Afrococo Cakes is THE best bakery in Mississauga. I've ordered two custom cakes from Tosin so far - a gender reveal cake, and my daughter's first birthday cake. Buttercream and fondant (sharp edges) class!! I had a 1:1 class with Ms. Tosin today, and I must say I was so amazed with the wealth of information she shares during her lesson. Her tips and tricks are so useful and practical. This was definitely the most productive and informative cake decorating lesson I could have asked for. It was more than what I had expected in a one day 4 hour class. She was so helpful and supportive. She made sure I was totally comfortable with covering fondant and had me redo the covering until it was right. I am so glad she did that. I have finally gained the confidence I need to tackle a fondant cake!!! I learnt a lot, and will definitely book more 1:1 classes with this wonderful lady. Ms. Tosin, thank you so much for the time and amazing lesson!!!

Afrococo was truly amazing, she taught my wife a lot she says it was very good experience because she showed her things that she had difficulty in and afrococo was very patient with her and taught her in a way that made her feel like she can actually do it like she does. Her way of teaching was something that I really appreciate and admire because usually for my wife she gets frustrated but with afrococos teaching she didn't because she explained everything very well to her. Her personality was very charismatic and she was a good professional. I came from NYC because I read a lot about her and I was very happy with the results i will definitely be taking another class with her soon.

Website is quite misleading about pick up cakes. Not the kind of store you can pick up cakes from on your way home! Just be sure to prepare at least 24-48 hours before if you'd like a cake from here.

I had found AfroCoco Cakes by chance while doing a search for Bakery's nearby as I wanted to support local and get a special cake made for our Baby's Gender Reveal. I had a vision of what I wanted to do, so gave them a call. From a very short and pleasant phone conversation and a few extra texts with Pics - she assured me that it could be done. When we picked up the cake (which was the Good Friday holiday - Thank you for being open and accommodating to that day!) we were immediately blown away at the results. When we ate the cake it tasted just as awesome as it looked - every bite moist and full of flavor! I want to thank Tosin and AfroCoco Cakes for everything from the first phone call to the end. You were very friendly, accommodating and produced extremely quality results all over! The cake was a hit! Tosin, I just wanted to say thank you very much for the cake you made for my dad. He loves it so much! He doesn't like a lot of frosting so he really liked this cake. He was really impressed! I recently completed one on one baking classes with AfroCoco cakes and it was an amazing experience. Not only did i learn the proper technical ways of baking from scratch, I also learnt about the right baking equipment to use. I was fortunate to have such an experienced instructor, she is very thorough and detailed which I appreciate. She took the time to explain each step, and addressed the questions that came up. I have registered for the second part to this course which is the cake decorating!! I am excited to learn all the cool techniques to decorating. Highly recommended.

I ordered my daughter’s smash cake and 1st birthday cake from Tosin. We had a different cake in mind for her birthday. However, due to the pandemic, we had to cancel our daughter’s party and just opt for a party consisting of me, my daughter and my husband. We still wanted to have a cake for her, even a small one so that she can have something to remember her first birthday by. Tosin was so accommodating. I had only 3 days to find a baker who can accommodate my request for my daugther's birthday and luckily I found Afrococo Cakes. Tosin was just amazing!
