Google Maps are a lil off-- from where it tells you to go, go further down and it's around and to the back, past the Danish pastry shop. The ship front is small, but decent stocked-- I made the mistake of not taking pictures! The pumpkin and yam were PRETTY! Better than you would ever get at your standard grocery store or West Indian shop. The hardo bread is tasty, a lil sweet though; the beef patty's... They're okay if you're hungry in a pinch. The buns are delicious and go nice with guava jam--which they also sell, along with a large variety of teas, including tumeric, Moringa, and a bunch of ginger mixes. They are clean and friendly, a steady stream of customers (but the store was NOT busy/crowded), and enough space for 2 people to be in an area comfortably.

The food at the take out counter is limited but what they do offer is DELICIOUS Jamaican food! Their portions are decent and the lady at the cash could work on her customer service skills. They also have a small section of Caribbean groceries, meats, and breads. I wanted a pack of beef patties (which I hear are made on site and amazing) but they were sold out. Definitely going back.

Hidden gem in the Churchill Meadows area, it is known as a grocery store, however, they have exceptionally good hot foods such as the jerk chicken, beef patties, etc. Surprised not many people know about the offerings here, highly recommend.

so I typed best patty in oakville n found this place. First off Google tells you it's in the first of 4 buildings but it's in the building diagonal to it. Friendly staff. I didnt see any hot foods but maybe bc it was well past lunch when I went at 4 PM. So the patties were different I liked them my gf didnt think anything of them. Woulda been nice if they had more filling tho. If you are used to Randy's patties n are expecting something like that you will be very disappointed. Overall it wasn't anything special that I'd choose over a convenient store pattie so ya hope this helps.

Had the curry goat for lunch, and I'm sorry to say it's not as flavorful as others I've had. This would have been a 3-star rating but unfortunately the young woman at the cash register was very unfriendly. Frowning, no eye contact, one-word responses. I felt like a very unwelcome inconvenience to say the least. The older ladies were very nice (thus the 2nd star), though not enough for me to return.

Rely on this bakery for amazing West Indian and Caribbean treats. The owner is professional honest and dedicated. The banana bread is absolutely amazing. If you live in the Erin Mills area consider stopping in. Follow them on Instagram I'm sure you're going to see a lot of great meals being posted as well as festive cakes.

Jeanie’s is the best place to get fresh baked hard dough bread, hands down in Mississauga. This bread brings back memories of the original taste from Jamaica. Another favourite pick up at Jeanie’s is the grapenut ice cream. If the prices were more competitive I would have given a 5 star but groceries here are definitely priced higher than other West Indian grocers. Regardless though, I will still continue to support local.

Craved beef patties and was not disappointed! I had to call in make sure I was in the right area as the location seemed to be in an industrial plaza with loading truck zones for random businesses. The Google maps leads to a Matt's and Steve's store. However you need to go through the truck loading zone and go to the left building.

You may wonder why I give 5 star...I never new about this bakery until a few months ago...I was at a friend of mine house playing dominos and went to the kitchen for beer and saw the bread the moment I look at the bread I could tell it's a good bread...after I taste it I just could not stop eating it I almost eat off the gentleman bread...I ask him where is the bakery?... where it located?...he could not tell me so I Google it...every since that day every weekend on my way home I stop at jeanie's bakery and top up with 2 bread by the time me reach home 1 of the bread done...that's how nice it is...the best bakery in and out of town .

Found Jeanies's on the website,we were looking for a bakery who made dove bread,being it was close to Christmas. I seen all the wonderful reviews and we decided to try it out, we ordered a few dove bread for the family. There dove bread was nice and soft and we got a few box of patties they were delicious and we end up also getting the hardo bread best hardo bread I've had in a long time. Staff very unfriendly. The restaurant portion has gotten really bad. Bought stew peas and my goodness the portion was so small for $12. 4 small pieces of meat. Rice grains was tough. Will never buy again. When they first started the restaurant it was good food and food portion. Wasted my money .

I asked for 6 beef patties, and they said if I want a box, it’s going to be cold, but if I wanted the warm ones they can’t give me a box and they need to charge me individual price, whatever, get home and go to enjoy and find out one of the patties didn’t even have meat Inside it! Definitely not going to return, they taste like the ones at costco as well. Nothing special.

I purchased bulla cakes on Tuesday, they were moldy by Thursday morning, almost 2 weeks before the expiry date. Called the store and was told they knew about the issue and they had forgotten to put dough preservative in the batter the week before. Now that customers were calling and complaining, they said they were trying to collect all the now moldy bulla cakes (so they knew of the issue and still tried to sell the faulty cakes!). I showed up to return the moldy bulla and decided to get a hardo bread as well. There was no apology for the inconvenience or explanation or any words said except "That's a difference of $2.50 for the hardo bread". I facetiously said "You should just give me the hardo bread considering the inconvenience and how far i drove to get here to return this". The staff member caught an attitude and said "Excuse me?!?" in an argumentative tone. Will never come back here. Their products taste decent but they clearly don't know what customer service is or how to remedy their own mistakes.

Google maps took me close, but Jeanie's is in the second building in the rear then you have to drive along edge of building. Yes, it was worth the extra effort. Staff very friendly. The patties were meaty, fluffy, not flaky just the way I like it, and delicious. Just wished more spicy. Quite inexpensive, a dozen for $13.50. A must go to.

Absolutely the worst Jamaican patty I have ever eaten. I would rather eat a prepackaged frozen patty before eating here again. The patties had no meat and the crust is tasteless. When you're running a Restuarant you need to provide customers quality food. Don’t insult my culture by calling this a Jamaican beef patty. I've been a customer of Jeanie's since they were at the old location. Sadly since they moved,there patties have gone from being the best in Mississauga to below average. Essentially all crust ,with very little fillings or flavor and the sizes are more like cocktail patties. They make really good breads;stay away from the soups;too much sodium. Not have reusable or plastic bags on sale is ridiculous.
