We had a cake made for my sister in laws baby shower. Cake was delicious, cute and exactly what we wanted. Amy was very quick to reply to messages, requests and everything was done on time. Definitely recommend her for your next event. On a side note the M&M cookies are soft, chewy and really good.

I walked into Sweet Avenue Bakery looking to order a custom cake, and thought might as well grab a red velvet dessert - it was amazing. The staff was very kind and explained the ordering process. I contacted Amy and explained that I needed an eggless chocolate cake - showed a picture and she made it even better than I had imagined. The cake was delicious, and my family loved it. My new go to for desserts and cakes! Highly recommend Sweet Avenue Bakery!

We recently ordered a gluten free cake from Sweet Avenue Bakery on a recommendation from friends. Were very impressed with not only how beautiful the cake was, but the gf cake was delicious, one of the best we've ever had! We placed our order very last minute and the owner was extremely accommodating and helpful. The customer service and entire experience was excellent. We will absolutely be going back for our family cakes.

Shamefully it has taken me months to write this review. My daughter was spending the summer near Surrey and, as she has a June birthday, I needed to find a bakery that would create a beautiful vegan cake to surprise her. Sweet Avenue Bakery did not disappoint. The chocolate flavoured cake with coconut filling was delicious according to my daughter and all the lucky people who were there celebrating with her. We had a Zoom celebration and sang Happy Birthday as her boyfriend presented the lit cake. The cake was beautifully decorated with a silouette of a girl sitting on the cake, with pink icing flowers cascading across the top and down the side as her flowing dress. Thank you, Amy for helping to make the celebration extra-special!

I've been getting cakes/pastries/desserts from Amy for years. I love this new storefront she has. Parking is accessible and convenient, the actual shop is super cute and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The actual baked goods are delicious. Amy is a very talented baker; her custom cakes are beautiful and taste so scrumptious. The banana caramel toffee scone is DELICIOUS.

While on a Sunday walk trying to find some cinnamon buns, my girlfriend and I stumbled across Sweet Avenue Bakery. Not only did we find what we were looking for, but we were blown away by the selection inside, the friendliness of the staff, and just how tasty the cinnamon buns we found were. I first used Sweet Avenue Bakery for my daughter in laws bridal shower! I ordered a beautiful cake, cupcakes and even Cookies which were individually packaged to include with the gift bags. Then I used them for the wedding, which included a beautiful cake, cupcakes and cake pops! All were amazing and the guests are still talking about the cake pops! They even did vegan cupcakes as well. Then on Father's day we ordered the Father's day pack and it was AMAZING As well. Amazing customer service, beautiful delicious bakery items and fairly priced!

If you're vegan, skip this place. I tried so hard to eat the food we got there, because I hate wasting money and it's super expensive... But everything tasted like dirt. Literally; the cupcakes and the cookies both were dry and powdery, like sand had been mixed in. Similar to how some gluten-free bakery products are in texture except this was WAY worse and the flavour also tasted there was kitty litter in the recipes. Perhaps their non-vegan items are good? The icing had what tasted like ten times the amount of sugar that normal cupcakes have though, so I kinda doubt it, to be honest. :/

I popped into this bakery for a colleagues birthday treats after driving by it for the last few months on the way to work. I got a wide selection - cookies, cupcakes, tartlets and cupcakes. My usual go to place for ordering cakes and sweets. I got a doughnut themed birthday cake for my son and the coconut raspberry flavor was a hit with all of the guests! I recently got a fathers day BBQ box which was also a hit! Loved the twinkie hot dog and beer mini cake!! Amy is a pleasure to work with and provides exceptional customer service! Been here a few times and they have a good selection of baked goods, including some gluten free and dairy free options as well. The cupcakes I’ve had were super cute and has tons of icing. My latest cupcakes weren’t as moist, but I recall they were definitely softer before. I haven’t tried their cakes yet but I heard great things about them!

I’m obsessed with this bakery! I honestly go every week because I’m always craving the delicious cookies and love seeing all the new items the bakery has weekly! We have been ordering every single birthday or anniversary cake from here since it had been opened and now to have all the new freshly baked goods at our fingertips is amazing! I love how it has something for everyone! I would definitely without a doubt recommend this bakery for all party needs or just to have a treat once you grab your Starbucks! ( which is RIGHT NEXT DOOR) like how awesome is that!

We order Birthday cake for my husband 60th birthday, it was a custom made one of Thor’s hammer and red cape with the Avenger colours on the side. It looked fantastic and inside was a chocolate cake with peanut butter butter cream and it was wonderful. Thanks so much would use them again.

Stopped in for a small cake for my 50th birthday. Raspberry and white chocolate. Cake was dry dry dry and icing was overloaded with icing sugar, no discernible white chocolate flavour and very, very sweet. I would have hoped for a European buttercream at this pricepoint. I've had fantastic cupcakes from here before so this was very disappointing, especially for 45$. Would get cupcakes again but don't recommend the cakes. Bummer.

Sweet Avenue Bakery was the only place (out of 7 I had tried around South Surrey) that were kind enough to take on this task to prepare a cake on such short notice. Thought I'd give this bakery a chance after seeing it promoted on Instagram by another bakery in Surrey. I was underwhelmed by their display case and was thoroughly disappointed with their baked goods. Purchased four cupcakes and four cookies. After sampling each item they quickly ended up in the compost. The cupcakes were dry and tasted like they could have been premix from a box. Cookies were nothing special and tasted undercooked. They gave me the feeling of eating uncooked cookie dough from a tube. If you're looking for an amazing bakery in the Surrey area, you can't go wrong with Just Cakes Bakeshop off of 120th Street.

This place has amazing cupcakes !!!!! Red velvet cupcakes are divine. We tried 4 different cupcakes today and they were all impressive. Not sure if you guys are familiar with Katie’s cupcakes down in Bellingham but this tastes exactly like Katie’s (the old Katie’s before they sold it).
