I am very disappointed with the “madloqa” I bought a couple of days ago. It is completely different than the traditional “madloqa” we know. The madloqa is based on “ashta” and the one I bought was mainly just Dough with very low quantity of actual ashta. It is really not worth it for the price I paid

The real sweetness you find it when you visit Yasmin Alcham is the owner. He welcomes you with a smile a piece of baklava and he even offers coffee for free. I liked this cozy place with si many YUMMY treats and other baked middle eastern pies. They use real PISTACHIOS unlike the fake colored peanuts used by the other very famous series in Montreal. All the best for them.
