Sooooo good 100% will replace the ones I get at gorcery. ???????????????? Plus the people were so sweet. And they really did adapt well to the covid regulations without ruining the experience of being in the bakery

Do not come here unless you speak the language (cantonese) or look like you speak the language..they make you feel uncomfortable and out of place. Customer service is nill and unwilling to help.. disappointing as I had high hopes based on google reviews! This review is strictly based on the interaction I had with the staff. I cannot comment on the food as I felt too uncomfortable to purchase (it didn't seem like they cared for my business anyway)
