Same as most little coffee shops. Coffee is quickly served and the food is average coffee shop muffins, loaves etc. The art is mostly local or canadian and some are for sale. The occassionally carry knick-knacks and mugs but mostly during the holidays. Hadicapped parking in a few locations near by and out front. Outdoor tables and chairs for warm months.

Perfect for dates OR working! I've come here many times while doing remote work to get out of the house, and it's been splendid each time. The baristas are friendly and hard-working! They're always patient with me, though I'm slow to make up my mind, and always make a delicious cup of coffee. Though it can obviously get loud during peak hours, that's to be expected. Honestly, I love going during the quieter hours of the day for a sweet date with my husband after a full day to focus on each other.

Its a nice little coffee shop. Theres lots of different coffee, tea and other drink options. Competitively priced. Small variety of food items. The staff have always been very friendly and accommodating when I've been in there. I do wish there was gluten free and vegan treat items though.

I really like Joy of Coffee because of its homey feel... I grew up in the neighbourhood, I remember the shop back to its Esquires days. I like that the owners and staff aren’t trying to be trendy or niche in any way. It’s simply a friendly neighbourhood coffee shop. Wonderful service, great drinks and big comfy chairs.

Terrible experience. I had to use the washroom and I have medical issues regarding it. I purchased a coffee to be nice... I didn't need it. After the washroom I came out to grab my coffee and a CPA investigations business card. She accused me of stealing then when I showed her the card she walked away. Fast to accuse me of being a theif But doesn't apologize or be mature.

I come here a few times a week and usually get a great soy cappuccino or latte. Mostly great service and great beverages although once a barista made a soy cappuccino worse than at Starbucks. That's why I give 4 stars. I love that there are vegan and glutenfree muffins available

I ordered a Blueberry Banana smoothie. When I tried my smoothie it defenitly was not a smoothie it was a slurpie that did not taste like banana or blueberry it was very artificial tasting. When I politely complained to the two girls behind the counter they seemed annoyed. I had to ask them to replace my drink which they did. I said thank you and they didn’t even respond to me. When I pay 5 dollars for a drink I expect a decent drink not something that I can get at 7-11 for a lot less money.

I enjoyed the atmosphere of the shop, it was busy but it felt comfortable and had a small community feel. The service was excellent. I had a 16 onze medium blend coffee and I was not impressed with the flavour. I will go back to try their specialty coffee. The service and atmosphere were great.
