The service was excellent and both the scone and cinnamon bun were fantastic. It was a hot summer day and the interior was quite warm. Since we had been cycling, it was a bit too warm for us inside. Other than that everything was perfect.

It is so fantastic to find bakeries that clearly identify big food restriction items for people who have allergies or intolerances. And their food is amazing! Being able to find a lactose free pizza - especially one that takes this good - is such a treat!

We really like the vegetarian pizzas with a mocha! Sweets are good, but limited & a bit too pricey. We always seem to luck out with a friendly face at the front service desk! Staff are friendly & always appear to run the ovens very efficiently.

First time visit. Really enjoyed the sourdough bread. Staff was friendand helpful with suggestions. Disappointed that we could get pizza ona Tuesday, otherwise it would've been a five stars. Will visit again.

Hmm interestingly Blueberry peach muffin and chocolate brownies has aroma of Pizza sauce in mouth. I don't know how they managed to do so. Perhaps spilled some pizza sauce into dough or used same gloves that used to make pizza?

Excellent organic bakery. Thurs, Fri, and Saturday night you can get fresh pizza from their wood burning oven. Delicious. And don’t forget Saskatoon Berry pie!!!

Got the bagels and sour dough and felt like the flavor just wasn’t there for me. Maybe lack of salt? The bagels weren’t good. Was thinking to try the pizza after but realized I might not be a fan or their breads.

The best bakery and atmosphere ever. I love it. Their croissants have spelt in them and I've never tasted anything so delightful. Their Assam tea is the best I've ever had. Staff are amazing, so considerate and you can see them making the food with care. Pizza is amazing also, you don't feel awful after eating it, it's not heavy and tastes great with simple ingredients.

Beautiful place! Great lunch spot!! Lots of healthy options with plenty of vegan items to choose from. Grabbed their omnivore sandwich on my lunch break today and it was amazing! Can’t wait to try the pizza someday soon! Super friendly staff! Everyone had a smile on their face and looked as if they were all really enjoying themselves while on shift which is always so awesome to see!

Really good coffee for the price (Flatlanders from Gimli): $2! Refills are $1. If you ask for a decaf, they do a pourover for the same price as a drip! One month later: I've found myself at Hildegard's quite often (even though I usually like to go to a wider variety of places). Here's why: 1. Good, locally roasted coffee at a good price 2. Great atmosphere: Bright, LOTS of LIVE, healthy plants, with a beautifuly restored tile floor that's got to be about 100 years old. 3. My family loves the bread, even if it's day old ($4/loaf for day old). It's taken me this long to figure out that they do have their own parking stalls across the street by Rexalls, but a little closer to Tim's

Need a pretty downtown spot for coffee or lunch? This bakery has seating and bright windows plus a selection of muffins, scones, other pastries plus bread and pizza. Coffee is strong and there are options to donate $2 items to community in need.

Just a bit disappointed that I couldn't order lemon/raspberry tarts but was told I could only get them at certain times/holidays. Also the packaging for the sandwiches was dismal the beets bled through all the packaging and onto my clothes that I wanted to wear that evening.. BUT everything else is great food/establishment/staff AWESOME job everyone

I had heard a lot about good things about Hildegard's Bakery and it did not disappoint! I ordered a pizza at lunch time and it was quick, fresh, and had some of the best dough/crust I have ever tasted. It was thin but still soft and chewy enough to hold its toppings. The environment was also very endearing. It has old world charm with penny tile floors, wood beams and lots of plants. Will be going back!

Best sourdough in the city! But it would be nice if your pizza menu listed the ingredients. Onions on Ham and Pineapple is not common and many people can't tolerate onions. Ruined it for me. Overall the pizza could use more and/or more flavorful sauce.

This place is worth visiting and you'll probably keep going back. My partner likes the muffins and I like the scones. The Saskatoon Scone is the best scone I've ever eaten, hands down. Really looking forward to trying the pizza!

The menno pizza is A. Maze. Zing. This is a beautiful spot in honour of a very cool historical, female figure. The bread is excellent as are all of their baked offerings. I love that they have a number of frozen takeaway items like desserts, soups, and their amazing pizza crusts.

Split pea and ham soup, fabulous! All the fresh baked one could ask for, specifically sourdoughs. Cinnamon buns, pizza, beer and wine too. Very friendly staff with a conservatory type feel to the decor. Cozy spot for an afternoon snack!

After trying 4-5 things from the bakery, we concluded that it is good, but not great. There is a great variety, the doughs always tastes fresh and tender (scones, cinnamon buns, muffins, etc.), but, they were also a little bland. That being said- we did not yet try the pizza! Also, the service was awesome (fast and friendly)

Excellent muffins and ancient grains bread selection. Spelt pizzas are tasty and great value. It's one of my favourite places to stop for a quick flatlander coffee and treat!

This place has really nice breads. Their borscht soup is spot on. Their daily special soups are hit and miss. Mostly miss. Overly seasoned. Heavy on herbs and spices. So much that it interferes with the main ingredients. Their sandwiches are meh. Their butter tarts are sweet, as can be and huge. Be warned, you can't stop at half. Blueberry muffins are deliciously loaded with blueberries. Coffee is perfect every single time.

Awesome Pizza! We’ve ordered their pizza a couple times and were blown away. Their baked goods are really good too! They have really good coffee (espresso machine etc.) Order your pizza early because they sell out.

Heard a lot of good things but after visiting I cannot agree. Expensive for what you get. Pizzas that weigh next to nothing. So is that one 14 dollar za each then? Nine dollars for a bunwich?!? I understand that good fresh food costs but a hamburger bun with a bit of filling for 9 dollars?

I always get spelt bread and sourdough from here! Love the pizzas! This place is my go to for anything baked! They also host events, we just had a wedding shower there tonight and they served pizza and salad. Such a great space with welcoming and appreciative staff.
