Terrible experience! Ordered 2 fruit cakes and they came with no fruit at all! Very dissatisfied in the quality of the cake. Do not go to this place to order cakes as they are not worth it at all.

Amazing eggless cupcakes fully decorated with our colour choice and sprinkles, they taste just like the ones with egg! The creme rolls were fabulous too. Thank you for the great service and for packaging everything neatly. Super nice staff! This was our first experience and it was fabulous we will visit soon again as they have a variety of baked goods which are made on site.

I had ordered cake one day before I needed it. The cake was ready by 4pm next day. The cake was chocolate with chocolate icing. It was wonderfully decorated and it was very delicious. Excellent cake. I will certainly use your services again. Thank you for making someone special very happy.

Garbage cake. Paid extra for the fruits but they dont even put the fruits that comes in cale by default. Stong colours and useless. I dont wanna get free cake from A-ONE.

They make some of the best rusk cakes I have ever had the pleasure of having. The flavor is hard to compete with at very reasonable prices. They also have cookies and various other baked goods which I tried from time to time but the rusk cakes are hands down my favorite item they sell!

Food is good but the lady on the counter was very rude and disrespectful! Earlier in my previous visit I was not given the complete order and I realised that when I reached home! They never admitted there mistake when i called back! Today I went again at around 4:30 pm and the lady wasn’t listening to my order carefully and also her behaviour was very disrespectful. Dont want to visit again.

The Worst of Worsts! They boil up frozen samosa's and give them to their customers. The oil they use for their frozen samosa's, they use the same oil for five, six months. The production place in the back hidden from customers, is filled with massive dust, they only clean this place, when the food inspector is to be arrived, they are notified in advance. When the student girls quite due to harassment and emotional abuse, they threaten to keep their last weeks salary! Evidence is on the way!

Very bad experience. Your service was not up to standard at all. I had placed an order for a cake on April 25th 2014 which was to be picked up on April 26th 2014 at 2 p.m. When I got there the cake was not ready, After a wait of 45 minutes I asked the lady at the front, how long it would take, she front said that one cake was baking and mine would be next. But five minutes later she came out with the cake. I would like to know how a cake could bake in 5 minutes and have icing done. And speaking of the icing i did not like the icing on the cake at all. If you'll are professionals than i am sorry to say the icing was very poorly done. And talking about the cake it was a very big disappoint. The cake was a bigger disappoint because a fresh cake would be soft but this cake was probably a week old. I have to throw the whole cake out. My little boy was so disappointed on seeing the cake that he refused to eat it saying it looks old. If a child can distinguish an old cake how come your baker did not. Is this the kind of service you give your customers? Please don't do this to any other customer. I for sure am not coming back ever again to your place. And I have told all my friends also not to order from you. And on top of everything 45 mintue wait for an order that was placed 24 hours ahead.

Extremely unprofessional. Very unclean, employee's do not wash their hands and use their hands directly. Pretend to wear hairnets but do not really wear them. Very rude behaviour towards customers. My sister stood in line for 30 mins because she had a question about placing a cake order, Rajinder was extremely rude. Made up false prices because she wanted my sister to leave. Kept taking other customers and ignoring my sister. When my sister asked to speak to the owner Rajinder said she will come out of the back in 5 mins, 15 mins later no one came. Rajinder then said the owner would be in after 3 pm. This was clearly because the employees wanted my sister to leave and not speak to the owner. It's very upsetting to be treated this way even after you have been customer for over 2 years. I urge all my Punjabi brothers and sisters to go to another cake and pastries shop where your time is valued. There are several locations in the GTA that provide the same egg less, nut free cakes as this location. Other locations are extremely more hygienic and value their customers.

Worst ever experience . I booked a cake one week before , did the payment over the phone . The day I had to pick up the cake , they made lame excuses about the picture . Saying the printer is not working and your cake is not ready . Called after 10 min , they told me that there is internet issue . Whn I went there to collect the cake , they told me the wire was not plugged in . They held this upto 1 hour and made all kind of excuses . Simran the girl who took the order , made the cake totally opposite of what I asked . Neither the cake colour was as said neither the photo . Terrible customer care service

I had the worst experience working here. Too much emotional abuse towards co-workers by the Supervisor, Jaswinder Kaur. She is uneducated, unethical and a barbarian. She has a vulgar mouth. I had to leave work due to Jaswinder's emotional abuse. Daily, she would find reasons to yell at somebody, she is always on a Power Trip. Despite of being a good supervisor, she would misuse her statues, yelling profanity at us in Punjabi. No, human should tolerate an abuse, especially living in this advance Country! After reading my review here, the Owner is suggesting this should have been internally solved. He saw the emotional abuse which Jaswinder inflicted on employees but the owner remained silent. The owner is a bully himself.

Have been loyal customer and buying cakes from A-one since 1997. One of the best places to buy eggless cakes and rusks/biscuits. The supervisor that is in charge is really rude, she can be a bit more friendly and put a smile on her face. She was looking at us customers as a hawk like we were going to steal and run away. If the management is reading this please reconsider who you put in charge, doesn't matter if she has a key role in the team, if she can not learn how to address concerns and speak to customers then clearly she shouldn't be "supervisor". Otherwise, the front employees are very nice and the customer service is good.

The company that has been in service for well over 22 years is A-One Cakes & Pastries Inc. Some individuals may write comments/reviews under the wrong company name.

I came here on weekend for shift and then I actually come to know about there unhygienic way to prepare food, trays were not cleaned which were used to bake the biscuits. The awkward thing was they provided only one pair of gloves for whole shift , we were handling the food ????and the lady working at the back I don’t know her name might be she is a supervisor over there have no sense to talk, really she treated all workers disrespectfully. I would recommend not to buy anything from this site as they humiliate their workers.
