After traveling back from France in a while, it's kinda hard to come back to Canada and settle for oily croissants and 100kg of sugar pastries. But this is by far the closest you can get to French croissants, macarons, mille-feuille with Canadian ingredients. I love everything at this place except the Mille-feuille which lacks that fluffiness I have tasted in Alsace-Lorraine. Place is small and cozy but staff aren't friendly. Overall my go-to place to buy pastries for take-out!
First-time visitor to this famous bakery after driving by literally hundreds of times! Can't believe it took us this long to discover one of Mississauga's Best Kept Secrets! All of the pastries we bought were mind-blowing and we have just become their biggest fans! Will be back as soon as we finish off our last loaf of bread!
Everything tasted so good, the sandwiches, the croissants and mousse were all fabulous and it’s a big plus that it’s all halal. The only reason I took off one star is the customer service. The staff was really curt and acted like it was a chore to bring out our food. When I first walked in two girls were having their own conversations and when I stood in front of them it seemed the went out of their way to ignore me. When I finally said something I was just greeted with a “yeah?”. I’m not sure if they were having a bad day which is totally understandable but it just made a fun experience not so fun.
Delicious pastries, wonderful variety and freshly made
Visited French Corner Pastries with my friends for coffee and desert. Thanks to all positive reviews to whom I trusted. We had great time and enjoyed delicious cakes and coffee. Very nice coffee shop and bakery with friendly service. Amazing selection of pastries and cakes. Will be back for sure and will bring my children.
Friendly staff and excellent service combined with tasty food and beverages make this neighborhood French bakery worth visiting again and again. In particular, the French onion soup and lattes were delicious. Washrooms need a little cleaning but overall would recommend to visit.
My go to place for almond croissants and their kouign amann is to die for!
Croissants completely changed within the last year. Used to come here a few times a week and they used to have the best croissants, now not only are they half the size but are ALWAYS greasy on the inside like its liquid butter. definitely does not taste fresh anymore.
Good quality products on the higher range of price
Amazing place for deliciousness and friendly staff
Very good pastries, but the ambience and service isn't always the best.
Little beat price but amazing macarons
Food is pretty good, a bit pricey though. Service is generally poor. Better service and I would have given them 4 stars....
Full disclosure I never expected to get good croissants here especially in Mississauga, just got back from Europe and had some amazing croissants. So did some research and this place has gotten quite some positive feedback, I see some negatives in there so with that in mind I bought various items to get a good idea of their range. The positive the Almond sku was my favourite it seemed very fresh and flaky and delicious. My disappointment was the Pistachio bear claw.. The filling was non existent except a thin line in the bottom it felt stale. The hazelnut as well was not moist and just not on the same quality as the Almond sky again the filling was inadequate. I spoke to the owner who was friendly and took my feedback, he assured me 80% of the people like the hazelnut sku and he double bakes them it just was too dry/tough for me.. Spinach croissant...wheres the spinach to thin of a layer... At 3 bucks I think you can add more then that... All in all I was not wowed and I'm glad I tried a new local place but I don't crave to ever go back again... I am clearly not in the norm as they do seem to have positive experiences so I guess to each their own... Maybe I had a bad batch I don't know...At these prices you expect to be blown away anything less is...
The white choc raspberry cheesecake is amazing!
This spot constantly delivers. They have fresh dishes for reasonable pricing, there is no waiting time even when they are packed.
Delicious pastries!!
Super cute place with friendly staff. Highly recommend the baked goods, was extremely happy with the Danishes and croissants. Can't wait to come back and try more!
Really nice..a tad expensive and staff a bunch grumpy but the pastry makes up for it
They have best cakes in Town, specially if you're a crossant lover then you should must try Their Almond Crossant.... The best , the best, the best......
Always fresh croissants in the morning. Best croissants we have found in all our travels in Ontario, qc, and the US.
Good shop for breakfast meals
Great desserts!
Great stuff and great service and prices
Great bread and French style pastries.
Really good coffee and nice staff. Good variety of snacks and desserts.
Everything is delicious!! Had many items from here and never disappointed.
Loved the service and fresh baked croissants!
The best patisserie in town. Fantastic quality. The chef is a genius. Worth a long drive. Extraordinary foodstuff.
Love the food and service here! A quick lunch between meetings and I was so glad I stopped here!
Average desserts and coffee and bad service.
Really good croissants- comparable to bakeries in Paris, France! Their cakes are freshly made and look lovely. I also tried their carrot cake and loved the richness of the icing.
Very good pastries!
It was my first encounter to order at this place. I wanted to order an 10" cake for a friend's bday. Before I ordered, I tried the strawberry short cake and Desire Cake. Both the cakes were awesome but I went with strawberry short cake since I found the desire cake to be a little sweet-sour because of the berries. I will definitely visit again to try other cakes. The price is fair - I spent 60$ for a 10'' cake.
Love the white pistachio cake
Good place for a sweet bite.
Nice and good …
Wide variety of baked goodies, tasty sandwiches and scrumptious cakes that look like artwork. Enjoying scrumptious desserts, especially macaroons, croissants and decadent latte feels like having tasty delicacies on some French Corner in Paris. Exceptional customer service, attentive and courteous. Delicious and sublime sweets are my ultimate guilty pleasure at this cosy desserts’ paradise. L❤️VE it.
Nice local spot that carries quite alot of variety. Coffee, desserts, bread, homemade candy, pastries, and more. Worth checking out if you're in the area. Possibly family owned, as quite a few young helpers on the floor usually. Enjoyed and would come back to try more .
Great tasting and looking pastries. I would say they need to have more selection for pastries.
A very nice bakery with delicious pastries, breads and coffee.
Nice little joint filled with delicious goodies.
Their mango cake is great. Haven't had a chance to try other stuff but they have a good selection of pastries and tarts.
the best pastries!
Really nice desserts, comfy and clean and good customer service.
Delicious cakes and pastry
The best croissants ever!!! Would give them another star for that if I could.
I love to come here for a coffee and cookie, and I buy gifts here like macarons. Very lovely pastries. Sign in front says halal.
Tasty French patisserie and friendly staff
A neighbourhood gem. Has grown and evolved throughout the years. Quality still top notch!
Everything is fresh and it tastes amazing, the chef really knows what he is doing. The place is a bit pricey but again the taste does not disappoints!!!
pretty good
I like the breads and pastries
Always FRESH always Great Quality ...I buy only from them for over 5 years....???? Bravo.
I love the breads there. I love everything about it ????????????. You can enjoy a meal and coffee there with a nice French atmosphere ???? it's ideal to have a weekend breakfast there!
Love this place, definitely one of the best cafés around, so quaint and everything is fresh and tasty
Always has the best selection.
Great little coffee shop and bakery. Prices are right on the money here and the staff are all very friendly.
I swear I don't have a sweet tooth but as soon as I walk in to this bakery and the smell of the fresh croissants hit I want to gorge myself on all the pastries. All their breads, and pastries are made in house and the smell will have you drooling as soon as you walk in.
Amazing pastries. My family goes here almost exclusively for our birthday cakes now. They have chocolate mousse, mango cheese cake, tiramasu. This last time we got the lemon chiffon. This is a nice light sponge cake with creak filling, raspberry preserve and lemon on top. They always present a beautiful picture.
The eclair, mango mouse, and berry mouse were some of the best desserts I have ever had. Will come back for more ????
The croissants were just ok but the fruit flavors called were good. Mango and raspberry were both good and they'll put a signed decoration on it.
Fabulous pastry and cake chef.
The macarons are nice, orange was the best flavor from the 6 flavors I tried: pistachio, guava, chocolate, chestnut, orange, and vanilla. However, I couldn't taste the guava or the pistachio in the macarons. But they were soft and tasted fresh. Useful fact: each macaron is $2, and you don't pay tax if you buy 6 or more macarons. The seating area is nice, and the staff is friendly. The place is also halal which is pretty cool.
Wide selection of delicious baguettes, pastries, coffees and some lunch options. Super friendly staff and nice atmosphere to sit and enjoy your purchase ????
Waited a long time to be served. No one greeted me. Walked out.
Delicious pastries, macarons, croissants and great coffee. My daughter loves this place.
I am constantly on the lookout for good bakeries with authentic French croissants and this place does not disappoint! I've had some of the "best croissants" (according to various articles) in Toronto and while they were good, I have to say the ones here are by far the best, AND they're just down the street from me. The cakes are decadent and I am excited to try some of their other desserts as well. I'm so excited to have found this place.
Service is terrible , over priced
Good pastry place.
Some of the best croissants are served here. 10/10
Amazing! Croissant, Amandine, pain au Chocolat perfection! Lemon chiffon cake, pistachio bear claw, focaccia spectacular! Great bakeries are hard to find these days and authentic french patisserie impossible until I stumbled across this place! If you don't try it out you'really missing out.
Perfectly crafted desserts, no other bakery in the city comes close in terms of quality and perfecting their desserts and pastries.
This Cafe is amazing. Great people and very clean. A little pricy but totally worth it. Everything from the food, coffee and people was exquisite
Be cautious you can get addicted easily... Always fresh and tasty.
Amazing place to pick up deserts for a party, or just to have lunch with a friend. The croissants and tarts are a must get. Very kind staff and overall good experience.
Good selection of pastries
Amazing French bakery! Croissants like we had in Paris. Their almond croissants are divine.
Very good espresso, friendly staff. Halal options available, I wish they had Keto Friendly baked goods. Very cozy interior and plenty of parking.
Excellent bakery. Great products & lot of variety.
Love their cakes and sandwiches
It is one of the best bakeries I go to.
Maybe my taste is Americanized ????????♀️ I didn't really see anything yummy other than chocolate cookies and croissants.
One of the BEST DESERTS IN TOWN. Have become a regular customer. Downside ... Very high priced. But the taste is unbeatable, fully satisfying.
Clean and a nice place to chill with a friend. Need to try more of their pastries. And looking forward to it. Coffee ain't bad. Staff is nice enough.
If you live in Mississauga, you are very aware of the blight of non-franchised, one of a kind bakeries. The only place you can get a pastries is by going to a grocery store, or costco. This place is a godsend to this suburban wasteland. It's in a nice area, the staff are friendly, and the pastries are fabulous.
A few years back the ceiling was covered in dust balls. Hopefully they have cleaned it since...
Lovely place, very nice
My favourite bakery in Mississauga. They offer great croissants (well, not like in Montreal but the best around here), affordable lunch options like foccacia, salad, soup and sandwich combos and amazing cakes. We always buy cakes from French Corner. They are made in house, fresh, very affordable and amazing flavours. I wish they'd be open a bit later in the evening as I sometimes feel like having a dessert after dinner.
It's a nice cafe... I came to visit Toronto for few days. Chocolate mousse with Cappuccino is awesome! It's also Halal if you're looking into the food section.
Really good coffee and very authentic!
Went on a Sunday around noon-ish with a friend. My friendly highly recommended this place especially for brunch. His croissants were quite flaky and buttery. I ordered the roast beef panini and it was pretty good. The cappuccino they made was delicious. Overall pricey especially with the deserts. Staff was attentive and nice. I am unsure if this place had a patio area. I looked around the corner and just saw one table with two seats. But the location was not appealing to look at. Wished there was more seating both in and outside.
Wow! This is really a great cafe place. They have wide variety of pastries and sweets to choose from. Their coffee is wonderful. Its great for the price as well. I really enjoyed the broccoli cheddar quiche. The croissant is buttery and big.
Awesome breads and desserts! came here for breakfast this morning????????????????
Cakes are delicious
The tiramisu cake and mille-feuille here are unbelievable. I've been frequenting this establishment for about 3 years now and everyone who I've had try the tiramisu cake and mille-feuille have loved it. I also sometimes get the croissants and danishes as well and I recommend those too. The one cake I wasn't too fond of was the green one, it was alright, but I'd try something else next time. The staff are amazing. Highly recommend.
Thiabreviewbwas editednreomna 5 star to a 2. Great place very cozy and clean with good service and amazing looking pastries but u get a surprise once u get home as I found the Nutella croissants that I drove all the way to buy for the kids to, to be like a rock a sign that this is not a daily made fresh item On the other hand the chocolate croissants were good bread was sonsonwirh flakes and the Tiramisu and other items looked better than they tasted. All the best
Love this place. Large selection of fresh delicious pastries made on premise, great bread and the best espresso in Mississauga.
Absolutely amazing! Ive gotten their desserts for formal dinners, birthdays, any guest visits, and always they are impressed by how beautiful and delicate these desserts appear!
We tried the raspberry cheesecake, pink mini meringue, raspberry white chocolate cake, and raspberry macarons. Was okay, I've had better macarons and better cheesecake.the meringue was the best thing out of everything I got.
Excellent little hidden store. All their baked items are made with care and is a great spot for a small treat.
I'm fortunate to have this gem of a bakery within driving distance. If you like flaky, buttery croissants, fresh bread, and an assortment of sweets to satisfy your sugar cravings, then you owe it to yourself to stop by.
i enjoyed their desserts and macaroons.
Good food, friendly staff
Decent cakes but a little pricey side.
Great selection of bakery goods. Their Croissants are to die for. Highly recommended.
Tasty, however pretty pricey.
Beautiful selection of dessert and such good service! Can't wait to come back
Great selection and delicious food.
Delicious and great space to study
It is nice service, but it is too expensive for desserts that are regular taste! It is nothing special.
Great and fast service. Delicious food. I had a great time today having breakfast with a friend
Had a yummy delicious breakfast with husband! Cold sandwiches are must haves
A must-go place if you live nearby.
The patisserie is below my expectations after reading all the reviews I expected better quality for the food.. but the worse was seeing a cockroach making his journey between tables???? I couldn’t finish eating.
They have good assortment of cakes and cookies, very good quality. Definitely one of my favorite
Place is clean, fairly spacious, has friendly and helpful staff, and most importantly a variety of delicious pastries!
The patisserie made here is absolutely devine. Quality ingredients with just the perfect amount of sweet. There is plenty to choose from and the staff are friendly. Will be back for another visit soon.
The French Corner is literally a Mississauga gem! The every bite you take reminds you of a taste in a Parisian cafe. All the flavours of the cakes are sweet, full-bodied and robust. Especially love how all the bread, cakes, and other scrumptious treats are make in-house! A definite must-visit when in the area.
I love the pastries here!
Authentic, fresh and delicious cakes! Got two on my bday and they were absolutely divine and unique. Love it
Wish my experience was as great as I hoped it would be. My partner and I were on the hunt for some macaroons and we found out this cafe sells them, we were so delighted until after we ate them and both of us ended up getting sick.. the service was alright, staff weren’t patient with us and its not like there were a lot of people for them to be impatient. Willing to go back and try it out again as the dessert presentation is amazing but we’ll see !
French and Halal...I guess it is possible.
Love the croissants there. Feels and tastes like in those bakery stores in Paris/Europe. Always crowded and line up on the weekend.
First time I've been there line up area a bit confusing but the desserts are amazing. Will be back!
Best French Bakery in Mississauga. I haven't tried everything but I recommend the chocolate croissants.
Though the location of the café is a bit hard to find, the café itself it very pleasant. This café has a variety of decadent pastries, gelato, bread, coffee, sandwiches AND soup. Their menu, apart from being diverse, is halal as well - which is a plus. The price of the gelato is very good for the quality, though some of the pastries could be a bit cheaper. The interior is very nice and cool - a blessing in the heat, and there is something for your svery need.
This place is a cake heaven. Thank you chef for the amazing mickey and Minnie cakes. The guests loved the white chocolate raspberry cake.
The partries are very colorful but the taste wasnt as par. I guess if you compare it to the pastries you get in a pure French patisserie, it disappoints; but if you just want a quick sweet fix, its not too bad. Their raspberry mousse (rectangle shaped) pastry was pretty good and also the chocolate mousse pastry. Rest weren't that great.
Great selection of baked goods, and the best chocolate croissants
There is no doubt that this place has great quality and an amazing array of baked items. It is just outstanding. But on the flipside it’s not very clean and the service is mediocre. I guess if you’re Arab or subscribe to Halal you will get better service here. Parking is very easy is very close to transit and the prices are good.
Taste is good, expensive though
Great store and great food
Amazing treats that are always fresh! they now also sell day old items for half off so if you are on a budget but looking for some quality baked goods ???? you really get the bang for your buck. Honestly one of my favorite little hideaways ♡
Loved the fine patisserie made here. Quality ingredients and attention to the details. This is as close as it gets to a great European patisserie. Yes in Europe you would find this wonderful places everywhere. Here in Canada you can count these fine places on the palm of your hand. This place is one of them. Enjoy your favorite fancy pastry with a nice latte or cup of coffee...
Best croissants I've ever had
Good French bakery, with tasty and fresh croissants, breads. They have various mousse base cakes- not too sweet. I recommend
Nice little bakery, they’ve undergone some renovations so if you haven’t been there in a while it’s really tidied up and looks nicer. The food is great, you can find some breakfast/sandwich options and tons of desserts. You can even buy freshly baked bread and have it cut here.
Exceptionally High Quality European desserts!!! Chocolate mousse and Dark Chocolate desserts made from the highest quality ingredients at excellent prices. AMAZING STAFF who are very positive and accomodating they are the best!! Mississauga is fortunate to have this bakery
What a wonderful Bakery! Such a hidden gem! We purchased several cake slices, tarts, cookies and more. They were delicious and the price point was very reasonable! We will definitely be going back to sit, have a coffee and enjoy a little taste of heaven!
Delicious pastries and mini desserts. Beautiful presentation
My favourite place for coffee and a sweet.
The raspberry mousse was so delicious, I'd drive the 5 hours from Ottawa just to have it again!
Coffee is luke warm, tea is blazing hot, and the macaroon were soggy.
Great selection of pastries, great value, $5 for a tasty dessert convenient location and lots of parking space
This is a hidden gem! They have many desserts and breads and everything looked so fresh and tasty. …
Small cozy place with so many go varieties of patisserie and a decent number of sandwiches choices, crew are very cool and cheerful. You feel like home there, on the expensive side though. The one thing that I didn't like is that they only offer a mild coffee (and 8t was really light), they should have at least two choices (dark and mild) or three like every other store. Overall 5*
Being a fanatic for the best croissant in the city. French Corner absolutely positivily has the most amazing croisants in southern Ontario. Primo.. five stars. Their sandwhiches and sweets are wonderful as well.
Wonderful place, very high quality pastries with amazing coffee and a warm environment.
I can't believe I've never known of this place until just recently. This establishment has literally the best croissants that I've ever had. I've never tasted something that is this buttery, soft and crispy all at the same time. If you are looking for amazing pastries then this is THE place to go. I will be back, the next time I will try the cappuccinos and some sweets.
Very disappointed. Limited selection for a patisserie that claims to offer French pastries. Double disappointed by the quality. Ordered a Tiramisu. It was so bad that I couldn't finish it. It has nothing to do with Tiramisu and on top it it was expensive!!!! Not going back.
The "desire" cake is my son and husbands favourite, mine is the cheesecake. I love to go with my son to pick out extra treats to share with the grandparents who introduced us to this place. You can go in and get a bunch of little treats to share and try out! In the fall they have a WONDERFUL pumpkin seed bread, highly recommend that as well! We also went this weekend and got chocolate croissants and it was the best I have ever had. I was sad we only got two.
My red velvet want fresh and forks were not clean unfortunately.
This is a lovely cafe. There is a great variety of things to eat for lunch and the selection for dessert is delightful. Everything tastes good. Coffee is excellent as well. While dining here one might imagine they are sitting in Paris at a quaint little cafe like the many you will find there.
Will always go back there for their cakes croissants and just everything ???? (millefeuille and macarons are not the top though)
Great place for pastry in Mississauga.
Still the best pastry shop in all of Mississauga!
Delicious goodies, Variety and good flavor.friendly staff
Delicious macarons and a large selection of other tasty pastries. The coffee is also quite good.
Amazing strawberry shortcake!
I really enjoy the pastries and bread. Great quality imo. I am sure the other options are just as good if not better.
Fresh patisserie and delicious
Excellent sour dough bread!
I love this place. There are only 3 places we really enjoy buying bread from, and FCP is one of them. Always fresh and buttery delicious! I love their classic and chocolate croissants too. If I want a treat I'd grab one of those + a cappuccino. I can't rate them on their other pastries or cakes, as I haven't tried them, but if they make these the way they do their bread, then they must be good too.
The food is very good and tasty but the restaurant could be cleaner and the workers behind the counter seemed a little unorganized in preparing the orders.
Beautiful pastry and great customer service.
Cassy served us—she was warm and inviting, very patient and friendly. Lots of gorgeous and tasty treats to choose from and it smells great! 5 star experience!!!
Rude customer service. The food was not bad.
I saw another comment saying food here made them sick, and I was a bit worried. Today, after eating a French pear tart my stomache became upset too.
Flakiest croissants and good breads this side of town.
Love this place. We accidentally discovered it while biking, and now are regulars. Great pastry and desserts, tasty coffee.
Absolutely delicious! Just a little too pricey for me.
My family’s go to bakery for authentic French pastries. Always so delicious and so fresh!
Great cakes and pastries. I always stop by whenever I am in the area... Or I just go to the area specifically for this bakery ????. Their breads are also very good and at a good price. Sourdough loaf is $4.50 plus tax. For those worried about contact, this bakery has always had their goods behind glass and cases and the customers never touch anything. Their staff is also very mindful about distancing so I always feel safe to go there during these strange times.
Nice bakeries there.
Should try Chocolate moose, Chocolate dom and raspberry cheese cake
Delicious pastries and cakes...and great coffee!
Such beautiful food, so appealing to the eyes, taste so good, such wide assortment, and then they use their hand to serve you touching the food with their bare hands and using the same hand at the cash register. Imagine we in a pandemic where it's mandatory to wear a glove and they still refuse to do so phewww vomite.
This is such a great place to drink Coffee and chill I just wished the ventilated the area more because you can smell the strong smell of cooking a bit overwhelmed but I still love their pastry I highly recommend it :)
Tiramisu tasted very good !
This place is awesome. Food and coffees are delicious. Yum! Highly recommend
Wonderful place to enjoy an afternoon.
Love this place. Large selection of fresh delicious pastries.
Delicious desserts and cakes!
Chocolate fudge yummy!
Good food, nice staff
Wouldn't mind coming back!! I'd love to try more but fell in love with everything that we tried! Loved the moose and the red velvet specially. Really nice staff, didn't have coffee but would come back. We are from Toronto and we went somewhere close by for an event and a friend recommended this. So glad we went in!! It's a gem and so worth the drive! A great pick me up!! Lots to choose from!
We dropped in for a coffee and a pastry... excellent selection of delicious pastries, cakes, croissants, etc.. and the coffee was good too. A very nice place for a minor splurge, waay better than the average coffee shop...
very good crossaints. Crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. The lemon danish had a nice flavour.
We just pass by from this bakery by chance however we really really enjoy the taste. C’est Bon! C’est magnifique. Specially their cheese cake isn’t thick and fulfilling, not like some places.
Baked goods look delicious here
Went a few times, desserts are nice, but their grilled cheese is so amazing. You must try it.
Large assortment of breads, cake and pastries. Full espresso/coffee bar. Especially love their pear tart! And great service today!
Cheap tasty desserts! Great for take out. Sit down tables and chairs could be improved; decor reminded me of tim Horton's or coffee time.
Good bakery product options and lot of freshness, go early to get desired bread loaf! Prices on the higher side, but deserved for quality. Staff could be more welcoming ????
Great desserts!
I came here only twice before and I got the cheesecakes whitch were pretty good. But this is the last time i'll be returning, I ordered 3 things and all of them tasted off, expecally the blueberry cheese cake, it should have been in the trash not in the display window!! The coconut lemon bar I got was stale and the stick bun I got was warm but tasted just as off. I asked for a refund for the cheese cake and didn't even receive an apology, someone needs to come into this bakery and teach them how to give a excellent guest experience and some high standards. ????
I was a little disappointed with the almond filled croissants. They were dry and a little over baked. Considering you pay almost $4 for a croissant, you’d think the service would be a little better as well. It took forever to get the croissant to the cutting board, cut in half per my request and into the bag. And it took 2 people to do so. This would be a concern on busy mornings. I was there on a late Saturday afternoon and there was no one in line. I was disappointed in my whole experience and it makes me sad. With a name like “French Corner Patisserie”, you’d expect it to be top-notch. Oh and side note: the washroom was filthy. Can’t have a fancy French name with a dirty washroom. It just doesn’t make sense.
I feel like I just had a croissant for the first time .. this is what is supposed to taste like
Delicious options and nice people. Pretty busy too, glad we found it.
Such delicious pastries, lots of options. The sourdough bread is also amazing. The mousses are vegetarian friendly ! Parking available.
Fancy and delicious deserts. Exquisite.
This place has an amazing diverse range of baked goods from France. Some of the cashiers are very nice and some don't talk at all which I find strange since they should be trying to make a good impression on the clients. The only thing that was kind of disgusting here is that I went once and I guess they must've let some bread stay on the shelf for more time than they should have and half of it was rotten. This has only happened once but it was still gross. Though after we told them they apologized and swiftly too the bread away and gave us a fresh new one.
Delicious, super flaky croissants that are a must have. Go early or they sell out fast!
Delicious Halal items and very reasonable prices.
Good variety of French bread, cakes, cookies and macaroons. I am not so much fussy about the service. The place isn't that busy. They have a few variety of salad bar and sandwiches as well. I think if you wanna support the local establishment you should give them a try. French bakery is something that is very rare in GTA.
Price is very reasonable and I think they could charge more ! So happy to found this place and bought a birthday cake for my daughter ! Staff called Joyce (not sure) an Asian girl is super nice , make me felt so comfortable !
Had the best croissant! :)
Long line and only one staff member serving. I bought a few things to try out various items due to their high rating while I was in the area. Carrot cake slice was decent. White chocolate cake was OK. Two of the three croissants I purchased were underbaked, although the initial butter taste was excellent. A good variety of items are offered including breads and seasonal products. Coffee (black) was average, and didn't stand out from known brands at similar prices. There were a few people in line behind me yet so it is a busy place even at 1030am. I'm sure they could have made additional sales if they had a second person help out on till as I chose to get less complicated and easy to package items to save time from others in line.
Addicted to these scrumptious delicacies
Fresh is the way to go
I love, love their pastries!! They are soooo good and yummy!!
Yammy, one of my favourite bakeries! Very tasty! <3 <3 <3
There are a large selection of desserts - mosses and small pastries. They will make fresh to order waffles and sandwiches. The coffee is very good. Still missing that is a little difficult is the store is set up to be quite long so you may wish to look at the counter and then get in line rather than lining up because you can't see everything from the way the line twist before you hit the cash. There are a number of tables to sit down and enjoy your snacks and coffee or lunch. Staff generally seems friendly and knowledgeable.
Very cute, quaint and tasty!
We enjoyed all the treats we got
Best croissants in town.
Very friendly crew. The place is neat. Will definitely go back again.
Amazing croissants and baguettes
This place is awesome! Nice fresh products and very good customer service.
Great spot. Quality is amazing.. like you are in a French patisserie.
Lovely range of baked goods! One is never enough! I wish I could spend the whole day sampling all their delicious treats! 10/10 would go again.
Phenomenal place in Mississauga.
Some of the finest French pastry, dessert and bread in Mississauga!
Quality Products, Always Fresh, Tons of Varieties. Honest & Respectful Staff.
Love this place. Friendly staff and great assortments of treats!
A nice little place serving delicious baked good. Authentic French Patisserie with wide variety. Everything is Halal which makes it a good addition to Mississauga food scene and Muslim residents of the area
This cute little bakery has so many good options I was pleasantly overwhelmed! I had the roast beef sandwich, caramel macchiato, almost croissant, and the apple cinnamon waffle - all of which were delicious. The staff were very friendly. The only issue is the food was uncovered.
Really nice little bakery with some seating. A nice spot for lunch!
Awesome place, had a veggie sandwich and excellent coffee. Friendly staff
Great cakes, coffee not good at all.
I love to go there. It is a joyful experience for the eyes and the tummy! Yummmmmmm!
I found macaroons and cinimon bun stale. Their potatoes focaccia bread was ok.
We love their croissants and brioche bread!
love this place. The pastries are great. Breads as well...highly recommendee
My absolute favourite place to get croissants and artisan breads. I drive here from Toronto every other weekend just to grab some goodies.
It's time to drop by. They will give you more than a feeling of cozy and comfortable. Try it!
Everything I've ordered so far is so good. Been there a few times. Cakes, croissant and macarons are amazing! Definitely the best so far in Mississauga.
Their cheesecake is really good. But I haven't eaten anything like their carrot cake. Absolutely amazing. ( normally I don't even like it, tasted it thanks to my wife. I Am glad I did it)
Looked great and cozy not many choices great service as for the products the bread was freah but once home found out the nutella croissant was warmed up crunchy not a fresh one and for the price it felt like a ripoff u just lost a customer
Good selection of cakes and dessert! Very tasty and not overly sweet! Clean and tidy too!
Bought cake asked lady if it was fresh, it was horrible. The taste was sour and old. Not fresh at all.
Nice Bakery, but racist cashier who is extremely rude. She was extremely unfriendly when I went today at around noon. It was as if I was forcing her to talk when I simply asked a question if the cookies come in a box. The management needs to teach their employees about friendly customer service.
Really great place! You can sit and have a latte and a sandwich or grab a slice of cake or macaroon. Their croissants are absolutely a must! They have a delicious crisp outside and buttery soft inside. My only problem is that things are a little over priced. Not enough to stop you from eating there, just enough to make to question it a bit.
Been their customer for a while. Very nice place, never let me down
Addiction! Delicious pastries ????
Every single pastry, dessert and coffee I have got from here have been fantastic. Notably, the one dessert that introduced me to this patisserie is the french macaroons. The guava and chocolate and passionfruit are ridiculously good. I have been a faithful customer ever since the first day I tried one. I have ordered cakes from here in the past, always a crowd pleaser. Can't think of anyone that didn't enjoy every bite. Their prices are extremely fair and they always have a huge variety. If you are in the neighbourhood stop by for a snack. You won't be disappointed. I have seen their bread and sandwiches look good, although I have yet to try one.
Incredible bakery! Everything is fantastic! I highly recommend!
This is actually one of the lovely bakeries of Mississauga so if you're reading this and you want yourself a nice glass of coffee and a scrumptious cheesecake or pie you came to the right review!???????????????? The French Corner Bakery has had Renovations performed in the last year so now you'll find that it has a beautiful stucco finish but it has the same great pies and service that it's always had! ???????? So if you're out looking for a tasty treat or you want to cater your wedding or a party this is probably one of the places you should come for a scrumptious little snack! It's not far from Westdale Mall on the south side of Dundas located in the plaza with the Guardian Pharmacy. Thanks to the owners on the hard-working staff who are often students from the local area helping to serve a delicious Goods to local residents I assume while using their position to fund their Bright Futures????????♂️???? There are some delicious cheesecakes and various other yummy things but I like that there is a bench and if you're ever just driving or walking there's a delicious burger place that is close by so you can get yourself a burger and some lovely dessert or you can cater your entire wedding! LOL I say this because it's delicious wonderful homemade baked goods not just deserts but Breads and so it's fun to sit on the bench and there are some tables outside so you can relax watching the blue clouds float overhead sipping a coffee I'm snacking on some of the most delicious sweet Goods in Mississauga. ????????????☕????????????
Came by to grab a few desserts before going to class. They offer a variety of different desserts. They have macarons, cakes, cupcakes, croissants, coffee and sandwiches. As I was eating my cake I noticed that inside one of my berries there was something greyish black. I believe it's mould? Something that I was not expecting. Unexpected and disturbing. Thought that their desserts would be fresher. Not coming back here ...
Just delicious mouth watering sweets .. incredibly yummy. specially the tiramisu and the cupcakes. The staff is very nice and friendly.
Friendly service and their cakes are delicious!!! I really enjoyed their pistachio cake and their raspberry white chocolate cake. I will be back to try more. My son also loves their cookies.
Love the menu.
Cozy coffee shop excellent pastries good coffee
We were very busy when we came, and we could see that the people around loved it very much. Because we have to prepare food for the children’s party, we need to buy a lot, which is a pity. The attitude of the people who served us is really not friendly, and a little impatient. But anyway, it's worth four stars
We go here occasionally to browse through their decadent selection of desserts. There's a great variety of flavors and textures to choose from. The presentation is superb. If you're looking to satisfy your sweet tooth or a unique gift, this is the place to go.
Nice place for bakery stuff.
Loved the black Forrest cake and the chocolate pastry
Great service, delicious items, and ingredients are completely halal. One of the best places in Mississauga for cakes.
Great coffee and even better homemade pastries.
Best white chocolate bread in the town.
Wow.. what a great bakery!! The White Chocolate Rasberry Mousse cake is sublime. Macarons were a little less crispy than I like, but regardless, if if you love baked good, you will flip for this fantastic bakery.
Very nice baguettes, chocolatines and amandines. The amandines weren't too sweet, had plenty of sliced almonds on top and not greasy. The chocolatines were equally as tasty. Croissants were buttery, light and flaky. Well balanced, not greasy, not too sweet. Love that it doesn't try to overpower ones senses and allows for enjoying the simple deliciousness of buttery goodness to go along with coffee or tea.
Not remotely close to French style bread.
The red velvet cake was delicious! Called them and reserved the cake in advance, was very professional and reliable.
They have the best croissants!
Came from out of town; wanted to drink a good latte, ended up with dessert also. On the outside it looks like a basic storefront, but on the inside it's pretty classy and has a European vibe to it. The server was polite and friendly and very meek. The dessert was delicious and the latte and mocha my wife had were just as great. The best thing about this place, in addition to all the aforementioned points, was the extremely reasonable cost of such quality drinks and desserts. I don't usually write reviews, but this place was awesome. Will come back again some day, God willing.
Try the walnut bread. Tasty pastries. Our go to bakery in the area.
Looks great, odd gems, some stuff is old and not so tasty anymore. Staff seem not to have a labour of love....
Awesome lunch nook
BEst bakery in Mississauga. Real French techniques. Lunch is great on fresh bread with homemade soup.
Birthday treats... and great customer service from most people here. The young girl looked angry one day and decided to show me that face but I come here for the food so that was forgotten once I left with my box of goodies. Free parking and three entrances/ exits.
Amazing quaint place. You can go for really fresh pastries or their delicious cakes. We usually go for their cakes, their strawberry shortcake and their famous Desire cakes are full of fruit and are moist, delicious and amazing!
Macaroons, good croissants, and good coffee in a nondescript plaza in old Mississauga. Seems to be frequented by locals in the know. Setup is that of a small french patisserie so seating is limited but ample. The macaroons at $2 a piece was not bad. Service was friendly.
Very very yummy treats for any or no occasion. Tasty walnut bread and their tarts are amazing, especially mousses. I am a frequent customer there. Tried other bakeries in the area but none are as good as this one.
very friendly staff, and loads of great selection of food.
French pastries, croissants, bread, cookies, cakes they have it all just like Paris, France. The taste, presentation & skill is par excellence!
Would I Recommend - ✔ YES Would I Return - ✔ YES A great little cafe serving up Sandwiches Fresh Made Bread and Sweet Treats of which I've had the latter. ????The Carrot Cake was moist subtly spiced and the icing creamy smooth and with the right hint of tang. ????The Chocolate Orange mousse was light, and contained a very thin layer of orange marmalade and cake. Topped with a candied orange rind and chocolate piece. Orange and chocolate always go wonderfully together and this dessert did not disappoint. My personal preference would dictate a more intense, darker chocolate flavour but it was still a nice dessert and worth a try if you enjoy this flavour combo. ✅Other Features: -Dine in Seating - There are a few seats to enjoy your purchases but the place can get crowded pretty quickly (especially on weekends) so keep that in mind. -Free Parking -Wifi
Baked goods are made fresh every morning and they have never disappointed me
Absolutely adore this place! Great selection of pastries and cookies! The almond and hazelnut croissants are some of the best I’ve had. Above all, everything is halal! I keep coming back!
My husband got me my birthday cake and some pastries from this place. Everything was decadent and flavorful. My favorite was the apricot tart. Not overly sweet like most bakeries. Will definitely visit again.
Great place to sit down and enjoy a coffee
bad
Went there today very happy
Hands down the best croissants in Mississauga. They are buttery, soft, and flaky. This is my go to spot for them.
Such friendly service and omg sweets. Will be going there weekly
I ordered a desire cake and it was really wonderful. Thank you for a great birthday!
Adore this place. I felt in love with it from the first side. Desserts are amazing and I love it
Great selection of cakes. Gateau pieces taste amazing :) definitely going back there again
Amazing store with amazing products. Staff needs a little customer service training. They are hard to deal with... Frustrating at times...
If your a fan is freshly baked breads, crossants, and pastries you must visit this place.
I have been going this place for a while on the weekend they have the best Almost crescent. But if you go on week days there pastry is not fresh. One or two days old it doesn't test good. it's dry and nasty Avoid going on week Days. Also bad customer service.
Got their macaroons for my sisters birthday and she absolutely loved it. Very cute and clean spot. Everything looked amazing can’t wait to come back and try more items!
It is a good thing I live 500 miles away in Chicago because this place has real deal pastries and I would be big as a house. Their croissants are wonderful and the large assortment of fresh breads are fantastic. When in Mississauga make sure you stop in.
There macorons are pretty good and so is the pistachio mousse.
I have seen this place many times while passing by. It is in a small hidden place in a small plaza, but it is truly impressive how eating the pastries there stimulates the experience of eating pastries in france. They have a wide variety of pastries ranging from multiple flavours of macarons, 3" individuals 6" and 8" cakes and much more. The customer service there is pretty good too, and the ladies there were very friendly. It was very quiet and peaceful and a very good place to sit down with friends and chat, or even sit down with a laptop and work or even study. The place is very clean and well taken care of. I've never actually had lunch there, but the sandwiches and quiches look very tasty. They even have different soups every day. The coffee there is also incredible, very similar to Starbucks. I normally dont write reviews, but this is an exception this is truly the closest you'll ever get to france pastry wise and i definitely recommend that everyone try this hidden diamond. Will DEFINITELY come back 100%????????
Best bakery I've gone to in Canada!
This wonderful bakery has been around for years and it is a gem in Mississauga. The mall has gone through a major facelift last summer and it looks modern. I have been coming here off and on for years now. And I decided to drop in for some treats since I was picking up lunch at Katsuya right next door. One of their hidden gems are their sandwiches. Especially the Muffuletta sandwich. The fresh bread makes it over the top superb. Their croissants, danish, cake slices etc. are top notch. If you like butter, then you have come to the right place my friends. The service is always friendly, helpful and efficient. This another solid triple over the leaping Third baseman into the alley... Give them a try and let us all know what you think.
The best cakes in Misssissauga
Bluberry tea cake & mango mousse cake are all time favorite
Absolutely amazing!!!
Tasty ????
Great authentic French bakery. Their cakes are amazing!
Real Halal bakery and we loved each item we got - pastries, Danish roles , cream puffs, cakes
Love the small cakes
Yeah, we come with high expectations for a high review. However wrong order taken from coffee. The servant told that was your daughter order it ? And soon the panini came looks aweful because the toast soaked watery. Ask them why was that and answered they only serve panini like and refuse to re-do. Else order are okay but don't taste like the the review described. Very disappointed and will never return this shop.
My family and I have been coming here for over four years and have never been disappointed. I have always hated quiches, so when I bought one on a whim today (spinach and feta) i was expecting to give it to my husband but i think you've managed to convert me as it's deliciozut. Also, thank you so much to the lady serving me! You really brightened my day :)
Huge selections on pastry
Too expensive. Dessert was great though.
Gorgeous and yummy cakes!
Food is really good here going back soon
Have morning coffee with friends, nice cosy place, the almond croissants is very tasty Greay place
Some of the best French pastry ever! Fantastic bread too.
Best French bakery in Mississauga I've been to since living in Europe
Best Mango cheese cake
This cozy patisserie features a variety of sweets, pastries, and drinks. The staff were pleasant and patient. They do not rush you while you are browsing. The prices are a little high, but it's well worth it. Everything is made in-house (supposedly) and I'm inclined to believe them. For Thanksgiving, I wanted to bring some desserts and found this place through Google. I bought a dozen macarons of varying flavours and the Night and Day mousse cake, which is made of chocolate and vanilla. It was a gamble, as I never been to French Corner Patisserie before, but everyone praised how good it was! I'll definitely be back again to try out the rest of their pastries and sweets.
Always love it here. Their sandwiches are super tasty and comes with a salad also. I always get their caramel macchiato. Their pastry are always fresh.
Love the sweets! Long standing customer!
Stale desserts and a disgrace to the French name. Completely clueless staff.
I love the croissants! This place is a little gem, hidden where not a lot of people go which makes it all the more special. Lovely staff and so many good choices!
Fortunately, we found this delish French bakery & I mean real French assorted pastries, baked goods & breads. Having lived in France I know a bit about what French pastry should look & taste like! This bakery is the real thing!! We bought a boxful of goodies & they were ALL delicious! Unfortunately, we don't live close which is good for our cholesterol, but not far enough to visit again as it's def worth it! My photo shows what a croissant should look like inside!! Go here if u appreciate really good French pastry. As for the tall lady who served us she could have been a bit more patient with us when we were deciding to choose our goodies & correct me in a more pleasant manner when I got a certain pastry wrong. Service is just as important!
Great cakes and coffee
The BEST CROISSANTS. Real croissants. The desserts are spectacular. Gelato in the summer, cool little patio truly a hidden gem. My favourite! Don't forget to invite me when you go! :)
It has become a tradition for our family to get birthday cakes from here because they’re SO GOOD! And the pastries and mini baked goods are just as delicious
Great cakes, great service, grabbed some bread as well. I'm so glad it's still standing here the way it used to pre pandemic
The chocolate fudge cake looked and tasted amazing. They had a variety of macaroons, pastries, cakes, cookies and breads. Definitely coming back for more.
Great pastry.
I love this place. Their cake is so good! But I find the consistency might be a thing. Sometimes the sheets are really nicely baked; texture and flavor wise, but sometimes the texture is off and such :( But despite that, it's not a huge problem at all. My favorite is Pistachio cake and Tiramisu! If you ever have a chance to drop by, please do. Their bread section is amazing as well !
Fell in love with the place. Amazing desserts and reasonable prices. We will definitely be coming back. P.S. Milk Chocolate Passion fruit and Tiramisu are great
Amazing products and pastries!
Exquisite desserts for a great price! They also have focaccia and other pastries, I recommend the tomato and cheese one. Close to UTM and a nice place to sit and eat.
Love the croissants!!! Almond, butter, chocolate, chocolate raspberry - amazing cakes all around best bakery
great patisserie! love the croissants and coffee
Excellent quality of baked goods.
Best Almond Croissants ????????
Top shelf pastries and bread. Have not tried lunch menu. Very expensive and totally worth it. Recommended
Amazing place. I wish I could try everything. The pastries and breads are to die for. Friendly staff and great service. Price is comparable to bakeries but with better quality.

Literally the best croissants ever!!
Amazing pastries! They're so beautiful and delicious. They're all made in-house.
Nice to see people are working and serving halal .. these guys are appreciable... tried their iced coffee which was too disappointing to have.. other bakery items are good
Tasty baked goods. Not a huge selection as shown in the pictures. Mediocre service without a smile
I enjoy their patisseries but the price of the coffee and tea is Horrendous...the small cup holds about a third of a regular coffee anywhere else. They really should address this as we all know the high percentage mark up of coffee and tea already. Also, one tea bag does any size, how much can a little more hot water cost?
Fresh and good pastries
Expensive
The best pastries i have had in the Gta. A bit pricey but so delicious
The pastries are excellent and the assorted cookies are a must try. Polite and quick service as well
Love the bakery, best macarons.
Been going here for years and I’m never ever disappointed
Great pastries ! Nice cozy place for afternoon desserts !
Very disappointed. I pre-ordered a Mango CHEESECAKE for my daughter’s birthday. On the day of my daughter’s birthday, after dinner, we and guests ate the cake, it was not a Mango CHEESECAKE, it was a Mango MOUSSE CAKE! Can’t believe it, how could this mistake have happened – Staff and kitchen? Don’t know…MY RECEIPT PRINTED:” CHEESECAKE”. I called the next day to let them know that they made a wrong cake for me, only one word: “Sorry”, this was it! With the money I paid for the cake, the quality wasn’t that great plus they mess up my order. Will I need to cut the cake to check if my order is correct???
Excellent coffee, very smooth. Excellent croissant. The store has a wide variety of breads, pastries and desserts.
Get place! So fancy lol the cakes are so pretty and yummy. I bout a chocolate cake which my boyfriend loved but I was not a fan of as the top layer had a marshmallow texture. The price of the care was not bad either, $18 for a medium sized cake (serving 8 slices)
My wife absolutely loves their chocolate and almond croissants. We live right around the corner so we enjoy going by on the weekends, they have an excellent group of staff. BONUS: Try the tomato or potato focaccia, you won't regret it!
Macaroons, fresh breads and desserts are really good. You can tell the owner takes prides in the work. Bought two cakes so far and they were fantastic. The red velvet and strawberry shortcake were some of the best I've ever had.
Tried almond criossant, cardamom bun, macarons and king's cake. The cardamom bun was great and my favorite. Almond criossant was good but I've had better ones. The macarons were too sweet for me.. They're a bit smaller than regular macarons. Overall good place. I will definitely try more stuff. They also have indoor seats available but closed due to restrictions.
Excellent French pastry. Great cakes. Reasonable prices.
Great sandwiches
Horrible service and not real French. Coffee horrible and grill cheese not melted, hard as a rock. Accompanied by a wilted salad. Never again!
Dessert cakes were goood
Good relaxing place
Great French pastries. You will be coming back for more! :)
I had the nuttella croissant and it was meh and was a bit overbaked. The coffee meh. Really not worth taking pictures of. The quiche was good. The cakes are good though and very pretty
Good raspberry mousse cake, wouldn't have thought i would like it so much.
Delicious French pastries!
I picked up various items for a brunch I was hosting. From butter croissants to almonds croissants and sticky buns. I have to admit the almond croissants were by far my favorite. I'm so happy I discovered this bakery.
Croissants are amazing!
if i could come here everyday and get a chocolate croissant, i would (some days i do haha) Not only are the croissants AMAZING, but the rest of their sweets are just as good too. I've tried 2 of their cakes and a couple small mousse cups and they are mouth wateringly delicious. This is definitely an underrated place. they have reasonable prices and their pastries are comparable to ones i've had in Europe.
Great selection, awesome products, good service.
No pictures because I ate my almond croissant so fast ???? absolutely delicious. Less one star because it came out to almost $8 for 2
One of my favourite bakeries in GTA. Amazing croissants, sourdough and cakes.
What a treasure to have their breads, croissants...cakes all made on the premise and you don’t have to fly to France. Miss not been able to sit indoors! Service is efficient and kind. If I had a special request re something I remember from France, the next time I’m in the bakery it is available. What a treasure in Mississauga.
Amazing Olive Bread and very friendly staff
Actually the BEST patisserie in Mississauga. Also had the chocolate crossant (pain au chocolat) and it was the best I had so far in GTA. The mousse were all well made soft but not watery at all. All the chocolat based ones were not too sweet so you could finish one in a spot. Strongly recommend if you live in Mississauga and don't want to travel all the way downtown for decent desserts!
Very tasty cake
Food here is great, the desert is well made. I have recommended this place to family and friends who were not disappointed.
I have been purchasing Strawberry short cake with real cream at this store for many many years. The cream was always creamy and soft and the sponge cake was always moist and fresh. Today I picked up my order but this time The cream was not not as soft as before and the sponge cake was dry. I asked why it looked different from all the other Strawberry short cakes I usually pick up and they told me it was a new look. I was very disappointed as I drove all the way from Brentford.
High quality products, not to sweet.
One of the best places to buy halal cakes. Love their croissants n baguettes goo.
Cafe Au Lait was meh! .. but the pastries were amazing. Highly recommended the ???? tarts, ???? danish and almond croissants.
Wonderful place for lunch with exquisite breads and pastries.
Fantastic butter tarts!
This is my go-to for fresh baked bread and nice afternoon coffee.
My daughter and I dropped in for a coffee to check out this bakery. It took us 10 minutes to select our pastry choice to accompany our coffee, the selection is that extensive. The house coffee is superb and the service is friendly and prompt. We will certainly return!
Very nice place to relax, great coffee, sandwiches and pastries
Excellent pasteries and breads. Best croissants in Mississauga. Always fresh and delicious. Bread is exceptional. Large selection of REAL desserts.
OMG! This place is amazing. The pastries always look amazing and the bursting taste is always reflective of the attention they put in to creating these delicious decendants from the french baking gods!
Fantastic quality of baked treats and sandwiched and the service is awesome too. Probably the best bakery in the GTA.
I got some croissants and it was delicious. Buttery and flakey. Its 15 min drive from my home but it was worth it.
Went in the mid afternoon to pick up pastries. Their pastires have always been quite fresh but this time they tasted old and stale and certainly not worth their rather expensive prices. I suspect due to limited demand caused by covod lockdowns reduces turnover. Its not an easy problem to solve, I guess, because they are trying to provide variety with hard to determine demand during this time. But the experience has been a turn off and I will try other places until loxkdown restrictions are completely lifted and demand and turnover of pastries returns.
Cinnamon buns and danishes are top notch.
Absolutely not vegan but it is the best French Patisserie in GTA West
One of a kind pastry. Very friendly staff. Lastly, the chocolate danish was pretty good. Thanks.
Pricey, but great bread, baguettes and pastry.
Tried croissant and some desserts. They were alright. Some of their cakes looked beautiful, done looked garish
Lovely little patisserie in Mississauga with flaky croissants, baguettes and an assortment of desserts.
Good food
Love this place! My Favourite cafe& croissant place
Freshly baked products & variety of colorful & tempting pastries, tarts & cakes at reasonable prices. Both plain & chocolate croissants were so fresh that everyone loved them. We tried various pastries and all were excellent. Tiramisu was soft & delicious, Trio Chocolate Mousse looked as good as it tasted, Choc Hazelnut Tart was fresh & wonderful and Chocolate Eclairs was also great. The interior is nice and clean and gives the feeling of an old town bakery. It was a great first visit for us. We are definitely going back to try out more stuff.
Smells as good as it tastes! Great selection and very fresh
Service was ok but the fresh food!
Love coming to meet friends. Love the food and great desserts. Love the bread. Love the coffee.
Great selection and variety. Coffee cup sizes are small. Would recommend getting the largest size if you go.
I love this place the croissants are so fresh and food is good I just wished they had bigger place it is nice to sit and enjoy a good french croissant I have it rated 4 stars because staff are not really friendly not all I just hate to point out the not friendly ones. My Favorite croissant is Almond.
We bought a Bday Cake from them recently. Easily one of the tastiest cake I ever had in my life. Macaroons had a homemade touch to it unlike the typical taste from Highland farms which we loved.
Very affordable price compared to other French Pâtisserie boutiques. High quality croissants, delicious camomile tea. Two entremet cakes were OK. I would prefer a little bit more of bisquit insert, and maybe of different kind: daquoise, joconde.
I've been looking for a real European quality bakery in Mississauga for many years. Tried many Italian and Portugeese bakeries around - they were ok, but lacking that fine taste. Here I loved almond croissants and raspberry pastry the most. Bread is delicious too. Other pastries I tried so far are on par, just not my favorites (and I am very picky). Discovered this place 2 months ago and already went many times. Please keep this quality!
Nice people, tasty French delicacies. Great guava macaron (my favourite). Soups & quiche are fresh and well prepared
Superb. The Ambience, the menu, the taste, the staff - simply too good
This place is awesome Highly recommended
The Olive bread is to die for!
Good customer service, mostly everything is fresh, like to go there.
Quality is very low here. Cakes used to be good but now seems to be pre-frozen or factory made as they just taste so bland. The strawberries on the strawberry shortcake weren't fresh, the cream was lacking, the bread part was slightly burnt and dry, which really sticks out in a cake like that. Extremely disappointed, as I've come to this store on several occasions, and this is not a one off. Especially for the $42 price tag the cake had. I have been here for my parents birthdays, and other special occasions, but this is the last time. Save your money and time and go to a superstore instead, cause this is nothing special nor a 'local bakery' as they might want you to think.
These guys are criminally good! Service was awesome, girl at the counter was new at the job but she answered all my questions. This birthday cake was just so goooooood, so far the best place. I’m going go for the red velvet next time.
Great coffee and snacks
My wife and I visited this place for breakfast. The ambience was nice. We went around 9:30, and it wasn’t too busy yet, which was nice. We took our 1 yr old kid with us. No high chair available, however we managed. This would be our only suggestion for them. Coming to the food, the veggie panini was very nice. We also had the chocolate croissant, raspberry danishes and macarons (chocolate and salted caramel). Everything was delicious. Coffee and Cappuccino were nice too but quantity was less for the price. Overall it was a pleasant experience!!
Highly recommend...quality pasteries for a reasonable price
This used to be my go-to for Macarons. They were always fresh. The last 2 times however, they were stale.
This is my most favorite bakery for special bread. No body can beat their chocolate mousse cake.
Great staff with warm welcome and good the quality compared to usual Canadian products but as a real French it's still far from the real French taste and the prices are very high. 2.70$ for one croissant! It's cheaper and better in Paris...
Dessert Heaven with the nicest staff! Valentines day dessert date with my daughter couldn't have been more scrumptious
Tried their focaccia today, really good stuff.
So good
I just love the French corner patisserie. They never disappoint. Best carrot cake I have ever tried :).
Excellent selection of bread. The pastries (although I can't eat most) are loved by the rest of my family.
Love their crossiants and chocolate cake. Their pastries are not my type though. The chocolate cake is so good that every event I've brought it to, everyone has asked where it's from and have actually purchased it themselves too.
Had the worst lunch ever. Sandwich had only one thin and dry slice of Turkey. Salad of shredded iceberg lettuce had only tinny bit of cucumber. The broccoli quiche was all dried up like it was a week old. The macaroon had little flavor and the tea cup was so small. Also had poor service. Would not recommend you eat lunch here.
Best croissants in town. Very good breads. Huge pastry and cake selection.
Nice staff... but sometimes you have to make sure to speak to someone alert on the phone to place your order. I placed my custom order in the morning then when i got there in evening someone said that they forgot to place the order. I spoke to someone that had a struggle speaking english. Their cakes are amazing and well done worth the over pricing. And their bread is amazing. Specially the one with olives inside.
WOW. I DISCOVERED THE BEST SWEET STORE IN MISSISSAUGA...
Excellent cakes, delicious coffe an breads. Customers service efficient
Well chosen ingredients and freshness makes all the difference???? Perfect espresso Pastries are not too sweet or heavy Natural ingredients makes 45 min drive from East end worth every bite
Strawberries in the cake was FROZEN SOLID
Authentic French patisserie. Loved it.
The freshest baked goods with a warm anbience
I am French (from France) so I can honestly say that the bread and viennoiseries (croissant, chocolatine...) are good. The almond croissant can improve, it’s a bit small and dry, not enough almond filling. I really enjoy the walnut loaf. I still have to try the pastries.
Overall good pastries.
Ive been coming here for over 5 years now and though the food is good, they really need to figure out their inventory supply and demand. For the last few months, every time ive come here theyve been out of pesto, coffee machines not working, latte flavors are out of stock..and now they are out of all sauces including ketchup.... i mean come on
Spinach and cheese turnover is HEAVENLY ????✨???? flaky, crispy, tasty Best one I ever had????????
Ingredients needs to be improved and if sweetness can be reduced a bit wud be better
Authentic and excellent quality.
Amazing, everything here is really good. Love the macarons
Best Patisserie in whole of Ontario...you would love the croissants , fresh bread and a big spread of pastries to die for ????????
Great experience. Delicious pasteries. Love the desserts
I like this place. Delicious treats and nice staff.
Fresh bakery and great customer service.
I discovered this hidden gem today, and so happy that I did!!! I tried the butter croissant, chocolate croissant and the tomato/cheese focaccia. They were all AMAZING - super fresh, flaky and buttery. This is the closest you are going to get to a Parisienne croissant. The service was very friendly and efficient. The prices are very good, definately get value for your money. Give this bakery a try, you will not be disappointed!!
My go to place for croissants, cakes, and bread. The almond are a must try!
Excellent choice on French pastries
Cute bakery (macarons are good, found croissants to be too eggy)
Awesome French Patisserie in Mississauga! Tried several of their pastries and cakes and most were not a letdown in taste and presentation My favourite from here has to be the mousses and especially the raspberry mousse! It is sooooo good! Tiny bites and slowly savouring the taste! The pistachio one would be my second choice I did recently try their almond croissant One of the best almond croissants I had Hope they keep the quality consistent as i will definitely return back again and again Just wish they would update their website as its design is very dated back to something made in the late 90s/early 2000s and clearly hasn't been touched in years Be nice to show customers what they offer in general :)
Good pastries but very expensive.
Excellent croissants. Real deal.
Very nice
Wonderful pastry, great service disappointing patio.
Good dessert on the go
Friendly staff, fresh pastries and bread... totally recommended
I have always loved this bakery, whenever I get a chance I always come here for some goodies. Every time we come here the staff has always been very great and friendly. But today in particular, one guy when I asked for just a little bit more steamed milk in my cappuccino he told me in a very condescending tone that a cappuccino was supposed to have “just espresso and all foam”. I didn’t complain about the cappuccino, I just want it a little bit of steamed milk. So he ended up adding EXTRA HOT milk all the way to the top of the cup, overflowing the foam
Ordered a cheesecake, a tiramisu, and a chocolate hazlenut croissant. All tasted dry and old. Maybe they are good when fresh?
Superb!
If you want to win over a girls heart, buy some baked goods from here. This place has always came through for me, whether it's a birthday, anniversary, or Valentine's day. You simply can't go wrong here, and your special someone will love you for it.
Best bakery in Mississauga. Also halal and Muslim owned as a bonus.
Good.good and good that all i can say.
Out of this world! The best always.......
So yummy!
Used to go every weekend for specialty bread on weekends was amazing now the bread is way over baked tried to ask for a manager and same excuses that the manager is not available and that there are new bakets on the weekend ?? Poor service
I've been going to french corner patisserie for years and even though the quality of the pastries haven't changed, the breads are still very fresh and chocolate moose cake decadent. Customer service is pretty bad . Servers are rude and unprofessional barely a smile and it's so hard to hear them speak as they even barely open their mouths.
Cups are stubby and prices are expensive.
cute decor and the food is so tasty. great prices too. my first job ever was actually here as a barista, such a welcoming environment and the staff are so supportive to each other and customers alike !
The Croissants are always worth the drive and the setup and service lends is self to always buying more treats for the family.
Fantastic croissants, breads and pastries. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Love this place!
First of all their croissants are burnt. Coffee comes in a tiny cup and is overpriced. I ordered a tall caramel macchiato which is listed on their sign as $2.95 for a tall and $3.95 for a grande. The cashier charged me $3.95 and I told her that she made a mistake, that I ordered a tall and the sign says $2.95. All she responded was "no it's $3.95." I told her that she should update her sign then to which she ignored me. My coffee cost me $3.95 plus tax and it was basically equivalent to a Starbucks short cup (cups used for espresso). Extremely overpriced, even more so than Starbucks and it is not comparable to Starbucks. Cashier was also extremely rude and looked unhappy from the moment we walked in.
Best croissant ever! Rasberry chocolate mosse is good too.
The breads are amazing! The croissants are out of this world! So fresh and great variety
Best pastries, special coffees and bread im Mississauga! And they serve lunch!
Fresh pastries and bread nice place to sit down and enjoy a morning treat
Great bakery with fresh tasting pastries. Love their almond croissants and carrot cake!
their cakes and bread and everything is just SO GOOD, such a nice little bakery
Great pastries, good variety and splendid, helpful staff.
Very disappointed. I am a French guy and tried to the owner and talk to him in French. Actually nobody is a French speaker there. We bought several croissants, pain au chocolat, almond croissant and many other bakeries. They were not really good. Very disappointed. Even the French bakery in Lindsay Ontario is a lot better.
Good coffee, very good walnut bread, love the new decor:)
French corner is a nice place for pastries and baking goods but I am extremely disappointed at the hygiene of this place. Mr.Yusef, you as an owner of a place that deals with food should know better to clean the disgusting washroom of your store. I was at your store today and had to wash my hands. As a health care professional i can't begin to express my disappointment when seeing the door, walls and sink of your washroom. By the looks of things no one has touched this filty door and dirt up wall in years.Hiring someone to clean up the washroom might cost you some change but having a good hygiene goes a long way when you deal with food.
Good selection of cakes, pastry, macaron and even sandwiches! The taste of the delicacies never failed to amaze me! Muslim friendly for being overall clean and halal! Cool place to hang out and talk with friends cuz they have fairly enough tables and chair. I will always come here to treat myself,
Excellent
Amazing selection of pastries, cakes, and bread! It it always exciting to try all of the desserts they have as all are delicious!
we got pistachio mousse was amazing
I goggled for a birthday cake in Mississauga; especially wanted a mousse cake. Reading some reviews, I decided to go to the French Corner Patisserie and buy a Raspberry White Chocolate cake. It was fabulous. All my guests agreed it tasted like fresh raspberries with the right amount of sweet and sour, mousse and sponge cake. Absolutely delicious. I'll be visiting this bakery more often now.
I would say, this is the best French bakery in GTA.
Best bakery in Mississauga!
Great croissants. The best I have had.as well they have a lot of other baked goods
Great coffee and fresh pastries and soups and sandwiches.
Best patisserie so far with its wide selection of European cakes
Usually pretty low key, a nice place to study that's away from campus. Their croissants are the best I've had so far, and they got new display cabinets for their desserts.
Best crossaints
Great cakes, croissants and bread. Fresh and well made. Really enjoy them all. Will be back again!
Amazing!!! The bear claws are the best pastry I have ever had in my life. Its basically a breaded pastry with pistachio filling. It tasted absolutely amazing! They have a huge selection of cakes. I bought a pistachio cake (can you tell I like pistachio haha) for my wife's birthday. She loved it!! The owner is also very friendly and approachable. I think his name was Yousiif. They also have really nice soups and sandwiches. I liked the smoked beef panini and the chicken sweat-potato pie.
High quality bread and pastry, makes for a great lunch in a quaint setting.
The pastry is always delicious, price for cakes is reasonable.
Authentically Delicious Butter Croissant, Almond Croissant & Viennoiseries ! Many more yummy things to try ... Miam miam !
Customer service needs much improvement. Maybe it was the young teens not taking the cake presentation seriously. It was odd they broke out into laughter when preparing it, they said it was an inside joke. The letter writing on the cake had spelling mistakes that were evident but we realized it only when cake was presented to the person’s special day. Overall, Very unprofessional service and and we will never visit the store again.
Pretty good desserts. No complaints!
Their cookies are not very good. I bought both their molasses and chocolate chip cookie. They make them taste like cake ... not what I was expecting. I was rather disappointed
Best bread ever, walnuts and raisins, pastries to die for
Everything tasted delicious and fresh! The croissants are the best I've had in Mississauga so far, I wish they had more varieties! The reason I gave 4/5 was because the customer service was not the best. It felt like we were rushed and they were trying to take multiple orders at the same time, so other customers would interrupt us and it would cause confusion. Otherwise all good :)
Good options, great taste! Staff could have been more pleasant to deal with.
Their pastries are good. Gave 3 stars as I wish they were less sweet or they had a section of low sugar cakes & pastries.
GREAT BAKERY WITH WONDERFUL SELECTIONS. WE WERE INSPIRED BY THIS WEEKS FORMULA 1 RACE BEING HELD IN FRANCE TO TRY SOME LOCAL FRENCH PASTRIES. ONE OF MY NEW FAVORITE SPOTS IN MISSISSAUGA!
Great pastries
Sticky bun was dry and pastries looked stale.
I love walnut bread ???? so delicious
I love the pastries here. Great service as well.
All the things are good.
Always great.
A lovely escape to enjoy all the food and environment of being in a cafe in France. The lunch special sandwich and salad so delicious. The sandwich is so large it's good to split with a friend. We always make purchases from the day old shelf to take home. A hidden gem the positive reviews are very true!!
The best croissants in Mississauga!
Cozy and great place for meet up...I love pasetries they are less sweet than any where else
Best croissants in GTA!! Very good bread and amazing pastries and cakes!
