Super cute cafe with amazingly friendly owners. They make their own soft serve ice cream and bread. Both are delicious.

Kate Richards

A beautiful little gem. Vegan options! Authentic and simple. Buffalo ice cream, legit espresso and creative owner make this a one of a kind experience!

Unique rustic Cafe, complete with music provided via a vynal record player, owned and operated by a very young couple. Good to entrepreneural youth these days.

Gordon B. Isnor

We loved everything about this place. The breakfast sandwiches were fantastic, the veggie sandwich was superb, the milkshakes were, according to my son “the best I’ve ever had”, the hibiscus lemonade was great, the machiato was excellent, the vanilla and black currant twist cones were out of this world, and we left with some incredible looking pastries. Love it!

Bob Jacobson

Homegrown, locally produced and fashioned foods; a great weekend marketplace.

Jill Stephenson

Omg how awesome of a find was this place?! A must go to if you’re in the area. Delicious lunch. Buffalo milk cheese, to-die-for homemade croissants and ice cream, old fashioned milkshakes (I’m not one for milkshakes but I’m so glad I opted for this as my splurge treat!) It’s kind of like stepping back in time. Loved it!

Matthew Thompson

Horrible service, way overpriced for what it was. The milkshake I had was not thick and was not very flavorful. Additionally, the milk that was used to make the milkshake was regular farmers and not buffalo milk. The only reason I rated it 2 stars instead of 1 was because of the decor and style of the interior and exterior.

Fantastic little treasure of a place! Try to time your visit to coincide with the gaps between the lahave ferry runs, as they get a heavy pulse of traffic everytime a ferry lands. Everything on their menu is excellent, really! If they have their water buffalo mozzarella available, be sure to get some! It's so fresh and mellow that regular store mozzarella tastes greasy and disappointing by comparison. The 'all day breakfast sandwhich' is particularly good. The homemade icecream and or sorbet is always excellent. The staff are always in good moods and are super friendly. The porch is dog friendly, which is great. A couple of times I've been there I've spotted legendary comedian Ron James!

Delicious sandwiches and coffee. Also had a home-made carrot cake soft serve ice cream which was super tasty. The owners are really friendly too.

Don't let the look fool you, excellent food. Chocolate anything is made with their own homemade chocolate. The cookies are my favourite. Coffee is excellent as well.

Great spot, friendly staff, unique options. Really enjoyed both of my visits here though I'm glad I gave the buffalo milk ice cream a second chance. The espresso flavour was okay but nothing special to me but I loved the chocolate mint. Also loved that they used glass bowls instead of disposables. Zero-waste win!

Stephen Mack

Best home-made ice cream. Nice small place where you can stop for lunch, coffee and did I say ice cream?

Jason Zeppa

Ashley Marlin

Always good.

If you are hungry, ask for the menu. There is more than just the pastry cabinets. It seems that everything is home made, and locally sourced. Everything I had was delicious. The only place in the area that makes its own soft-serve ice cream mix. The ice cream was amazing. Eclectic music playing on vinyl completes the experience. Stop in, there's more than meets the eye. Also the only place we found in the Maritimes during our entire trip that _didn't_ have a tip option on the debit machine; it was both startling and refreshing.

This is a spot we happened by on a day out - and what a great find it is! The coffee is excellent - americano’s and lattes especially. We also tried their made-on-site ice-cream - a vanilla and Haskap berry twist - which was a revelation. SO delicious! Highly recommended.

What a lovely little shop! So cute and charming. I was visiting the area with my sister and we stopped in for some milkshakes. The atmosphere was great and the people were extremely friendly and welcoming!

Inner Parakeet

Drove here specifically to get a croissant as per the recommendation of some French folk. I was not disappointed!

A nice old building with an old fashioned general store feel to it. The water buffalo ice cream is interesting, although we didn't like the texture as much as traditional softserve

Had my all time best breakfast sandwich on a croissant with fresh ground pepper and listening to Bobby Dylan on a Sunday morning. It does not get any better than that.

Rachel Green

we came for breakfast and were delighted with the quality of everything we had, from the coffee, to the breakfast sandwiches (with and without meat), pains au chocolate, cinnamon bun and Kouign Amman, a Breton pastry that is a very special treat. don't miss the homemade chocolates! service is friendly and there are tables in the front and the back, as well as seats at the bar inside.

Shaun Oilund

I can't remember what the desert I had was called, but it was layered puff pastry with cream between the layers, it was very good! I could have eaten a good baker's dozen of them but they only had one left!

Paul McMillan

Great smoked meat sandwiches!

A delicious welcoming caring local spot which has done an amazing job of preserving the original feel of the store and some of its contents. A gem.

Aroon Thakkar

The best croissants I have had outside of France. The Cinnamon swirl, kouign amann and pain au chocolate are top tier as well. I love seeing what rotating flavours of pastry they have. The biggest downside is that whenever I'm in the area I need to stop in, I can't help myself.
