Your kindness and generosity has proved the great work ethic of you and Short & Sweet Patisserie bakery . You by far exceeded my expectations. You did a fantastic job with the cake. I wanted to cry it was so beautiful. I did NoT want to cut it. The cake tasted absolutely amazing as well. My 3 year old son was so too excited with his POCOYO cake. We got our wedding cake and cupcakes from Short and Sweet, and Diana and Tammi were great to work with. We went in for our consultation without knowing what we wanted, and they took their time to walk us through different options and designs. The cake and cupcakes were beautiful (more beautiful than I had imagined) and super delicious! The cupcakes were a huge hit among our guests. Highly recommend!

Great bakery! The cinnamon buns are amazing, especially when warmed up. They make an assortment of macaroons, tarts, cupcakes etc. What surprised me was the fact that they make challah. Challah is a type of Jewish bread that is braided. Greeks have something similar, if not idantical except we call it tsoureki and it is made during Greek Easter, my grandma would make it every year.

My Fiancee and I won $300 towards a wedding cake from Short and Sweet at a wedding show! We booked an appointment to come in and choose flavours and designs. The staff are all incredible! Their designs are gorgeous, and their flavours are unbelievable! While freshly made baked goods can be more expensive than a normal grocery store, if you want quality and service, come to Short and Sweet! If you still aren't convinced, stop by and grab a cupcake. One bite and you'll know it's the right choice. It is very clearly a small business run by people who love what they are doing!

Have only tried macarons here so my review is solely based on macarons. They are on the pricey side. and wayyyy too sweet without any distinctive flavour. No chewy texture to the shells.

Where do I even start! Diana made this such an easy process from planning the cake all the way to designing and delivering to our wedding venue! Our guests loved it and the flavour was amazing- also some left over for our one year to freeze! Score! Thank you again for everything! ❤️

Today we purchased dozen macarons for our client. Items looked well made and delicious, however we felt we were not served well. We spend $27 for this gift, but but we felt we were rushed out. Packaging was a clear plastic container big enough to hold several more. This undesirable look of the container and the macarons moving all over was not what we intended to give to our client. Unfortunately, they lost our future business. In our opinion presentation and service is key to any successful business.

One of my friend recommended this place for cake for a very special party. Cake was beautiful and delicious! And service was amazing! Very accommodating, through and responsive. These women are full of talent. I am a customer for life. Definitely recommend this place!

Short & Sweet Patisserie and Bakery is the most UNPROFESSIONAL company that I have ever dealt with.I ordered a small Vegan First Birthday cake for my baby's birthday in September.I was very specific with the details.I requested a small plain cake ( no piping), number 1, his name with a bear topper that had a blanket that went over the top edges of the cake and matched my son's little bear. My friend ,who was also a client for many years of Short & Sweet Patisserie and Bakery was in the shop when I placed my order and heard my requests.I was not happy when I picked up the cake, as the cake had piping, the blanket of the bear did not go over the top of the cake(as requested)nor did it look like my son's bear.The number 1 and my son's name were so small they looked like an afterthought.Upon getting the cake home, I noticed the back of the cake had a crack in it.I messaged Tammy who basically refused to do anything. In addition to all the problems with the design of the cake, my baby "gagged" on the cake and other guests at the party mentioned the cake did not taste very good.The cake and icing were way too sweet.This small cake cost me $72, which is a ridiculous cost for a cake that looked like something you could pick up at the grocery store.If they had told me they couldn't match our bear or do my requests I could have picked up any old "bear" cake for half the cost.I paid $72 so I could have a First Birthday cake with my son's bear on it for the photos.I left a poor review on Short & Sweet Patisserie and Bakery's Facebook page as I was not happy with the cake or the fact they refused to do anything to help the situation.VERY poor customer service. It seems the owner's friends want to weigh in on my complaint on Short & Sweet Patisserie and Bakery's Facebook page, even though they were not present when I ordered the cake, nor did they taste the cake.VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

The ladies that own the bakery are amazing, helpful and super upbeat. I go on a Saturday morning to get delicious warm cinnamon buns with a side of cream cheese icing. Sooo good. Everything is good! Made with love and well worth the visit.

This bakery has some tasty items; my entire family and neighbours are obsessed with their lemon bars! However, I would argue that you kind of have to pick and choose at this place; some of their bars are nearly identical to the lemon ones, others are merely okay, etc. The cupcakes are light and fluffy, and they make a decent cake pop. But do yourselves a favour and eat their lemon bars. LIFE CHANGING.

My sisters and I almost gave up with our search for baby shower cakes for our 2 daughters/nieces. Then we found this gem of a specialty cake shop in a small plaza in Langley “Short & Sweet Patisserie and Bakery”. At first we didn’t think much of the place. When we went in we found out that one of my sisters actually knew her from their previous job and we actually talked about her minutes before we went there. What a coincidence! We were so pleased with her pleasant and comforting nature. We placed our orders but we were sceptical how the cakes would turn out. We were pleasantly surprised to see her creations. They were more than what we expected. The cakes looked like they basically came out of a magazine. Very very happy with what we got from this cake shop. I would totally recommend anyone to this cake shop. Thank you so much!! ❤️❤️ I will try to post pictures of the cakes.

I ordered a custom cake for my sister's 60th birthday and it was a show stopper! She is a quilter and the cake was perfectly designed and executed. She loved it. Thank you Diana for making her day extra special. And everyone was thrilled with the cupcakes as well! I will definitely be back and I've been recommending Short and Sweet to everyone!

Decided to try this place out... that was a mistake! I placed an order for a party tray wasn't too impressed with the customer service I recieved from Diana she wasn't very friendly. When I picked up my order I felt like I was inconvenience as soon as I arrived. I wasn't really too crazy about how the desserts looked. When I got to the venue to place them out , I noticed a long blonde hair stuck across the desserts. I called the owner Tammi, she apologized didn't really seem to care too much (I would say she's the more professional one out of the two). Ladies brush up on your customer service skills! I would have recommended your bakery to everyone if you had handled this entire situation differently. I'll just stick with my original bakery Sugar Patisserie which has the best service!

I usually stick to getting a cinnamon bun, but there weren't any left when I went to get one. I picked out what was called a Portuguese tart, and my GOD was that amazing. I also chose a creme brûlée which was?equally amazing. Needless to say, if you're craving a delicious pastry you should probably visit this cute little shop!.

I recently ordered a cake for my son’s birthday. $50 for a round vanilla cake to feed 10-12 people with a very simple “design” on it. Would’ve rather gone to Safeway and gotten much more for that price. I’ve also gotten a selection of baked goods in store- I wasn’t too impressed with any of them either. Again, rather go to Safeway. Their custom cakes do look pretty great but I can’t and won’t shell out the $$ I’m sure they cost.
