To be honest, we paid about 75$ odd for the cake, we thought for the overall quality m, it wasn’t worth it. We ended up throwing the outer covering of the cake, and ate the sponge. The fruit filling was very sparse. It’ll be a hard decision for us to consider reordering.

Amazing bakeshop! Came in for some cake jars after buying them at a local grocery story. Wanted to check out the actual bakery. We came near the end of the day so there wasnt too much left, but still able to grab 3 flavours of cake jars. I've tried the red velvet before, and it is amazing! The decadence is perfection. The mocha one is perfect in every way. Still making my way through the other jars but I know I wont be disappointed. Also tried the macarons here and they were good too. I might make it a mission to try all the other cake jar flavours. Right now Red Velvet and Mocha are at the top of my list. Service is also very friendly as well. I usually get overwhelmed with choices, but the ladies were great at recommending flavours. Also it's great to see a woman owned bakery, thriving in this world! Def come out and try their cakes and treats, you will not be disappointed, in fact you'll prob keep coming back for more.

Amazing bake shop in an extremely convenient location. I placed a phone order and the team at Just Bakes were kind enough to place my items on hold to ensure they weren’t sold out upon pickup. I ordered various jars and got a great deal. 4 jars for $20 felt like a steal. On a side note, the store is extremely Covid-safe as only one customer is allowed into the store at a time. The first time I ever had just cakes it was amazing. Last week I grabbed a few cake jars from Cloverdale. I was surprised how dry the cake was. It was the consistency of breadcrumbs as I scooped it with my spoon (previously the cake was so moist and bouncy) and the buttercream tasted bland (previously their Reese buttercream tasted like the reese filling, this time just tasted like butter). Maybe it was a bad batch, but I was a bit disapointed as it was not the quality I loved about them from before. Edit: Tried a few more times and there quality was top notch again! Just seemed like a bad batch that one time.

I had heard amazing feedback about this bake shop from a few friends. I decided to check it out myself on the Saturday of Mother’s Day weekend. I went in a few hours before closing and was quite surprised to find that they hardly had anything left. I was only able to walk out with two cake slices and one cake in a jar. While the cakes were truly quite delicious, I was disappointed that they had such little inventory left the day before Mother’s Day (not just right before closing; it was hours before closing). I also definitely got a feeling from the gal helping me that she didn’t want to be there. I was lucky that a nearby bakery had a plethora of options left, so I wasn’t left without options for my mom. But honestly, you’d think they’d have more inventory for a holiday weekend.

I paid close to $140 for my birthday cake and honestly it did not meet my expectations for such a price. The cake was good on its own but when had with the frosting it became crumbly and unpleasant.The custard like filling was not only unpleasant but also not appropriate with the cake flavor we ordered. A beautiful cake is pointless if the flavors aren't there. Definitely will not be ordering from here again.
