I really like their chicken. However these days their opening hours do not concur with what’s on Google. They should at least have the courtesy to update them so you don’t make your customers come all the way to your restaurant to find it closed. As an example today, it’s written that they close at 8. It’s 7pm and they’re already closed. Same thing for Mondays where they close all day. Anyways, they can’t complain after if they lose customers…

We called to place an order for pickup. The lady told us no need to place the order as there plenty available. Once we get there, we wait in line outside in the cold for about 15 minutesto be told it will take 35-40 minutes to have a chicken ready. Ever since I tried the Pasteis de Nata in Portugal, I was looking for the same incredible taste back here on the homefront. So far, out of four places, this eatery has come the closest. The flaky crust is excellent, especially when made fresh. The custard was good, however, did not feel like a 'pure' taste I was looking for. All in all, very pleased and will be back for more.

my husband went to get a bbq chicken as always.. And as we found out since June 1st the bakery has a new owner.. Let me tell you.. The chicken was cold we leave 7 minutes away and for sure cooked a few hours ago. Even the smell when he got home was not fresh. Believe me I know chickens. Unfortunately they lost a client and as a reminder..you don't correct emplyees in front of costumers.. My husband was very disappointed with that. Treat your employees with respect for you to be repected as a boss.

I love this restaurant. They are friendly staff, their food is always fresh and taste good. The place is a little small if you want to eat in, there isn't a lot of parking spot. The place is clean even the kitchen. The food is amazing, staff is courteous. Arm yourself of patience tho, they have a lot of customers at certain time and it takes a little time to give the food. The glory days are back! I used to be a regular here when they first opened, however the quality drastically dropped after management changed a few times. They've been under new ownership for less than a month and the food is amazing again. I highly recommend trying Lajeunesse for authentic grilled meats, seafood or their bakery, especially if you were a regular during their early days!

I always go to this restaurant. But this time I was really disappointed with the service and the food. We had to wait at least 15 minutes in line to place our order ( only one person in front of us) when I got home, the chicken was burnt, not crispy , black, did not even taste like chicken, could only taste the burnt ! Went there for a quick fix when I had almost 20 friends and family members over on a Friday night. Had no time to cook. I have to say, I am a BIG chicken lover. I found my new GO TO place for the best chicken, perfectly spiced. After the meal, I always have 1, 2, maybe 3 natas..they are out of this world. Staff, extremely friendly and well mannered. Been there 4 times and will be going back. Sal :)

It is ok at best. I ordered a sandwich there and there was barely any chicken inside of it. There was more bread and sauce then meat. Better to order a half chicken meal or something else than the sandwiches.

Would have been a first time customer. Called to ask if I needed to order in advance. Was told no unless I'd like three or more full chickens. I just needed one so just come in and place your order. Headed over. 10km drive. Third in line. After 5 minutes someone comes out to say they aren't filling chicken orders for another 30 minutes. The entire line up left including those behind me. I'll never try to go there again I don't care how good it might be.
