Went to Langley store today, had what we needed. Staff aren't as friendly as Surrey store though. I find the clientele seem a little pushier and less polite than the Surrey location as well. But nothing is perfect always. Will stay with Surrey location mostly.

So this is a tricky one.... The store itself is fine in terms of selection and staff, no issues there. However..... as a shopping experience it is absolutely God awful. Going in and shopping is like trying to win and survive a human demolition derby. It's no secret that doing almost anything during Covid is not a enjoyable endeavor but if a retailer ever needed directional arrows & crowd control it's this one. The place is a cluttered claustrophobic mess of humanity. People on top of each other in every direction and trying to move in most parts of the store is a fight for survival. It was awful pre Covid and it's worse now. Costco's lack of corporate policies and in ability to adapt to the current times is shameful. I don't blame the staff in general this is about Costco corporate.... in fact without the staff this would be a 1 star review. Honestly Costco would it kill you to put down directional stickers and even attempt to try to keep some sort of organized flow of foot traffic and social distancing?

Love this Costco. We drive further to come to Langley Costco instead of the over crowded, East-indian mayhem that happens in the Surrey location. Langley is clean, actually follows the covid rules and the customer base isn't as... how do I put this... eastern in their way of doing things. Blocking people, not paying attention, not wearing masks like a proper adult. Go to Langley! It does everything right.

Terrible service, I showed two employees my membership card asked to access to WASHROOM, but they said NO, they wanted me to line up in the front door even though I told them I have an emergency to go to washroom. I understand they have a rule but I didn’t bring a cart that means I didn’t want to avoid to line up outside or need a shortcut to access the shopping area! They were so rude just refused to tell me other public washroom in the tire center I can quickly use, I was so disappointed with their service, so bad!

so a few weeks ago i went and got my new cell phone from this Costco in Langley. Selling the service was no problem, but when I came back a few weeks later to get my billing sorted out, there was no time for me. The worker just said it was out of his hands and at a different level. I went there on Saturday Dec 4th right after work just before 7pm and Was pretty frustrated considering I've already spent time on my phone trying to get my billing resolved.

Costco is pretty much always extremely busy, often with every parking spot full. To their credit, they usually run with all tills and customer service stations open, parking spots filled. It's a great store but it's a bit of a nightmare to get in during rushes like after work or on a weekend.

It's a Costco pretty much all the same. Staff are helpful and pleasant when I have needed them in Langley. Selection always good. Always some good deals to be had. Costco also always has the best parking spot sizes as well. Only negative is better traffic control required for gas lineup. It affects traffic on the main drag.

Prices are not as great as everyone thinks. Most of the product is American or Chinese, very little domestic support. Spend your money at Canadian businesses instead!

For a family, grocery shopping here is excellent value. The one in Medicine Hat seems to be equivalent to the ones in larger centres. They also bring in seasonal items in a timely manner and have excellent options for birthdays and celebrations. The meat department seems quite clean and well maintained, with many options. The staff is almost invariably friendly, even when they're swamped. My only complaint is they are sometimes understaffed at the cashiers and at the cafeteria.

Been to all the Costco’s in the Lower Mainland and this is my favourite. Though busy, particularly on the weekends, it’s not as hectic and stressful as other locations. People generally move along and don’t suddenly stop or have a family of 5 standing around, blocking aisles. Parking is also a bit less stressful. The gas line-up area is a lot larger than Langley’s and traffic flows well. I frequently see staff rearranging and refolding clothes, keeping displays orderly. During the peak of Covid protocols, they were well organized. Ample stock with produce and meats in good condition. Staff at the check-out are pleasant. The garden centre in the spring has good variety too.

My wife and I joined Costco in Burnaby when they first opened in BC back in the 80's. Costco Langley is our local warehouse now and we visit regularly. I went in this morning at 8 as I am in my 60's and Costco has an hour early for us Covid at Risk folks. I have to say how much I appreciate this time. It is quieter and less folks are in a rush so people give you the space ETC. Thanks Costco! Another member friendly policy.

If you don't mind busy atmospheres and a membership fee, Costco is THE best place to buy in bulk. They have the best quality products, for the best prices I have seen around. You can find most things you need there like clothing, groceries, toiletries and furniture. They change up their stock frequently for certain things, but the groceries stay reliably the same. This is one of my new favourite places to do my shopping.

DO NOT ORDER FROM COSTCO ONLINE very flawed system. You do not get your item when it arrives at the store. I ordered a gift for someone with a guaranteed delivery date for in store pickup. It arrived at the store on time but then can sit for a week or two until someone scans it as “able to be picked up”. It just sits at the store and you are unable to get your item. Contacted Costco online and the store and no one would help me or allow me to pickup my bought and paid for item that was sitting there.

What can you say about this costco It's an excellent store ,very tidy and if you hit it at the right time, it's not to bad regarding line ups. but they are very quick at getting you through even if it is very busy , The addition of the self serve check outs is fantastic,and very glad they did it finally , it helps a huge amount of you in a hurry , Prices are up a little higher but it is all over ,they have the best meat dept out of big box stores in Medicine Hat for the most part and very good variety. This place is awesome. Food service is crazy fast. Employees here are starting and very helpful. Self checkout is a boon. Saves so much of our time. But it is extremely flakey. Dies many a times and then hangs. Parking is a problem like every other Costco center. But you eventually will find one if you keep circling around. Gas station is also creepy sometimes. Rejecting my card first and then same card works after few tries.

I find the membership is worth it just for quick, inexpensive lunch dates from their concessions area. $10ish for two hot dogs, two drinks and a large yummy poutine to share is a decent treat that can be worked into a budget fairly well. The $3.15 just for the hot dogs and drinks is even easier to fit in. Don’t forget to ask for sauerkraut, onions or peppers for your hot dogs - I love their toppings choices :) So far, they have had the best purchase-able poutine I have tasted in Medicine Hat, too! The concessions area staff are always smiling and welcoming. Being able to research larger home purchases using their website has also been very helpful. We are looking forward to exploring some of the home services they offer, like internet, soon. Overall, shopping here can be pricey, but if you learn how to shop here for your family’s needs, it can be worth it.

I wanted to give a shout out to Yashika for helping us out with the jewlery purchase, even despite really not wanting to begin with. I thank you for your help and the time you took, it got us out of the store in minimal time and brightened our day. That said, it would be a great idea, especially during pandemic, for jewlery customers (or stamps, watches, ect. Everything that has to come out of the "vault") that only have "vault" items to go to the ladies that would have to get the items anyways. Not only it keeps lines shorter but it also gets customers out of the store sooner, no need to be around other people (potentially sick) for more then you have to...or keep store at higher occupancy.

Costco is a great place to get an assortment of goods, from cheap (but good quality) clothing, food, pre made lots of groceries, electronics, to much more, if you are feeding your family, and want to get bulk food at a good price, then this is the place you'll love. They also have a small kitchen that serves great food at a amazing price. You really can't go wrong shopping at costco. Plus gas is cheaper at their pumps, and with gas prices as high as they are now, your membership will quickly pay for itself.

I had my black ink cartridge refilled and within a couple of weeks my printer was no longer printing. I had printed a couple of dozen sheets of paper. Apparently ink cartridge refills are the only thing that are not refundable because a person cannot prove how much they printed. Too bad I wasted $50!

I've liked this location just fine, but my visit today was a bit sickening. The produce (the 5lb bags sweet potatoes, to be specific) was rotten. Not a little rotten, but sticky, moldy, dripping rotten with all 4 bags I had checked, before getting goo on my hand. This is nothing if not unacceptable. Though, unsafe would have to come to mind. Tighten up your ship.

First experience with Costco Pharmacy (Waiting in line wasn’t even an issue for me) > I dropped off drug prescription on Thursday with full details on my insurance > Came to pick it up on Sunday > The prescription wasn’t processed via insurance > They took 25 mins to recreate the bill with insurance coverage > Lost my insurance card and asked me to come again to pick it - I pushed for it and they finally found it > When I collected my medication, out of 3 one was missing, so I was again back to square one in drop off line > Spent extra 40-45 mins only to find out that third drug wasn’t processed via insurance again. Good effort in ensuring everyone has a mask by creating 2 lines one for those who have masks and another for those who don't but little is being done inside the store to ensure that everyone is wearing a mask . We have had a membership for over 10 years. My husband went in to spend the cheque, since they won't let me use it, even though we have the same account, address and last name. The line ups were super long and there was no cones or system to say if there is a line or what it is for? He went to get dinner on the way out and an employee told him to take his cart outside or to the car, then come back in. Where is the customer service or convenience? For a multi-billion dollar company, their customer service is slipping and the parking and line up logistics stink.

I live exactly between this location and the Surrey location. The Surrey location is a madhouse but this Costco seems like our usual go to place. Staff is incredibly patient and nice. Really feel bad for the ladies who constantly have to fold the piles of clothes. The store is very nicely laid out. Maybe its just me...that it has grown on me. Can walk around blindfolded, no issues.

What can I say, I love Costco! Parking lot is amazingly not always full but that may just be due to the location (Langley vs Newton, Surrey). This could also be the cause for the store to be easier to navigate and the checkout lines not making me want to give up on everything. Also they always have those rigid empty boxes for carrying out purchases (and packing!) Finally, I get my prescriptions at this location and Debbie is the nicest assistant - took the time to explain details about my insurance and discount card with medication.

I am absolutely disgusted with Costco's refill ink cartridges. I had them refilled few months ago and I was unable to use my printer because I didn't have the gray cartridge and it wouldn't print without it so there were a few things that did print but very very little. I got the gray cartridge yesterday put it in and the rest of the cartridges that i had gotten re filled are all empty. I'm so fed up... I have done everything I know to do to get it to print but nothing comes out

She said to me that she was upset about not having a packer but that she rarely complains to management. I felt obligated to help pack so I did. Typically there is a packer helping the cashier but today in the morning rush she was left abandoned. On a positive note the store was really well maintained. Due to the new program in place; you can’t enter Costco with out your membership card. Even if all you want to do is feed your screaming toddlers in the back seat with a fast hotdog or poutine. Also, once you get past the employee only doing his job, you should know the once “cash only” kiosk no longer accepts the queens money as now they are “debit only.” If you’re like me and said well hey I’ll just go to customer service and buy a gift card... remember the smallest gift card they sell is $50.00 If you are also like me; you’re wondering what the advantage is for paying for an executive membership? I’m still trying to figure that out. I rated these guys 5 stars before as in the past they have been amazing. They need to review their practices and I need to change my membership. There are plenty of places easier to eat at than all the hoops Costco makes their members jump through.

Overwhelmingly positive experience at the Medicine Hat Costco, specifically in regards to social distancing and capacity limits. Additionally, the membership desk and team member there was a joy to work with as we completed our registration. The bakery department here was operating like a well oiled machine, and the quality of product was beyond what I expect. I would give this a four star rating but over the last year the congestion is getting way out of hand. The parking is simply brutal because of the gas station that has line ups and the cashiers are amazingly friendly but the lineups are once again a really huge negative. Great products, great staff but the listed issues in my opinion are really big issues overall. Open a second store to alleviate the severity of traffic or remove the gas station. I'm sure that the gas station being removed won't happen. The prescription lines are often huge and unnecessary compared to other stores. I usually don't rant about this type of situation but I feel this could have been addressed awhile ago.

I will travel 25 minutes to go to the Langley Costco. Their staff are always friendly, the lines move well and the cashiers are so efficient. People that shop in Langley know the etiquette of how to move through the aisles. No leaving their carts in the middle. Btw, they also have a gas station there with way better gas prices than the other stations anywhere in metro Vancouver.

It was beyond busy. Usually when I go there is a normal amount of shoppers and adequate parking, this time the lot was packed, cars just blocking traffic as they waited for a spot. There was no way to social distance inside as it was easily three carts across all isles. Mask was optional, but I was disappointed in the amount of people without as it was packed inside. I will return as it's the best store to fill my families needs, and since I support them as a business over most others.

I went to Costco to buy one item but, picked up a few more. There weren't any lineups at the cashiers other than the person paying. I asked for assistant of where one product was, and luckily found someone close enough. The employee gave me clear directions and I had no problem finding it. Costco warranty of the products they carry is very good, and no problem returning anything if the need to be. Costco is a busy store at most of the times. Their parking lot can become challenging during busy times, especially closer to the entrance. Most of the stores can learn from Costco on how to space their parking lots.

As always Costco is a great retailer. We have been long time members and have appreciated the store policies. Recently, we purchased an LG washer and dryer. We received great service from the store employee, who was surprisingly knowledgeable about the products. His service sold us on the purchase. The cost of the purchase also included delivery and setup. So why a 3 star rating. The 3rd party delivery company, Metro2Home, in my opinion does not meet the Costco standard for service. Waited all day for the delivery and even called the delivery driver twice on their provided mobile number. No return calls and no contact from Metro2 Home. 2 days after notification of delivery, I don’t know where the washer and dryer are. I suggest Costco engage a service that meets the company’s high standards. I wouldn’t mind paying a nominal fee for delivery and setup.

When I come back to my "home town" to visit family, I always drop by here -- usually to get gasoline (a good excuse) and then check the samples. There are few Costco warehouses this quiet (probably not a good thing from a corporate perspective) and this one is a joy to shop in. Parking is easy, checkout is fast and returns go quickly. And back to the samples -- in my Calgary Costco I avoid the sample tables but here there is so little competition the staff offer them to you!

Love Costco. You can save lots of money here buying in bulk and their freezer aisle has a plethora of options. The best part I'd say is the cheap eats at the food court- $1.50 for a hot dog and drink or a huge slatter of poutine for $6. A "one slice" of pizza is actually two pieces. Only downside is that finding parking is difficult!

This new location is about a year old , the building and its contents have moved from the old location at Bellis Fair Parkway , to the new location on Highway I-5 ( three to five minutes away ). The interior design is pleasantly familiar , allowing for a quick location of product that you were looking for. (I love that new and fresh store smel)

I have been a member of Costco for several years and love the value they deliver to me as a customer (5 star).My one star review is for another reason. I have a Charter protected exemption to wearing a mask. When I shop at Costco I am routinely hassled and badgered, and I don’t mean for a couple minutes, I mean for the entire shopping experience. They often physically hold my cart and follow me around the store (Once, 5 staff members were following me) so the only groceries I can buy are the ones I can hold in my hands. For this reason I now do 9/10ths of my grocery shopping at competing grocery stores where I am treated with dignity and respect. As much as I love saving money and a good bargain, I can't justify doing business with a corporation that has a policy in place that discriminates against minorities.

Although the quantity of items is large, I find it easy to portion and wrap them at home. Costco has a more limited selection than a major chain but the value stands in the forefront. I will only buy meat from Costco because the hygiene standards are far and above Alberta Health Act. They also sell so much meat, nothing lingers on the shelves for long. The store is tidy. The staff are helpful and friendly. I easily save more money than I pay for a membership.

Love/Hate relationship with this place: LOVE a good deal; HATE crowds of slow-moving ppl and parking nightmares. I will never understand ppl who come here for gas fill-ups! Even as someone who loves a good deal, I would happily pay 10c more a litre to go to an empty gas station & not have to deal with NIGHTMARE parking and line-ups that extend out to 64th Ave! Parking is absolutely horrendous; the place is always disgustingly crowded; staff are always borderline rude and apathetic; and the building is depressing to be in. I try to only go 2-3x a year and stock-up as much as possible. That being said, if you can manage to fight through all this lol, yes you can certainly find some great deals and save a lot of money. Good return policy.

Always a great one-stop bulk grocery shopping experience. I can't come out of here after planning to do a simple milk and bread run without something like a cast-iron pan set and a new set of wipers for my car, so that's an issue for my wallet. They've got almost everything under the sun, with large quantities and good prices to boot. However, as bad as it may be for finances, a trip is never complete without a basket of poutine which for some reason might be the best poutine in western Canada. Tends to be hit-or-miss, depending on the heat of the gravy being adequate to slightly melt the curds. That aside, it's still a great stop for a quick bite after groceries.

Parking is terrible. Honestly they need to build another Costco. South Surrey would be a great location. I font feel its right to have customers crammed in a store the way this location does. Customers pay a annual fee to shop there. So why have look for parking for over ten minutes. Why have them waiting in long line ups at the pharmacy. Parking us terrible and got worse with gas station added. Also in spring and summer more parking us taken for flowers and gardening. Simple solution for a billion dollar company. Build another Costco.

Returned a defective item with no stress at all, and picked up a replacement and, off course, a couple of other things we just needed to have. A lot of people in the store, parking was hard to find. People parked in no parking fire zones didn't make it easier and a lot less safe walking and driving. Staff we talked with were helpful and happy. I go with a friend in a wheelchair. They are very accomodating. I accidentally left a purchased item and when I went back, the manager who came to address my issue was very helpful and understanding. She was the one who actually found the item laying on a vacant check-out counter thinking a customer had left it there choosing not to buy it. Deli workers can be found putting together meals with no gloves on and managers are very condescending if you must speak to them. During my 5 year span of working with PWD (the people who put out food samples) i have seen very unhygenic handling of produce including one time when a bird was in the store for over a month. (it's gotta eat and go to the bathroom sometime) good place to get crap service, crap quality goods and Hep A!

The pharmacy is great with all of my family’s prescriptions, you can’t beat the dispensing fee either. Very friendly helpful employees throughout the store. Go at non peak times ... this is an extremely busy location. A couple of very dangerous must haves are the Keto dark chocolate squares and dark chocolate almond butter cups. Goat cheese, eggs/whites, cottage cheese, Greek yogurt 3 big tubs non fat, popcorn, vitamins, salad kits, romaine these are the staples for us. Big jar Kal olives are really good esp chopped up on pizza. Red pepper spread also a favourite. One thing I can’t find that was so good is a balsamic fig dressing they stopped carrying it a long time ago, wish they would bring it back. I don’t buy too much meat unless on sale, organic ground beef is good but very pricey. The duck sweet potato dog food is the only brand my dogs don’t react to however the last couple of batches have been pretty bad very crumby like the bottom of the bag residue throughout the entire bag. I did return 2 of these bags no problem but is still annoying. From the food court I get a latte with extra shots it’s no additional charge usually I ask for 4 or 5..... nighshift :/

Every costco is same in NA. We went there asked for some membership trouble, it was happy and easy to fix. Keep standard serve quality and even better. We were visiting at a busy time, little bit hard to find parking lot. Need to wait a little bit, and find somewhere available. Mask still recommended, large population appear in a close area. All carts and touching screen or items and sanitized. It is kind of a safe and nice place to shop

However, it's crowded like all other Costco locations are.I wish Costco in general would extend their operating hours to spread out the crowd. We waited 20mins for our order not because they have to cook it, but because staff who's handling/giving away orders accidentally thrown away our order number.

So much nicer than the Surrey location. Clean, friendly staff, lots of stock. I drive the extra distance to Langley to avoid Surrey which is gross. Surrey is always a mess, out of stock and full of rude customers blocking all the aisles as they don't seem to understand grocery store etiquette. I've actually seen several reviews mentioned this. They need to redo the parking lot. It's always too full to find a spot and the super long gas station line up just adds to the mess as the gas station lineup blocks the entry to the parking lot. It's usually a huge long traffic jam. I never use this gas station as the line is ridiculous.

You get everything in bulk here. You need to purchase a 60 dollar membership card every year. They will check your card and receipts on entry and exits. If you are thinking about fo a shopping for more than one household and want to share the money in between and collect all the rewards this is where you have to come. The thing i hate here is they would put all your groceries into a cardboard box not into a bag . which sucks..but i recommend

Arrived about 1 p.m. on a Tuesday. Found parking easily. Gave out masks if you didn't have one. Some people still didn't wear them but most did. We were given wipes for cart and hand sanitizer. Aisles were fairly busy but I lucked out at cashier. No wait Yahoo!

This Costco used to be my favorite place to shop and get gas. After today though, I will never be back. I was so shocked when I stopped counting at 18 UNMASKED shoppers within moments upon entering the store. When I spoke to the manager, he told me that Costco (not sure if all locations, but this one for sure) is not enforcing the Provincial Indoor Mask Mandate and shoppers only need to wear a mask if they want to. I was told I could call the Medicine Hat By-Law Enforcement department if I wanted to. I did contact the Medicine Hat By-Law Enforcement department and was told that as there is no local mask By-Law in place, there was nothing they could do and they advised me to file a complaint with Alberta Health Services - which I did. Needless to say I left the store, without purchasing anything and went to the Hill Safeway where they are complying with Provincial Indoor Mask Mandate. Beyond disappointing to have this location be so reckless when Alberta and Medicine Hat are in a Covid Crisis!

I just love shopping at Costco because of the great selection and friendly staff. However, today at around 11:15 am, the lady manning the exit door was a little cranky. After she gave me my receipt back, I folded it to put in my wallet as I’ve done a hundred times before. Apparently, I didn’t do it quickly enough because she told me to move along as there was a line up. I turned around and saw maybe two carts. I just shook my head and walked out the doors. I was wondering why she was that impatient. One thing the Pandemic has taught me the last three months is to SLOW DOWN. Just relax Costco lady, please. Besides, you’re in Customer Service.

Hey Costco, when you do a major adjustment of your shopping hours it deserves more than a little note attached to the wall at the store entrance. I was there for seniors/first responders hours today, Wednesday, only to learn that starting this week those hours are now only available Tuesday and Thursday, There were more than a few upset people at the 8AM gate today. Maybe in the future you could put large banners at the entrance/exit, post the changes on the cashiers receipt, or have the cashiers notify people for a few weeks beforehand. Not too many people I know read the wall while entering or log on before a routine Costco shop to check for any changes. Forty minutes out of my life I'll never get back.

I've given this rating with regards to their customer service. On some days, I would encounter workers at the entrance or at the cashier/packing who have an "attitude" when dealing with customer (me). I simply asked for a masked politely already, and the worker insisted me to add "please" to my request. Their tone and attitude were not at all friendly and welcoming. With regards to the worker packing the products bought, they just toss the items into the cart without any care. I understand it's a bit busy, but this is not how they should be handling the products we are purchasing. It saddens me to experience this kind of customer service when all the other workers show great and friendly attitude.

I was a Regular here, however, recently I notice that they hire people that don’t speak or understand proper English. I was directed to line up and then when an agent saw me they told me to line up at another line. I think if you make a mistake, knowing it wasn’t your customer problem. You should honor and own up to your mistakes and not waste customer time.

I've almost had enough of Costco and rude employees whether its the tire department or meat department, in the last week i had to deal with rude people. Crowded aisles, no directional aisles. The store seems to take covid and the provincial health orders as a joke. I am shocked they havent been fined or shut down. Prices are unpredictable. Some amazing deals, other things are surprisingly expensive. Good place to shop if you don't believe covid is real.

What can I say about Costco that you don't already know? At least this one is hardly ever busy, so the shopping experience is somewhat pleasant compared to the big city Costco. I may make a personal observation, though. The prices here are good if you're buying bulk and looking for brand name products. If your main shopping objective is singularly price, then the local Real Canadian Superstore is just as good, or better than Costco. If you're a regular purchaser of bulk supplies, consider driving to the closest Wholesale Club to get even better deals than either of the above-mentioned stores.

Costco pharmacy is good for its low dispensing fee, but the monkeys behind the bars keep messing up my wifes insulin prescription. It's either a lots script or they can't count units of insulin... Been here 3 times this week to try and fix the issue. Even had to visit the doctor again to get a new script for them. Fire the pharmacists and hire robots at this point it would be much better.

Don't get me wrong. Costco is great but this location is a zoo. Lack of parking is a major con. They need to add more parking spots or find another location with more parking and put in more checkout lanes. The lines tend to get quite long...compared to other Costco's in the states, the line ups could move a lot faster.

Parking here is ridiculous. Pretty much any time of day you will have issues finding a spot. The store itself is well laid out and aside from oblivious customers blocking aisles, it's pretty easy to find what you're looking for. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful if you need assistance. There is however one older blonde lady who is always rude, I think her name is Karen, but I'm not sure as it's been a while since I got close enough to her to read her name tag. Overall the two starts I took off the rating are due to the customer base here and the parking lot that is too small to accommodate the population of the area this store serves.

I would not recommend purchasing tires from Medicine Hat Costco and I will never be purchasing a set of tires from them again in the future. The product itself was amazing but the service I received was completely unacceptable. My tire purchase journey started roughly two months ago when I made the purchase. I visited Medicine Hat Costco and received great service from Brandon when making my purchase. I was interested in this tire purchase due to a rebate offered through Costco where I would receive a cash card as part of my purchase. He gave me the correct information I needed to find the right set and helped me through the purchase. At this point, I was super happy with my purchase and the service I received. Two weeks later, the tires were received in at the warehouse and I made an appointment to get them installed. Had no issues with the installation initially and everything was going great! The first issue was around the receipt of the cash card. What was advertised as an incentive you would receive within 7 – 10 business days quickly turned into a nine week wait. At this point, I visited the warehouse to get additional information but was immediately directed to a customer service line. I eventually did receive the promotion but not after calling and requesting what was originally advertised as an incentive to my purchase. Not a big issue but would be nice if Costco communicated the actual delivery time for incentives/rebates for tire purchases. The second and glaring issue was the unacceptable service I received in store today. On my drive to work this morning, I got a flat tire. I am by no means technically automotive savvy and as a result I was unable to put my spare tire on. I went to a fountain tire on my route to have someone have a look at the issue. At the rate my tires deflated the technician confirmed that the issue was with the workmanship of the bond between the tire and the rim. They also examined the tires and confirmed that there was no nails or punctures in it. I ended up paying for a repair and as noted on my receipt. I immediately went to Costco after having my tires repaired as I was concerned that the other three tires should be checked as well as I travel frequently for work. I waited patiently to speak with Dan, the manager for tires, who mentioned that he took offence to my enquiry. He didn’t bother to examine my other three tires to ensure the work was done properly and also refused to reimburse me $30 I was required to pay to have the tire bonded back onto the rim and installed. I understand that the reimbursement would have been a complimentary one-time thing and I shouldn’t expect to be reimbursed. However, I do feel that it was completely unacceptable that a manager would be so rude and also not check the workmanship of the other tires. This is especially concerning as I am a senior citizen who isn’t able to check them myself. I ended up having to go to a third tire store to have my rims and tires looked at. Dan even had the audacity to end the conversation with “maybe you shouldn’t buy tires at Costco”. I’d be happy to return them if Costco didn’t already scam me with a limited life expectancy return policy on this product which comes into effect after installation which they are required to do if you want your warranty...
