I used to thrill at going to pick up a delicious baguette here, but since the pandemic, I have had only rotten experiences. Their little "line-up guards" revel in their new found petty authoritarianism yelling at customers who dare stand on the wrong step while waiting, push customers out that linger for a few moments too long. Such a massive disappointment. I encourage all customers to go else where if possible until they get their act together.

Today I was refused to be served by Marco or Marcel, don't remember his exact name (assistant manager) who played the role of sanitizer police in the store. So that mr. assistant manager is informed, there is no law in the province of Quebec which mandates store owners to require mandatory sanitizer use for its customers. Thanks to mr. assistant manager, my daughter was late for school because I was not able to purchase her lunch at the store. On the other hand, baguettes use to taste pretty good and now they taste like pure yeast.

The franchise should revoke their license. I'm use to the service of the Première Moisson on the Plateau M'ont-Royal. Staff are friendlier and they work much faster. I came in few times in the morning at the Monkland location and their soup was not even ready yet. Very disappointing! I had to go to the bakery right in front where the soup was ready to be served.

Like any other premiere miss on location, place is so well organized, smell fresh bread and all kind of sweets. And to top it all, employees are so nice and professionals. The way they deal with bread, manipulating and packing it in order to be delivered to customers is really impressive, it's like they are dealing with precious stones. I'm really impressed there. Recommended for every body who have a good taste in things .

How incredibly disappointed I was with my order of cappuccino served in a very tiny cup and accompanied by an underbaked chocolate almond croissant. All in addition to an olive bread that tasted as if it was on preservatives overload. At this particular locale, I was at least hoping for a welcoming terrace; unfortunately disappointed there too. I visited the one in Laval near Centropolis and their service was great, fast and welcoming. It is a bit pricey compared to some other pastry shops that will give you twice the size for the same price. However, quality products are more expensive so you need to decide what you want. Anyway, I highly recommend their cakes for small groups. If you want a huge cake, I recommend Italian and Greek Pastry shops.

I have debated Première Moisson vs Pain Doré for a long time. I generally prefer Première Moisson because it has more cakes and they're great. The PM at Gare Centrale is the one I go to the most and it's really busy, but they work really hard and it shows. I order my cakes in advance usually. This is not the location for sitting quietly. It's in a food court in a hallway at a major hub in downtown Montreal. Their apple turnovers are amazing!

bought the strawberry shortcake on my way home at the franchise located in Metro Bonaventure yesterday for a birthday celebration. The cake was stale and i was very embarrassed. I am hooked on the croissants from Boulangerie Premiere Moisson. I have been to three of their locations, and they all have not disappointed me. The croissants are fresh, very tasty, and delicious. The plain croissants are buttery and have lovely flakiness to it. The almond croissants are not like all others. It has almond paste baked into the center, and it almost tastes like a soft, flaky cake. It was delicious. There are street metered parking which makes it very easy to access by car. They take both cash and credit card. They speak the universal language of pointing my finger at their croissants. But they also speak French and English in case you can't use your pointing finger. I would come back again. If you are visiting Montreal, this chain of boulangerie is a must visit. Try the croissants and let me know. If you know other boulangeries, please also let me know.

If you go to Atwater Market on a Sunday morning, the longest line will be at Premiere Moisson. It's a well-known bakery selling breads and pastries daily. No matter what you get, the pastries and breads are soft and fresh. My loaf of bread was delicious as was the chocolate croissant.

A ce moment une des préposées vient en aide pour servir en passant devant la section des pâtisseries où j’étais arrêtée depuis un moment et elle m’a ignorée pour aller prendre la commande des personnes qui étaient venu après moi. Au départ, je me suis dit qu’elle ne m’avait pas vu alors c’est très naturellement que j’ai tenté de l’interpeller afin de comprendre la raison pour laquelle j’étais ignorée. Elle était venue chercher des gants juste en face de moi et récupérer le palmier d’une cliente venu après moi, je l’ai interpellé plusieurs fois en disant « madame, madame, madame », elle a fait mine de ne pas m’entendre, m’a marmonner quelque chose en me tournant le dos. J’étais tellement offusquée et surprise par ce manque de respect que je la suivais du regard pendant qu’elle se dirigeait vers sa caisse. Visiblement, je n’ai pas été la seule à avoir été traitée avec ce manque de respect, un autre client l’a aussi interpellé, j’imagine catastrophé de ne pas avoir été pris en charge et qu’une autre personne soit pris en charge avant lui. À lui, elle lui a demandé de patienter. Je me suis sentie tellement insultée par ce total manque de respect, de considération que je suis partie du magasin. Il y’avait trois employés sur le plancher et aucun des trois n’a bougé le petit doigt alors que cette situation s’est déroulé sous leur nez. Je trouve cela inadmissible. Les pâtisseries sont bonne par contre le service à la clientèle laisse grandement à désirer. Il serai pertinent de mieux former le personnel sur les valeurs du respect, de la courtoisie, du sourire et aussi faire vivre une expérience aux clients qui rentrent dans vos magasins. Il existe une pléthore de pâtisseries aussi bonne les unes que les autres alors ce qui fera la différence et fidélisera la clientèle est la façon dont ils sont traité. Sachez que le bouche à oreille demeure depuis toujours la meilleure technique de communication marketing. De plus, il est toujours plus coûteux pour une entreprise d’acquérir de nouveaux clients versus fidéliser ceux déjà existants. Pour ma part, je ne ferais plus jamais affaire avec la chaîne première moisson.

I normally have good experiences with Premiere Moison, unless each franchise works different. Customer service is ok. Variety of products is ok. My issue: I had ordered a small “strawberry shortcake” for my daughter’s bday. A small one because it was for both. I do not leave near by and I went all the way there for one (ordered a week before). This bakery offers this type of cake with strawberry jam in the middle ?!?! I mean, a strawberry shortcake should be exactly the same here or there! On top, their cakes are so expensive, 36$ (with taxes) for a small cake that only had steamer ties at the top for decoration?! Ridiculous! If they can make a proper one, simply remove it from the menu.. My daughter and I are very disappointed...

I bought a baguette around 4:00 pm on Friday to have with dinner but it was not fresh, in fact it was stale and was only edible with lots of butter and toasted as garlic bread. Luckily it was not to bring to dinner to a friend's, I would have been embarrassed. I won't be buying from there again, I wanted to support my local business but it's not worth it if they can't commit to offering fresh bread, which is basic for a bakery.

Montreal's favorite premium bakery! They have a great variety of fresh bakery products to choose from. We are a big fan of their super delicious and rich cakes and pastries! Friendly and knowledgeable staff; free parking was available at this location. We bought a Tiramisu Cake for a friend and everyone in their family liked it. You can also buy breads, cookies, pies, macaroons and ready-to-go meals.

This bakery at Atwater market has a very extensive range of products on offer, from bread to sandwiches, to cakes to pastries, to coffee and take away food such as rebake-at-home pies. There's ample seating to eat in between tables near the food counters through to more seating in a downstairs dining area. These areas are occasionally attended to for cleaning (especially the downstairs area) and generally people put their used dishes (there's hardly any cutlery available) up in the dirty dish and rubbish area. To begin, we had hot chocolates along with a couple of pastries (the sugar tart and a danoise). The hot chocolate was made with chocolate powder and machine frothed milk and wasn't bad, maybe not as good as ones made with real chocolate pieces and with a strong chocolate taste). The pastries were very well made, though the sugar tart was really sweet (yes, I guess it was a sugar tart!). We then took away a rebake-at-home pork tourtiere that made a nice dinner, probably with a bit more potato filling inside than I would have liked but seasoned well.

Best bakery in Laval! Products are always fresh they have some of the best pasteries I’ve ever tasted. They also offer excellent lunches, like sandwiches, salads, soups, etc. Prices are on the high side no doubt about it but you get what you paid for and you won’t regret it. You might have to wait a couple extra mins since it’s always full around lunchtime. I recommend this place to anyone with a sweet tooth :)
