Great pastries and donuts, the owner knows me as a regular now because of my sweet tooth! Everything is so hospitable and warm there, even in the winter time. Bread, danishes, donuts, etc. are always freshly made and smell amazing. Coffee is great, by the way ;)! None of my friends know much about this place, but I always recommend it to them for that homey feel and cozy warm interior. I love this place anyways and it's just a cute little hidden gem by the huge, looming big store giants of Dollarama and Shoppers, plus the terribly ginormous McDonald's!! Go there if you haven't heard of it, best danishes in the area ????❤️ Love it

The local Portuguese bakery, items are a bit hit and miss with some baked goods just not having the right moist, chewy consistency you expect. - Mimi's Cake Tour

Al Harji

Fresh baked bread and Danish daily. Totally yummmm

Jeremy P

Don’t speak Portuguese? Be prepared to pay more. There’s no prices shown for baked goods or for deli meat. 5 little buns and 200g of bologna set me back $11. Was expecting maybe $5. The deli meat doesn’t get a sticker showing the weight or the cost. So take some stuff to the front; speak English; and get overcharged.

This is such a hard working family, who sell excellent bread, baked goods, special sausage and all sorts of imported dry goods. A big part of their business has been to supply some of our great local restaurants. That business of course has dried up for the moment. They are working hard to keep strong and ready in their business, so their employees can return and the restaurant customers still have one of their best suppliers- this shop - to retun to once the pandemic loosens its grip on all of us. Go try some yummy things here and keep these people in business!

Lovely family neighborhood bakery.

Federica Romano Giampuzzi

Excellent selections of European breads and pastries. Owner is a 3rd generation of Portugese bakers. It’s harder and harder to find these hidden gems. 5 stars!

Ashley-Rose

This cozy bakery has a wonderful selection of bread that is freshly baked daily! The prices are very reasonable and the items they sell are very tasty. They usually keep pizza dough in the back, so if you don't see something you want just ask them. Who knows what other goodies are hidden back there! They also will whip up a sandwich or beverage for you and have tasty treats behind the counter in the front. They make these sugared donuts with cream that are to die for. Definitely a great place to have in the neighborhood!

Stopped by yesterday by accident, was in McDonald's drive thru and I wasn't feeling it. Spotted someone walk inside the bakery and had to check it out myself. Got a nice turkey sandwich on Portuguese bun. Best. Decision. Ever.

The bread is not bad however something is happening because it's no longer the same. The bread is not as good as before, lately the taste of the natta is terrible and there is no list of prices available.

This is really the only Portuguese bakery in Port Credit and its a hidden gem. Fresh bread and many choices at any time of day. Doesn't seem like the pastries are made in-house but they're of top quality. A few grocery items, mostly imported stuff that isn't readily available elsewhere. Decent prices. Convenient location. The owner is nice, just keep in mind the cultural differences so don't expect an overly friendly experience.

Service Service

First visit, bread was acceptable, pastry was awful, imo, should have been thrown out, dry and crumbling. Will not return, too many other choices. Also, waited 5 minutes to pay while the woman behind the counter was arguing with a customer who was trying to return pastries he bought. Hmmmm.

Love the fresh baked buns... I just find when I go in they never have the ones I want and I ha e gone at different times.. Also I feel like they need more help up front for the busy times I get that it's a small place and I get that the owners want to talk to their customers that they have known for years, but I have sometimes waited 15 mins because they are talking with customers and then after I have waited they don't have what I want... Its a little bit frustrating... Other than that it's a great bakery close to home...

Jovica Korasic

They have the best havarti and ham that's sliced as requested. Take them home. And make your sandwich but and boy the buns with cheese and ham and your choice of condiments is pure pleasure.

J Medeiros

Poor customer service. Extremely rude. I will never go back again. I’ve been there about 6 times and it’s the same rude lady who I’m assuming is the owner.

Yummy pastries, danishes, Portuguese custard tarts & delicious breads. Espresso to sip at a couple of small tables. Judging by the crowd at 9 am on a weekday, this is a popular neighbourhood spot - with good reason!

Another amazing place to stop when on the Lakeshore by Cawthra they bake everything themselves!!! A wall of breads and buns.. lots of Euro foods items PLUS Pastry items huge selection and ultimate Cakes!!! all made in house "no" artificial ingredients "Real" cream fruit choclate etc they are amazing and priced very well for what you get.... last ethnic meats and sausages quality number one.... so pull into the Shoppers/Mc Donalds plaza and give this little place a good checking out... you won't regret it

Vladimir Adamec

Small bakery close to Port credit, we love to get bread and other European bakery products here!

D Sinanan

A nice & cozy shop. Yummy bread but Deli options are limited. Wasn't aware of any prices until I cashed out. Overall good service.

craig wilson

The baked goods are great but service is terrible. The single employee serving customer will spend 10 minutes making a coffee for a regular customer and let everyone else stand in a 15-20 minute long line. With covid you might even end up standing outside in the rain for 10-15 minutes. The lakeview/Port Credit area needs another bakery badly. Instead of a new barbershop or pharmacy opening every 6 months, someone can study the area, realise we have enough of those and open a new bakery.

Tonya Elmazi
