the quality of products from this bakery has rapidly declined over the past few years. the fat used is terrible and coats the mouth after the food is long gone. all fruit fillings and pie fillings are canned; they are awful. the dinner rolls are often not proofed long enough and are dense and dry with a formidable crust. the cookies are not worth the plastic bag in which they are contained; both the cookies and pastries have no substance and are usually over-baked. the cookies especially have this problem of leaving a fatty coating in the mouth. there is nothing buttery about this bakery. and, finally, they squeeze four or five loaves of warm bread into one plastic bag - cheap and anything but smart. don't waste your time. Karl clearly no longer cares about quality. the staff obviously don't either. and if you can't afford a plastic bag for your products, it is time to rethink your business plan.

The pretzels were amazing, one of the best we've ever had. Everything else was alright but the brownies taste like soap, nobody could finish them. I've never not been able to finish a brownie, but here we are.
