REVIEWS OF Daddy O Doughnuts & British Baked Goods IN Mississauga

The best donuts in the GTA. Nothing else compares. These donuts are well worth the price and the drive. The owner is exceptional and pours her heart into the business - the end product shows it. A must try spot!

Kris Han

Not bad: still can’t beat a Krispy Kreme donut, IMHO but otherwise good. These donuts are on the heavy side but are soft and not too sweet. A tad expensive at $3.25 /ea however they have vegan options which taste practically the same as the non-vegan versions when fresh.

Jody Lynn Boyd

Amazing donuts...by far the best in missisauga area! Always fresh and so many unique flavors to chose from which rotate and change monthly usually. Friendly staff and owners who always give the best customer service. They also have a few other baked goodies such as eccles, meringue pops, shortbread, scones, fritters, sauage rolls, cornish pastys and cookie pies. They also have a small grocery section with somespreads ,unique chocolates and dtinks. Great atmosphere, a couple tables to sit at inside. Good size parking lot.

Vegan doughnuts for regular people! I wondered aloud how different the vegan doughnuts tasted from the 'regular' ones. I got a chocolate-hazelnut-filled doughnut to try and it was AMAZING! I would not have known it was vegan. I got a half dozen to take home, including more chocolate hazelnut, carrot cake and vegan coconut cake. My favourite was the coconut! One of the best coconut cake doughnuts I've had. Great little shop. Not much left just before closing on a Sunday evening, as you might expect. But the service was wonderful. Eat them as fresh as you can. (As with all doughnuts, I guess.)

Christina Quach

Daddy o doughnuts have amazing staple and rotating flavors each month. The strawberry cheesecake was a huge YES, great flavour and not so sweet. Hidden in a little lowkey plaza, daddy o doughnuts is such a gem! If you're going in the morning, prepare to wait in line or perhaps call in a head of time.

Mandy

Delicious gourmet doughnuts in Mississauga! They have a great selection to choose from and vegan options too. Tried a selection of Oreo, Reese, and chocolate doughnuts! Check them out if you’re looking for a great dessert option in the area! ????????

Dan John

Easily the best donuts I've ever had. Are they a bit pricey? Yes. Are they worth it? Hell yes. The location makes it a bit difficult to find, and it's not exactly a picturesque area, but who cares. That's not what you're there for. Just go now and drool.

Irene OBrien

Went out of my way to find it as I'd heard good things. It was worth the drive. The carrot cake donut was a thing of beauty to behold and eat. The stuffed kitkat donut was beyond fabulous. Worth every penny. OMG.

Kristina T

Best place to get vegan donuts. They’re always moist, probably because they don’t sit on the shelf all day!

R J

The coffee cake doughnut was raw inside that I could literally stretch the dough. The ferro rocher bob was the best in my opinion. The doughnuts were OK overall, but some seemed to be very oily and smelled like it has been sitting out for quite a bit even though I visited at noon, and some were RAW inside.

Zeyad Andrew Hady

This place is like heaven for doughnut connoisseurs I love the selection of doughnuts they have also the staff is extremely friendly helpful and patient. They've also got savoury treats as well. Great all around bakery not just your average doughnut shop

Tareq Tayeh

Probably one of the best donuts I have had in my life, if not the best. I got the vegan carrot cake and the oreo stuffed donuts, and they were both mouthwatering. I can't wait for my next trip around the area! Edit: Came here again last week, and the doughnuts somehow became even more delicious. Now I am completely certain that this place has the best doughnuts I've ever had in my life.

Caroline Godin

Fantastic donuts from this little shop. Inventive flavours and friendly staff. They also have a great supply of British pantry staples like chocolate, crisps, tea and the like. Worth the drive. Be smart, order the day before and prepay online to risk arriving to a sell out.

Natasha Mathew

love that they have so many vegan options, the creme brulee doughnut is divine. a bit pricey for doughnuts (vegan ones are generally $4-5) but it's a great treat!

Jonathan

I went in with the idea to purchase just one to cure my craving of sweets. After seeing the selection of doughnuts behind the glass I couldn't resist and I walked out with six. While writing this review I have only eaten one out for the half dozen. If the other five are a quarter as good as the one I have just eaten then I'll be in trouble and I will have some excercises to do in the morning. Will be back.

Paulina S

Daddy O's never disappoints. Line up or not, so worth it. Donuts are on point. The best part is that even on the 3rd day it still tastes good. Honestly, you may need to micro it for several seconds but that is it. Will definitely be a forever customer!

Dena Mattson

While expensive, I really enjoyed the selection of delicious (and quite large) donuts they have available. You can tell when you bite into them that they are freshly made, and while I thought that the icing to donut ratio was off (with the simpson donut), but the sweetness of the icing and the softness of the donut go so well together! I really like that they have vegan donuts as well and really experiment with their flavours! Excited to try more in the future

Aret Mazmanyan

The amount of variety was unbelievable, including vegan types of doughnuts. The superstar was the vegan Carrot Cake. Simply delicious! Can't wait back to go again.

Hangry. Spice

Oh my goodness.. I completely forgot how delicious these donuts are. I wish they were closer. Each flavor is distinct, the dough isn't too doughy or too airy. My faves, maple bacon, fried peanut butter cup, and coffee cake! I need more.

Sunny K

I’m in LOVE with the Homer Simpson donut! These donuts are soooo good. Perfect for Sunday’s cheat day ????

Vaughan Waison

Enjoy the doughnuts on occasion. Too expensive to have it regularly. Vegan options are great for my wife. Front counter staff could be friendlier/helpful instead of just staring you down waiting to make a decision. Would be a nice touch to maybe make suggestions of any new ones or have u tried these they are my fav. Sort of deal. I'm in the customer service industry and I appreciate it when there is some sort of interaction beyond the payment

Nicole “Sea You Later” Roberts

Great donuts, no question. Their delivery participation with food service apps (DoorDash) is lack lustre at best...no consistency in hours of delivery...have had my order cancelled several times after bakery had confirmed the online order with no call or follow up from the bakery...note the online orders are for an average of $150 for large group, one would think a small business would take the 2 minutes to follow up...3 stars as the product is amazing...customer service and consistency in store hours, not so much.

Sarah Smith

Tasty but pricey! Not much selection when we went, but the ones we got were pretty good. They were a little expensive (as donut shops tend to be these days) but some of them were pretty big!

Kamil Ahmed

I had been craving gourmet donuts for months. Homemade experiments during pandemic just didn’t cut it. Did a quick search around Mississauga as I moved back recently and found this place. Definitely not my last visit. Fantastic donuts of premium quality. Great variety with vegan + GF choices too! Bought a dozen and while some may say the price point is steep, after taking a bite, it makes perfect sense to me. Awesome not-too sweet frosting and jellies, rich but airy dough and scrumptious fresh toppings. Thank you Daddy O for becoming my new donut daddy!

Karolina J

Love this place! Its a small shop that sells the best doughnuts in Mississauga. (Vegan doughnut selection available daily!!!) Love the decor & the fact that the staff add an old-school diner-ish kinda flare with outfits/ bandannas. I have been here twice and both times was happy with the service & doughnuts. Really cute place! Faves: Creme Brule, Skor, Pumpkin Spice, Apple fritter...all of the are great thou!

Gabe Bucoy

Cute little doughnut shop in a very hidden location. Their selection is very interesting and taste pretty good too! My favourite so far was the maple and bacon doughnut (I was a little hesitant on trying it, but I am glad I picked it). They are on the pricier end of how much doughnuts will cost (~$18 for half a dozen), but still worth a try! The staff is friendly and give good suggestions about which doughnuts are most popular and which they like as well. The shop itself is very small, not much space to eat, but most people seem to just takeout anyways. Highly recommend! I will definitely be back if I am ever in the area again!

Teresa Nguyen

I've visited 2 times already and am really impressed with their donuts - so nice and fluffy but not too sure about their other stuff as I haven't tried it! Service was really nice and helpful as well. They always have exciting new stuff every month so you can find a flavour to please everyone. A little pricey but its expected as these donuts are homemade - about $20 for 6 donuts depending if you get the premium donuts (Although they have a really nice deal of paying no taxes when you purchase 6 donuts). Definitely a must-try in Mississauga

Donuts are delicious and totally worth the wait, but the female owner has very poor customer service. I placed an order for pickup. No responses to My Questions. Time of pickup wasn’t given until morning of despite requesting a morning pickup and paying for the order weeks ahead of time. She almost ruined my baby’s first birthday- donut themed because she didn’t take the time to respond to my entire email in the first place. I used to rave about this place to my friends but since then I rarely go. Don’t bother placing orders with them. You’re better off lining up outside to get your donuts.

Lindsay James

Both times I've gone have been the same experience. Amazing flavors and always fresh. Dough is very soft and you can tell they use High quality ingredients. Peanutbutter jelly was my fave!

ATS 555

Having a sweet tooth and around the Mississauga area, this is the place to go to. Cute little donut shop located on North Side road selling quality donuts. Thicker than your usual donut. Filled with flavor in every bite. I've been here a couple of times now. My favorite donut thus far the Homer or Marge. During special events they have speciality donuts. Look out for that. In one of my photos you'll see the Raptors Championship donut they created.

Afnan

The doughnuts are amazing and so soft and delicious. Staff seem uninterested and have a dry attitude. But I love the donuts

Kris Buzmion

One of the best doughnut places I've tried!! Not too sweet, fresh and just perfect balance in every bite! This is my first time to try these amazing doughnuts, given by a friend, and it a game changer! Definitely will be visiting and buying more of these and will be trying all flavors. By far this strawberry and lotus donuts impressed me! ????

Sarosh Malik

Was on my list of donut shops to try and it did not disappoint. The dough has a real nice chewy consistency and the toppings are not overly sweet, which I love. I tried the cardamom & sugar, chocolate dip with sprinkles, and double chocolate (cake donut). Although I am a yeast donut fan the cake donut didn’t disappoint either. Deliciously crafted donuts worth a try from everybody.

Manj Deol

OMG. These donuts are the perfect 'heaviness'. Light and fluffy with the perfect amount of sugar. I like that they're fried but not super oily. My favourite by far is the CARROT CAKE. The HOMER Simpson is incredibly simple, yet delicious too. The only drawback is that the location is FARRRRR from my home in Brampton and they are a bit pricey, but it's because of the good quality ingredients. Enjoy- you will NOT be disappointed! Tim's is garbage. Yuck! This is heaven :)

Aaron T

My wife said we need to come try this doughnut shop out and plus it's close to home so why the heck not. It's in a really small plaza just on N service road near Cawthra. As the name suggests they mainly sell doughnuts and are decorated very nice. We decided to order a dozen which is $36, yes I know not your Tim Hortons or Krispy Kreme price but they don't taste like the average doughnut either. Tastes great and made daily in house. The girl there said they normally open up at 9 on Wednesday to Saturday, Tuesday and Sunday they open at 10 closed on Mondays. They also serve British bakery items but said they should be ordered ahead as it is not something they make daily. Oh and not all the flavors are always available as they sell out quick. They also limit you to no more than 6 of the same flavor doughnut, if you want more than that you must call 24H in advance to place a special order.

Vee Hope S

First of all...the customer service was delightful. She was so helpful. I love how the actual donut tastes amazing. The additional toppings?! Fantastic. My favourite would have to be the Strawberry Shortbread. I truly love this place. My weakness is donuts and this place I'd visit everyday.

Roberto Martinez

First time here. Heard lots of good things about it from co-workers and friends. Donuts are around 3$ each, but they are all made in house not just heated up. Got 4 donuts, they were all delicious and I really like the dough they used. Service was friendly and patience as I tried to figure out which flavors to try out

Avery

I love their donuts. It's cute and yummy. Be sure to check out their IG for menu (changes month to month) and limited-edition releases (e.g. Father's day donut). There's no delivery service, however, it's probably better this way because I don't wanna be heavier than I already am. Lol.

Peter Dohnal

Great place for creative and delicious donuts. Been back numerous times after discovering and got some other people hooked on them too.

Prabhakar Annadurai

A Cozy little corner shop with a surprising variety of donuts and treats. Staff was very friendly and the donuts were super fresh, tasty , fluffy and filled with amazing flavours . Price was a little high but can't really complain as the quality of the product was very good. Will definitely be back when I am in the area.

Kyle Murphy

Small little bakery could use some work and maybe open up in a larger spot. With the right marketing this place could explode! Definitely the best doughnuts that I have tried so far. The flavors were so hard to choose from so we ordered 12 and could have got more. Dough is slightly more moist and chewy than most other places and the and the flavor is even better. Their original holds up, but some of the other flavors like Oreo, Homer, and carrot cake are awesome. The list goes on, but I’d like to see a couple more filled ones. We will be back, and I doubt this will be topped!

Diana CB

I do not want to share this donut place with anybody there snacks are much too delicious and you should never ever go there turn around. Whatever you heard ignore it, they do not have Yummy Donuts they're absolutely Delicious!!!! Daddy-o Doughnuts what have you done

Tamon Gittens

The only thing I regretted today ordering from this place was not ordering 2 dozen donuts. I tried their donuts about 3 years ago, and today was my 2nd time and they are still amazing. Most delicious donuts in the GTA, and I would drive an hour for them. Highly recommended!!!

michelle kania

Great selection and quality of donuts. I will definitely be back and this place became a new favorite. My mum tried mincemeat tarts for the first time and loved them. Highly recommend.

Nichola Chan

Great selection and variety of quality donuts. (Vegan, to non vegan, regular donut and cake donuts). The dough felt a bit too oily and too heavy for our liking. We got 2 donuts each and that was more than enough to fill our bellies.

S R

This place is such a gem! Always a pleasure and seamless process to pre order the donuts in advance. Sarah is most helpful and prompt in responding. We always come here for donuts, such a treat!

Martin Zuk

Delicious doughnuts in the Mississauga area. Dangerous to have doughnuts this good close to home! We got an assortment and enjoyed them all. Can't wait to go back and try more!

Jess

Amazing doughnuts! Just the doughnut itself is delicious the toppings are a bonus. Consider yourself lucky if you find a Homer or Marge doughnut, they sell out fast. Actually everything sells out fast. The vegan options are out of this world amazing, the stuffed oreo is so good and the coconut cake. They are all amazing

Abu N

Tucked away in the corner of a plaza, but filled with a tons of amazing delicious donuts. The dough is very soft, and just melts in your mouth, and the donuts are not overly sweet. There are plenty of options available, and the donuts are always fresh. The prices are reasonable, and they do have a couple of tables in their seating area, but it's more a grab to go place. Highly Recommended!

Amber Insanity

Drove all the way from Caledon to try these "amazing" Donuts. They were okay. You can find better donuts in downtown Toronto. The employees at Daddy O Donuts could seriously use some customer service skills. Walked into the store and said "hi" to the young woman at the front and she looked directly into my eyes and said nothing. Not to mention the older woman behind her could not be bothered to say hello or look in our direction. Guess these people have never heard of customer service. They should go online and take some customer service courses (they're free) if they want to retain repeat customers. As the customer, I owe you nothing and saying "hello, how are you" is the easiest, most basic form of customer service. Needless to say I'll never be going back. Good day.

Renee Chu

Would definitely get the homer and marge donuts, it’s like having a birthday cake. The Oreo cheesecake is so so interesting and YUMMY! Never had a donut like that before.

Tharmila Rajasingam

Super yummy! FRESH and soft (not oily or dry). Prices are okay for what you're getting. You can find their daily menu on Instagram. Love most of their flavours. The donuts are pretty big so you definitely share. Can get busy, just before lunch or after is good timing. Friendly people as well. The only thing is that they run out so quickly...limited quantity/options by early afternoon that there is no point of going in. My husband and I went there for a quick treat and had a donut and drink there and noticed that every mins people would come and leave because there is no donuts left. They are missing out on a big business due to not making more, we noticed at least over 20+ people in 30 mins. One of their staff did mention that they make them fresh every morning and they don't have enough fridge space.

As Toronto

I love yeast doughnuts and wanted to try this place. They had an eggnog donut which was delicious. A good sized donut so one was more than enough for me. I will be going back.

Adreanna Patitucci

This place is such a rip off and the workers are so rude absolutely disgusted by this place now which I used to love so much. You can buy a dozen donuts for a discounted price but as soon as you add premium or vegan donuts they charge you singular for each donut but will not tell you that until you look at your bill. I had asked them to fix my bill and they put up their hand and with such disrespect said ‘i did it’ im a paying customer spending $41 on a dozen donuts and I was treated that way. Heck no i will make sure everyone I know who enjoys this place knows how rude their workers are and choose elsewhere to go for donuts because this is just ridiculous. I go to tim hortons and get treated better by the employees and both of them hire brown people so it cant be a cultural difference. Hope you guys reevaluate your staff and choose better for the future of your business if you want to stay successful

Elissa Gervais

Fresh, light, moist ... really tasty. Daddy O (love the branding, btw!) had a surprising number of options compared to other top ???? shops around. Vegan, cake, classic, with a lot of different flavour options. Pictured (clockwise from left): Coffee Cake (#1 fav from this mornings taste test!), Maple Bacon, Biscoff, Blueberry Apple Fritter, Toffee Irish Cream and Oreo Roll

Samantha D

Donuts were so good! Very tasty and a great size and great to share!

Jem Coones

We bought a ½ dozen, and we were NOT disappointed. Absolutely delicious. Hard to pick favourite from our 6. I really liked the Strawberry Shortcake, and the Spicy Susan -- but they were ALL super tasty. This was our first visit, and we are planning to go back to try a different assortment. I posted my pictures in my Food Group on FB -- minutes after I posted, one of the members hopped into her car and hightailed it to Daddy O for her own doughnuts. She also posted her own pics and a positive review.

Allison Choquette

The doughnuts themselves are fantastic - really fresh dough, all of the flavours taste true to their name, and there’s a huge variety here! I just think that the ordering process could be improved. I didn’t pre-order because I wanted to see what they actually looked like in person, but when I got there the fritters weren’t made yet, which was fine and I said I could come back for it. But they don’t let you pre-pay for anything so I missed out on saving the tax on all my items because they wouldn’t let me purchase the fritter at the time and then come back for it, which I think is kind of silly. I was also let down by the fritter - it was perfectly doughy with a great crispy exterior, but there was only ONE apple chunk in the whole thing and at $4.50 after tax, I was definitely hoping for more.

M Mui

Some of the best doughnuts in the city. I love how bright and balanced the flavours are without being tooth-numbing sweet. Texture is perfect and so incredibly fresh. Totally worth the trip out there and a must try I'd you're looking for gourmet high quality donuts

Doris T.

The best donuts in Mississauga! Ordered a pack of 6 donuts ($18 taxes included). I think the pricing is fair since they are fresh and filling. My favourites are Strawberry Bob Marley and Maple Bacon. They have a large variety of donut flavours and other British goods!

Thomas Dembie

Best donuts in the GTA. The donuts are super moist and there's always a great variety of flavours. Call ahead to reserve your donuts if you don't want to miss out. Vegan donuts also available.

Maya Maceka

Came all the way from Hamilton to try a doughnut from this place and was not disappointed! Went with the mini egg filled doughnut. It's Easter after all! It's simply amazing. The mini eggs inside the doughnut were a little bit melted - delicious! Staff were very friendly and there was ample parking too!

Jessica Jebbles

I don't know where to start with them. Absolutely amazing donuts, best I have had from anywhere. You HAVE to try this place out! I'm addicted. Will definitely be a regular customer still even though I am moving away. 11/10.

Melissa Palcong

I love Daddy O's doughnuts! They have great variety and they also cater to vegans as well. The doughnuts are not oily and super sweet like some places. I live in the east part of the GTA and would drive all the way there just to have my doughnut fix. Their selection of British goods is great, my husband is English and loves grabbing a few bags of Walkers chips when we go.

Carmine

Update on my reveiw - ill leave the original below because originally it was a 5 star reveiw. Taste-wise they were great. I was told there is no cross contamination, so I purchased multiple times. But something felt off when I ate them. So when I asked another time I found the reason why. I was told that the vegan products are in fact cooked in the same oil as the non vegan products. A far cry from cross contaminant free. Therefore these doughnuts are not vegan whatsoever. Labeling them as such to boost clientele while not being honest or educated as to what that means is negligent and harmful. Please stop deceiving people for financial gain. Remove the vegan label in your store and on your website please. A little excessively sweet for me and a bit to heavy/oily but otherwise were very tasty and really colorfully designed. Its great that they have vegan donuts without any cross contamination????????The banana coconut eclair is by far the best with the fresh banana slices. Peanut butter jelly time eclair is a pretty awesome idea and looks great, but the jam is way to sweet and not enough peanut butter flavour. The carot cake donut is really cool too. But overall I think the sugar overpowers any other flavour. If they toned down the sugar some I think they'd be able to differentiate different flavours more.

Bill Ing

Having spent a few years baking desserts, bread and decorating wedding cakes, I say definitely that their raised (yeast) donuts have really good texture and taste. Texture-wise, a good soft but sturdy crumb and a nice crust from contact with the frying oil. There is good flavour in the donut itself like getting a good loaf of bread. Definitely a good recipe and care in making the product. Glazes and flavours, I can say taste like things I've made at home. I'd dare guess that there are minimal to no commercial shortcuts like white margarine, over-use of artificial extracts or factory lab mixes. The lemon curd tastes like lemons were juiced and filtered - no salty pasteurized squeezed lemon juice from a container. Homer/Marge Simpson glazes are honest to goodness buttercream, which I assume is butter, meringue, sugar and maybe some stabilizer. The butter comes through deeply. Dark chocolate - reminds me of getting high grade Cocoberry or Callebaut calluts, melting them down mixing with cream and butter for ganache. Rootbeer float donut with rootbeer syrup, fresh whipped cream out of a NO2 dispenser and a maraschino cherry applied when purchasing. Contrast - Krispy Kreme is all soft chewy (good in its own context when hot and fresh) and Tim Horton's are nothing more than factory to supermarket baked goods with just the texture of an old donut and the cloyingly sugary coating mixed with the cheapest of flavour extracts. British baked goods, I'm not overly familiar but the pasty had a filling that reminded me of my dad's hamburger stew that he probably learned to make in the 50s/60s in Toronto.

Dilany Nathan

It’s but pricey, however, it’s delicious. The donuts have a unique flavour and it’s not overwhelmingly sweet. They need to keep their name tags close to the product, that way it’s easier to order. But I will def visit again

Kathleen Robertson

Great donuts, nice service. We walked in today and were able to get 2 dozen donuts!!! Their only problem is they run out of donuts... good for them.

Hema Panchal

Delicious!! Fresh and unique flavors. I think you have to go right when they open to see all the flavors. We went in the afternoon and not alot was left I also loved that they had British goods, took me back to my childhood.

Joel King

It's like walking into donut heaven. Lots of options both vegan and non vegan. Lots to choose from. I got 5 donuts (no I did not eat all of them) not my fav donut shop but the apple fritter had chunks of apple that cannot be ignored. Check it out for sure

Nick Steele

My daughter loved the donuts. They have a good selection! She happy with my purchase.

s j

The doughnuts are fresly made, with lots of unique variety, cost wise a little bit more expensive than your average doughnuts but its not your average doughnuts ($3 each , the more you get better deal they give you), for me, its worth the money as they are very delicious.

Reina

Best donuts in the city. Love their bob marley donuts. Hit And miss with the line ups depending on the time of the day and sometimes they get sold out before the end of the day

Denise Juani

Super happy to have found a relatively local shop with delicious vegan options. I bought the blueberry donut because there were not many vegan options near to closing time. The donut was very dense but somehow fluffy? You could see the air pockets when biting into it. Delicious! It cost me $3.50 which isn’t the worst, especially for something FRESH. Parking is a bit limited and tight but they have a couple of designated pickup spots :) Looking forward to trying more ❤️

Cat O.

These donuts are fresh, fluffy and delicious. They are pricier then the average donut shop place but they are well worth it based on bigger size and flavours. There is a reason why this place always has a line outside their shop and they are well worth the wait.

W J

Seriously some of the best doughnuts I've ever had. A little pricey but so worth it and always fresh! They're always changing the menu and creating new items.

Sar

Wow! Amazing place with super tasty donuts, including vegan versions. Soooo good. Must try.

Navi K

Service was awesome! My dad and I, went here for coffee and a treat. Pink one is actually called the “Springfield Doughnut” lol - The Simpsons. Vegan options were available as well, yummy unique treats!

alex lobal

Excellent, chewy and large Doughnuts. The texture is what makes this place. Flavours are ok but have to try more to be able to give a real review on them. Oreo 'filled' was just an Oreo inside.

Venearla Storrod

The donuts were so delicious, and filling! It was worth the bus drive, and the money! Looking forward to going back. :)

Helen Smeh

Have been a customer here for a few years now and have referred many others to them over this time as well. Up until today have had no issues and to be honest donuts are still great, however not good enough for me to come back over a silly “new policy”. So, swung by today and picked up 6 Plain Janes. They boxed them up and then I said I wanted a smaller box as I wanted to buy some additional donuts as a gift (new neighbours, from TO, wanted to tell them about the place and welcome them to the neighbourhood with some donuts). Well, want I informed that I would need to pay for the second box as there was a new store policy that second boxes had to be paid for. I again mentioned that it was a gift so I needed a box. They said it didn’t matter that that was the policy. They then meant that they could fit up to 12 donuts in the box I already had (not so without squishing my donuts or placing them one on top of the as my 6 were large - maybe another 2 could have fit). I basked, what am I supposed to do - cut my box in half and give a gift with a partial box? Anyhow, just took my 6 donuts and didn’t buy the additional gift donuts (actually needed a third box of donuts as well for my brother as well but didn’t even go there at this point.) So the cost of a box vs another $24 worth of donuts sold. I would totally understand if I was looking for small amounts in each box but not so. So, last time purchase today - not over a bad product but a lack of common sense or knowledge around customer service really. Sadly though I truly don’t think they will care as they still sell out of donuts often. As I said, product great, but with silly “store policies” like this I would say avoid them like the plague and go elsewhere. Luckily I am on the west side of Mississauga and there are two excellent bakeries close by whose donuts I can purchase without additional box fees and will recommend them to my new neighbours instead.

emloch

Service was luke-warm...not bad, but not the best. As for the donuts, I found that they looked far better than they tasted. That's not to say that they taste bad, it's just the flavour profiles don't hold up to the way they look. It's like sliding into a Mercedes only to discover that it drives like Hyundai. They fill the gap, but they are nothing to write home about. Although I understand the higher price point, even so, the experience isn't quite worth the higher cost.

Jess Duong

The donuts here are so delicious. I went on a Sunday afternoon and waited a couple minutes with two other groups ahead of mine. There were so many options available a couple hours before closing. IF you happen to have left overs make sure you put them in an airtight container so that the donuts stay fresh.

Micheal Ostoforoff

Dependably delightful, delectable doughnuts! The selection is awesome. The names are creative on a number of the doughnut offerings. Next trip will include a sampling of some of the non-doughnut offerings that look so tasty! Also, the small but we'll curated offering of British grocery goods is handy and reasonably priced.

Markus Hottgenroth

I am so ashamed... I think I will be having Donuts for dinner and breakfast.... Cozy little corner shop with a surprising variety of donuts and treats. Staff was very friendly and the donuts were super fresh, tasty but not overly sweet. Price was a little high but can't really complain as the quality of the product was very good. Will definitely be back when I am in the area.

victoria nguyen

I went in a spur of the moment since I was in the area, curious of their interesting flavours. I tried the strawberry shortcake donut, nice sweet and popping flavour, good big size and awesome staff. Great food, great people and regard for safety.

Best. Donuts. Ever. My husband and I make it a point to try well rated/reviewed donut shops whenever we travel. We are so fortunate to have this amazing shop in our very own city. While other donut shops (many artisan shops included) merely switch up their toppings, but end up tasting all the same. What I think sets Daddy O's apart is that each donut has it's own unique taste. Also, the vegan donuts here are crazy good..I would not have known said donuts were vegan if not told. Donuts here are WORTH the calories, cheet day snack, celebration treat, "just beacuse" snack or the "let's see what all the fuss is about" snack. ????

Very cute shop with retro-themed decor, and delicious donuts. They have a lot of 'out there' flavours but I think their simpler donuts (i.e. the 'Plain Jane') are their best. They come out with cute seasonal donuts around the holidays with fun designs printed on them (like vintage pin-up girls for Valentine's Day, or classic horror films for Halloween) which are great to bring to parties. Expect a long line-up, and be warned that if you come later in the day, they may end up being sold out (or only having limited options left.) On a particularly freezing day last winter, I waited in the cold for 45+ minutes in a line that wrapped around the block (I normally would have left, but a family member had wanted the donuts for her birthday) and was surprised that they didn't have a better system for crowd control, like maybe giving people numbers so they could wait in their cars until it was their turn. Other than that, I think Daddy O's is perfect!

Amazing donuts made daily. I love a classic Homer (pink with sprinkles), but I always try to get at least one new flavor, I haven't been disappointed yet! If you like donuts, it's worth it to go here!!

Yum! Great selection, taste and quality! These doughnuts are very similar to these speciality donuts I had in Switzerland. Give it a try!

My favourite doughnut shop in the GTA! Such a great variety of flavours.

These people make insane donuts. I had the Cadbury creme egg one at Easter. Had a full size creme egg INSIDE. If your diabetic or even borderline, you might want to avoid this place. Epic donuts.

Wide variety of flavours of doughnuts, including many vegan options. Pricing is great too and the team here has done a great job with the current protocols in place. Highly recommend trying Daddy O Doughnuts at least once if your given the chance.

Some great quality variations of donuts. Been a favourite spot for 3 years now. Don't skip on their vegan choices the batter is super fluffy and in my opinion the best ones. My faves: vegan earl grey, Marge Simpson, maple bacon and cinnamon sugar! Hopefully this place is to here to stay when I am old and grey.

I was fortunate enough to pick up some donuts the first time by arriving early just as the store opened at 10am. Sadly subsequent visits in the early afternoons they were always sold out. It's a bit of a bummer since I'm traveling from east end to the west, hence a star deducted. Varying seasonal donut flavours are priced on the higher end but a delicious indulgence! Small bakery tucked in a plaza corner. Small store footprint. Note - always come early in the morning or place custom order for pickup. No impromptu drives otherwise you will be severely disappointed each time like me! The fact that they always sell out of their donuts by early afternoon is a testament but c'mon!

Friendly service, fresh donuts, has vegan donuts too, and they are beautiful decorated. Overall everything is a bit too sweet for me, but that just my opinion.

Best doughnut shop in the GTA. The vegan doughnuts are also the best in the GTA for vegan varieties. Soft and tasty cannot wait to stop by again!

Best doughnuts in the GTA period ! I’ve been to many other doughnuts shop, but seriously nothing compares! Their vegan options are just as delicious as their non vegan options. It’s a small shop and they tend to sell out often... obviously! Ounce you try them you won’t be satisfied with anything else. I’ve been several times and their quality has been consistent! I hope it stays that way.

HOLY THIS IS THE BEST PLACE ON EARTH. No... seriously when my friend brought me to this spot I was a little skeptic at first but then once I walked in and saw the setup I instantly new it would be good ???? I don’t think there will be a single better donut shop in the GTA the taste is 10/10 the look is 10/10 and it’s lowkey enough that not the quality hasn’t dropped in order for it to be mass produced. This is going to be franchised

I love this place. My faves are sonic orange screw driver (top right shown), chia sugar twist and strawberry shortcake. Their yeasty ones are simply amazing - I’ve never tasted anything like it. Their cakey ones are good too (red velvet for example). Expensive but worth every penny… what a treat!
