After repeating my order so many times they asked me to drive up and park to wait for chicken. I ordered 3 cheese burger meals and 2 crispy chicken combos. My total was $50. When the girl came out to give me my food I asked if there was 5 burgers in the bag and she said yup. I had all 5 drinks already. When we got home there was only 4 burger. 1 chicken was missing. I called the store and the girl said there was 1 chicken burger in there. I explained that I paid for 5 combos and she said she didnt know cause she didnt take the order but she did know there was 1 chicken burger apparently. She never apologised and she was very rude. I honestly just think the people at that store are not as smart as your average person. Everytime I've gone there it's been a disaster.

Was just at the Parry Sound Dairy Queen with my Uncle. We went through the drive thru. He specifically asked for a one litre of fresh soft serve chocolate ice cream. Person said one moment. When they came back they said yes that they had that. We get home with it to find that it was hard ice cream that had been in the freezer for quite some time. Nothing fresh about it. He drove back to exchange it...they tell him that's all they have. He said he should have been told then and not sold something he didn't want. They said they were very busy at that time. (We were the only car in the drive thru and the parking lot was very empty)

Was there during long weekend. Wasn't that busy. Ordered a burger. Watched the clock on the order screen go from 5 min to 10 min. At 12 min I asked to speak to the manager. I didn't know why it would take that long. Her response was that it was coming and it's not like they are just standing around doing nothing. I deal with customers every day and I wouldn't tell any customer that. Would not go back there.

Probably the worst Dairy Queen I have ever had. There service is terrible, and slow, despite having a abundance of staff working. We waited 5 minutes for our food, as we watched it sitting under the heater. It was just me and my spouse inside. I ordered chicken fingers and fries, when I got them, they were old, cold and soggy. After biting into one of the chicken fingers, it tasted and smelled like dog food. It was disgusting !

Parry Sound has limited fast food restaurants but this one is away from the others. Best to take the Parry sound Drive exit. It has lots of sit down booths/tables and offers burgers, etc. as well as ice cream I think this is one of the better Dairy Queens that we have eaten in. Parking is good and you can exit to the side street to take advantage of the stop light.

This place is always busy and there's always a line up, so be prepared for that. It doesn't matter what city I'm in, I always anticipate a line up at DQ. If you keep that in the back of your mind, you'll be pleasantly surprised when one day, there ISNT a line. Anyways, considering how busy this place is, the staff are always trying their best, friendly, and working hard. Food is hit n miss, here and there, but what fast-food chain isn't?

It is a DQ, they make DQ food - it is spotless in there, even a step above normal DQ levels of cleanliness which is pretty good. Employees were polite and efficient, and food was prepared correctly and fresh. Love the sun room and the outdoor seating area in the summer.

As I always use drive threw on my lunch break from work. I decide to venture inside to order my regular 5 deal (burger and med drink) As I order she has problems putting it into till, because it's a new system she replied. After a few attempts and a few other costumers already made their orders beside me with no problems. She asked a fellow worker for help. He comes over tells her what to do then leaves. She then puts order in and asked for 7 dollars and some change. Right away I tell her that the deal is 5 dollars and tax as I come threw drive threw 2 to 3 times a week. She then replied your right. As she figures things out i told her i going to the washroom. When I return she goes to opening in back and asked for help. The guy flipping burgers then tells her something that she tries in till with no luck. She the goes back for help again. The guy flipping burgers tells her something again and she tries, which does not work. I then ask for manager. At this time I'm running out of lunch break and getting hungry smelling the other people around me getting there orders with no problems. The guy flipping burgers who helped the 1st time and left, returned and ask what's the problem. Aparently he was the manager. I tell him I wanted 5 deal on the sighn above his head and been waiting 15 min to order and you know the rest. As he has problems because it's a new system he has to charge me 7 dollers and some change because he doesn't know how to use till. I refuse and he kicks me out. So I snap a picture of manager under 5 doller deal and 7 dollar deal sing above his head I guess the menu is there to lure you in but when you purchase make sure to check your receipts but if you catch them RIP you off they just kick you out. 2 bucks geeze!

The Dairy Queen in Parry Sound is stingy n cheap with their servings. We asked for and paid extra for caramel on the Sundae and there was barely even sny caramel on it. The banana split had hardly any ice cream in it or toppings. We were very disappointed with what we were served at the Parry Sound Dairy Queen location. We will not be going back there. Sorry we could not give you a better review.

People forget they have hot food here. And it's really good, the flamethrower burger is sooo good. It's a little more pricey than the other fast food places but you get really good food for you money. And if you're needing to save money they have deals like 2 double cheeseburgers for $6 often so ask what they have on special and they'll hook you up with a decent deal usually.

Love dairy queen just not this one. Only one that wont do anything you ask for like substitutions (like not putting on peanuts) have never run into this problem before with any dairy queen but this one and quite rude about it actually. Definitely lost a customer here.

This is your usual DQ with the usual goodies that they have. The staff are great and serve the best ice cream treats going. One thing to note about this location is that the parking lot is exceptional, particularly if you are towing a horse or travel trailer. The parking lot is part of a larger property, and there is ample room to pull through with a trailer.

I have fond memories of coming to this dairy Queen when I was a kid. Used to come here during the parade with my grandparents, we'd get some ice cream and enjoy all the people in the parade and the floats. That being said, it's still a good Dairy Queen, well kept and the parkade is still as unleveled as before. Some call it odd, I call it character. ????

It's nice to see that Thompson finally has an alternative QSR (that's "quick service restaurant" for all you non-food service nerds out there) to McDonald's and A&W. So how do they stack up against the competition? To start with, their burgers are comparable to Burger King, in that they offer more topping quantity versus the Golden Arches. The chicken burger definitely tasted better than the Chubby Chicken...the only down side was that the fries were cold. For pricing...yeah, the clown place is less expensive, but it could be argued that you get what you pay for, but compared to the bear place, DQ was cheaper. For service...this is Thompson, so it's very difficult to find any location that actually focuses on quality customer service. Let's just say that they actually acknowledged my existence, which is more than I can say about their neighbouring competition. For flavour and taste... it's fast food, let's be reasonable. The meals were as expected from a corporate location. If you are looking for an alternative to the other locations, you won't be disappointed with a decision to eat here. Special note of interest: they still offer plastic straws for their drinks. I know I shouldn't be happy about this, but try drinking a pop through a soggy paper straw...yeah, I didn't think so!
