I stopped by on the wy to calgary, first time had food from medicine hat dennys. it was wonderful experience. i want to say service and staff were phenomenal. They were even wearing the gloves while cleaning the menus which I liked it. My kids were so happy with their pancakes.

The best for me was when i got Interviewed for a job, and the managers were super friendly, very nice people and has been the one place that had no problems with or discriminated against me for my very painful and physical disability, they were amazing and incredibly understanding which i Absolutely appreciated so much so definitely 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best place to have breakfast I tried Fit fare veggie skillet and its one of the best sizzling skillet I have ever had. I would recommend this place to visit. Staff and management was pretty good and was handling the guests in a very professional way. Support local!

The place is clean and have standard covered 19 protocols.. I ordered T bone steak and eggs Medium rare and it was set down on a plate way too small the steak was sitting on top of my scrambled eggs And hash Browns, The steak was well done and tough issue leather but I ate most of it as I was quite famished I famished I asked for jam and spread for the toast and was completely forgotten about.. I know people have off days And covid 19 has been trying times for everybody but time to get back to normal good service and and food preparation

We have dined here 5 times since the opening. It started out top notch....service and food, then in these last 2 weeks it’s just ok. Last night we battled flies buzzing for our food, very over cooked ingredients in our dishes. No jam was offered, refill on coffee was slow in coming. The servers are either great here (insert older ones) or not. When the manager is there it runs like a clock.

I came to Denny’s with my son and daughter. The staff was very friendly, everyone was following COVID protocols, and last but not least the food tasted amazing. My kids and I ordered pancakes and they were huge fans of the Choconana pancakes. I will definitely be returning to this location if I’m in the area.

Ive Been to many Dennys locations, always good hot food, decent portions and good service, so I was excited to see one finally open here in Medicine Hat. I finally tried this one for the first time since they opened and was pretty disappointed. We went there on a weekday morning, the host wasn't very friendly, it definatley wasnt very busy as I saw many many empty tables, yet we were reminded again and again how busy it was. Our waitress had to warn us many times she may forget about us because of this. Later she even had to give us our bill early because she may forget to come back. We got Luke warm coffee to start then sat there with empty coffee cups for about 20 minutes. My wife had to go ask for some more coffee but was told she has to get food out to this other table first, that sat down after us. A manager brought our food, before any coffee showed up, no syrup, no ketchup, no coffee and asked if we needed anything else lol eventually he came back with coffee and and rest. Our food came warm, not hot, and the portions were small. The overall experience of this dennys didn't reflect what I get in Calgary or any other locations I have been to. I Felt ripped off honestly, not sure if I'll go again anytime soon. Hopefully it was just a bad day there because it won't last long if that's the norm.

Went to eat there with my family, and the food was great. We had to get the salted caramel banana pancakes twice because everyone liked them so much!! The atmosphere was very nice, waiters were very polite and overall everything was very clean. We will definately be coming again, as soon as this lockdown is uplifted.

Yes these are weird times, and personally I am quite annoyed with having to produce papers to sit in a restaurant, but the server was discreet, kind and professional about all of that. The service was fantastic, and the food was delicious. For my first visit to Denny's in Medicine Hat, I'm now a very big fan.

Went in today, since it was the last day before dine in was closed, and me and family had a great experience, for brand new restaurant there's still a tiny bit more training needed, but that is to be expected so its fine. The food was fantastic especially the apple crisp dessert. Everyone was very polite and the restaurant was very nice and clean, also the food did not take very long to get to us, which was good.

Food was good and at our table in a reasonably quick time. After food was delivered we never seen our waitress again, no refill on coffee, no getting topping for toast and finally after we were done eating for 20 minutes with our dirty dishes on the table we had to flag down another waitress to get our bill.

Worst experience ever! Ordered from Skip the dishes on Mother's day. Both Philly beef sandwiches arrived with no meat and no cheese. Called Denny's lady said she spoke to the manager and there was nothing they could do. Very disappointing, don't waste your time or money. Not Skip the Dishes fault, food orders were sealed and prepared incorrectly by Denny's restaurant. Situation was later rectified by Denny's but am still not impressed with the Customer Service and not receiving a full meal to eat for a special Mother's day dinner.

Made to wait outside while tables were being cleaned...supposed to be 4 minutes...was closer to 15. Food took an hour to be served. People seated after us were served first. And the cashier seemed put off that we didnt tip. We eventually recieved what we ordered and the waitress was acceptable or the stars would have been less.

Our family went out to eat this past Saturday & we have zero complaints. Our waiter was great, and our food came out nice and hot! I went in yesterday to leave a bigger tip for our waiter & i found out that they fired him, along side other staff members. I find that distasteful not only during a pandemic, but also to employees who are homeless or are single parents (the host filled me in on the situation). It was great seeing a restaurant hire visible minorities to work in the front, but looks like those days are gone. It says alot when the Management leaves a review (Premjot)

This place is trash honestly ????. Ive been there twice now once for breakfast once for supper. Save your hard earned money trust me. I dont usually post reviews or even bad ones but this place is well deserving of a 1 star. And Dennys in general isn't bad because if ate the before just the one in medicine hat is horrible. How you can screw up scrambled eggs is beyond me. If i was the owner of this restaurant putting out sub par food like they do id be worried.

The food was good as per normal Denny’s, but was very disappointed in the service. I was excited to bring my kids in for pancakes with whip cream and all the toppings, but the lack of napkins ruined the experience. When my toddler spilled her milkshake I was given 2 napkins then had to send my oldest to “steal” napkins off the server’s cart. Then when the food came I asked for extra napkins 3 times, to only receive 2 napkins.

I only gave this a one star cuz the server was great but the food was not good at all.. I ordered eggs Benedict and the sauce was lump and the eggs were not cooked and I never got asked how I would like them. The english muffin was soggy and less than a handful of potatoes. The manager took it off my bill but still charged me for a coffee which I couldnt even drink. The worst denny's i have eaten at. And will not be back..

Stopped in Medicine Hat to grab some food and ended up at this Denny's. The food was delicious! On top of that, the staff was super friendly and very attentive! The restaurant was kept clean and tidy, which is a huge bonus during this pandemic. Would definitely eat here again!

Unable to order on line as Medicine Hat does not come up as an option for orders. The closest to me shows Brooks. The only other way that you can order online is through skip the dishes. Personally I like to pick my food up by myself so the option by ordering online would be better for me but ordering to skip the dishes doesn't give you that option to pick up yourself

Honestly not great this time around. Breakfast was fine. Many on staff...was not offered coffee after the first pour nor checked up on. I'm not trying to be critical but there's a basic standard check up on your patreons twice during their visit that's all. More than enough working to have accomadated that request with how many were customers were in. Maybe new staff not sure but unfortunately less than average this visit.

As a rule, our fam loves Dennys restaurants. However, this Med Hat branch seems to have very slow food delivery with erratic food quality. After a couple visits to Med Hat's branch, a couple of our servings have been quite poor, while the rest were just fine. The table staffers service, facility and overall cleanliness seems acceptable, predictable & normal otherwise. They just need to get the kitchen staffing problems sorted better.

I will never return. Service was not very good and there was not many people in there. When refilling the coffee, the server was reaching across the table and had spilled hot coffee on the table the first time, second time I had to move my plate and myself away from table because she did not move the cup when filling and almost poured coffee onto my plate. Breakfast food was not cooked properly. One lady asked for the egg to be well done (yolk not to be running) when it was runny. Another lady asked for over easy and I guess the cook felt as though since the outside was white it was good to serve. WRONG!!! The yolks looked like it was not touched by a hot pan the yolk looked like snot to be honest. Waitress kept forgetting items that were asked for. So it was my first and last time to go.

Recently we had a chance to be at Denny's Medicine Hat during our stay at BW. We were looking for some food options for our kid and it was getting close to their closing hour. But the manager of Denny's Mr. Premjot went above and beyond to cater our request. Very thankful for that. Would highly recommend.

Went there today, Saturday. The girl at the front was too busy stacking change in her hand, the second one came and didnt acknowledge us, then finally a third came and asked us if we had been helped....she seated us. We ordered our food and waited 45 minutes. Our food was barely warm. It wasnt that busy in there and staff out numbered the guests by a long ways. We wont come back!

I went there for my third time and requested the same waiter ive had the first 2 times. Apparently Denny's just did a massive layoff & he was one of them. Our waitress had a very horrible attitude and was super grumpy at my family and I . Denny's needs to hire based on personality over someones Looks. We will not be back

The staff was working together and can tell they are trying to give the best service possible. After reading some comments, I wonder if they have worked in a new restaurant. That they are still training staff, and trying to figure out their trends. I was happy and so was my family. We will definitely be back and recommending this restaurant to our other family members and friends.

We went in for breakfast around 10 and it was very busy. We heard a guest complaining when we first walked in the door and we were growing sceptical at first. But then the host came to greet us and he was very accommodating. We wanted a booth so he dropped what he was doing to clean one for us even though there were tables in the middle open, he didn’t want us sitting at the “tuna can tables”. The food took a little while to get to us but it was extremely good, I got the Nashville and my husband had got the bourbon burger. All the staff had great attitudes even though they were clearly overwhelmed, multiple servers made sure to check on us and ask us how our food was not just our own. Great family restaurant.

Had lunch there today. I recommend you look somewhere else to eat. We’ve eaten at numerous Denny’s in the past and this place has opened too early. We ordered the Bourbon Chicken and the slow cooked pot roast Very Small portion with the chicken. Waited 45 mins to get served. Had to wear jackets because the door was open and very cold inside. No salad, no slow cooked roast beef. Settled for the lumberjack breakfast after I was told 30 minutes later that the roast beef was not available. Utensils were very dirty. Received a discount for our troubles. This place should not be open. Staff not trained or prepared for the public in the least. The cooks can’t cook to Denny standards and the waiters don’t know the menu. Just a really bad experience. Won’t be back to this Denny’s for a very long time.

My aunt was raving about this restaurant. Ive never seen a restaurant that was able to accommodate those who were Hearing Impaired. I guess Medicine Hat gained another exclusive restaurant for Customers & Staff ???? The food was great the first time we went. I might go back after the lock down is lifted.
