It's a low-end grocery store, similar to Extra Foods or Buy-Low. But the selection is not bad, and they have game meats from Hills Foods, which I really like. When they first opened I would find a lot of expired items still on the shelves and not clearance priced. They seem to have improved in that area.

I asked the butcher department if their Premarin at ed ribs had the silverskin removed she said yes it was not. Just bought what they call top sirloin steak marinated it overnight and cooked according to chef instructions.... tough as hell. NOT a sirloin.

Special order a cupcake for daughters birthday. Went in day before pick up to order a 2nd matching cupcake.only to find out the girl that was making them was off sick for next several days( not her fault) but the bakery never notified us. The bakery staff especially the Manager are pretty useless. People get sick. It's no big deal. But if I had not come in that day. We would not have found out till the day of my daughters party that our order was never made.

We have shopped regularly at this store since it opened approximately five years ago. It is not as busy as Superstores in the area and is smaller but carry many of the same great Presidents Choice products. Prices are reasonable as well. If you want to avoid the Superstore crowds, I highly recommend it.

They stock most of the same grocery items you'll find at a Loblaws/Real Canadian Superstore, but without the overwhelming store size, and checkout lines are much quicker. Highly recommend this place if you live in the Yorkson Creek or Willoughby area, and don't want to drive into Langley or Walnut Grove for your groceries.

Convenient location but they need to improve on the quality of food. Meat is almost always border line expired.....if it's not expired, chicken is sticky and lacy and has a weird smell/sticky juices flowing. Bought bread the other day which was hard and stale. Fruit and veg don't last long. Place is ok for small on the day requirements but definitely not recommended for your weekly shop. Meat/produce will go off is a few days.

I was in there the other day and I overheard an employee (female) from the bakery department talk to an employee from the meat department (male), she asked him what he was up to, and he responded "thinking about cleaning the freezer, its disgusting in there, like, don't eat the meat here" plus they have this creepy guy that just stands in the produce department, not doing a thing, either on his phone, or watching customers.. I've never seen him do anything other than that. needless to say after the conversation I overheard the EMPLOYEES talking about the meat freezer, I wont be going back again.

Was good when it first opened. Now produce is limited, not fresh. Very busy and hardly any cashiers. Cashiers always try to fit as many products into a bag as possible. I've had a number of bags break while walking to my car which was less then 60 feet from the entrance. Avoid if you can.
