Love this cafe! The location is right by the canal but parking is easy to find. I love swinging by before wandering along the canal. The staff are always really nice and the coffee is top notch! Whether you decide to grab a quick coffee to go, work on your laptop, read or even just relax; It’s a cozy wholesome cafe! I always enjoy the aesthetically pleasing atmosphere and of course their top quality coffee. The cafe is fully bilingual from their friendly staff to the products they sell. I consider this cafe as one of Lachine’s treasured hotspots and definitely recommend it to everyone.

It used to be a nice place to stop for a coffee on the riverbank. Our last two visits were so disappointing. The chai latte was disgusting. We gave it another try few weeks later, we got cappuccino, witch again was undrinkable let aside it was not a cappuccino since the milk foam was nonexistent. The service is mediocre and the owner that was there when I tried to get a proper cappuccino explained in a very condescending voice that if I wanted to add warm milk I would have to pay extra...(for a product was already overpriced and way below standard)

We stopped by this coffee on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, the decor is definitely cosy, the cactus, the smell of the beans, the only reason for my 2 stars. I’ve been on coffee trips all around the world, never have I had a barista serve me with so little care and passion. I’m sure their beans are great but she wasn’t qualified to serve it, typical hipster part timer. I left a tip even though there was no service or appreciation.

Hands down the best coffee you will find in the west-island. The beans come from a small Albertan ethical supplier called Phil and Sebastian (You can look them up online). The flavor is unique, chocolatey and nuanced. The decaf beans are just as good as the regular ones. The menu is simple, has all the classics (latte, cappuccino, americano, etc.) and each option is crafted to perfection; The weight of grains is measured precisely and all the baristas are well trained making it one of the most consistent and expertly crafted coffee I know in Montreal. Every time I go, I know my cappuccino or latte will be made perfectly and taste pretty much exactly the same as the last time. And if you do not like regular milk, they offer a high quality barista line of milk alternatives (soy, coconut and almond milk are available) so the texture and taste of your latte will be just as good, if not better than your regular milk latte. They also have a small but delicious selection of home made and local foods and pastries if you are hungry. The place is clean and ambiance is top notch. It's what you'd expect from a nice quaint cafe in Montreal: a rustic modern mix with accents of succulent florals, local art and chill music. I've seen some criticize it for being small, but the place is not located in a very busy urban area so it is very rarely packed; I've always seen free chairs to sit and so I'm not sure why people complained about this. Plus, they just renovated/extended the place, so there is more space now. And even if you can't find a seat, the door opens to the largest and most beautiful waterfront in Montreal so you can just go for a nice walk and/or sit by the water. The only complain I would have is that the place closes a little bit early (I think 5pm during the week and 6pm on the week-end). It seems to me that they are missing out on some business in the spring/summer/fall evenings. You can't go here for your after dinner cappuccino or shot of espresso or evening studying/work session, or evening coffee and walk by the water. It's a shame because the Lachine waterfront area is busy during those times and there are no alternatives for a good coffee (that I know of). I suspect this will change sometime in the near future as the demand will keep on growing and growing as Lachine keeps on revitalizing in the next couple of years.
