I love this place! They do a fantastic smoked salmon bagelwich, and their bagels are always delicious and fresh. Traditional wood oven and many flavours available in half dozens, and they always have fresh poppyseed and sesame seed ones by the dozen, half-dozen, or individually.

Very good but unfortunately not handicap accessible. Has three stairs at the entrance no railing nothing metal steps. Unfortunately I can't go there without help and I am handicapped but not in a wheelchair and again it's not accessible to even somewhat handicap.

The boss AKA Van Morrison is super friendly. His day old bagels sell out quick because they are cheaper and in my opinion are as good as the warm ones fresh out of the oven. His sandwiches are a bit pricey but very delicious.

Found the guy a split-personality. One minute, he was happy, next minute super rude....he had not a lot of patience for people visiting his shop for the first time and expected everyone to know how everything goes the moment you walk in. Kept on making our order as per his wish. Chose bagel on his own, chose cream on his own. When we asked him that the menu says we can choose the bagel/cream, he said 'oh, too late i made the choice for you' very rudely. We asked him if he accepts card, and he said yes ofc, i have to, to stay in business. When his machine gave him trouble at pay time, he got all frustrated and said, well you would have to pay cash if this doesn't work (for $4 bagel that was already eaten). Asked us about our religion, when we mentioned, he said, 'it's okay we're all humans at the end'... What does that supposed to mean?.... Definitely not going back. Went to st viateur and it was a much better experience than this place EDIT: A) this comment was written before July 23rd and B) not everyone writes about their experience the moment they walk out of the store. Our experience occured on Jun 30 (see attached transaction) and C) no one has that much time to write a fake review UNLESS their experience was bad, so try working on improving your customer service skills rather than lying.

First shop I stopped by on my staycation. Owner was rude to me, way to ruin my first day off from work. Also pricey, but not really an issue since it's what I would have paid for a bagel sandwich if I were on a real vacation. The lady who handed me my order was nice though, and the sandwich was pleasant and had very fresh ingredients.

This was our favorite bagel place when was on Monk Blvd. because we could walk to it. I put in an order on their website yesterday and it didn't come. After talking to the manager today, they delivered it to me free of charge, bagels were fresh and still hot. I cant go to the Lasalle location, but as long as delivery is an option I will be a customer. Great bagels, 12$ for 12 bagels is a fair price.

Some of the best bagels in the entire city! Better in my opinion than Saint Viateur or Fairmont. And they just added Montreal smoked meat. Mmmmm.... such delicious smoked meat. Right now they have a special of a dozen bagels and a pound of smoked meat for $20, I highly recommend swinging by and getting yourself some. Also today they are giving away free sample smoked meat sandwiches. Go get one!

First visit here and I can assure you it will not be my last. The service was so welcoming, and the placed smells divine. Every time we go, the owner is yelling... He is really rude and no manners.. Would yell and curse in front of customers! Great Montreal style bagels! Perfectly executed, good chew and a large bagel. Staff were very friendly. We had them on Christmas morning at work. Pro Tip: freeze fresh bagels in a plastic bag. Microwave for 25 seconds. The guys loved them. Best bagels in the south west borough!

I really loved these bagels and I was sad when they moved to Lasalle. Went for a visit last weekend to get a bag of 6 whole wheat and a bag of 6 everything bagels. When I arrived at the cash, it totalled to 18$. 9$ for half a dozen bagels is unacceptable. We use to pay 9$ for two half dozens of whole wheat. I don't have to pay for your move and your new industrial gaz oven. Also, no more wood fire oven? It's a real shame.

By far, the BEST bagels in Montreal. So perfectly crafted. Saint Viateur and Fairmont do not even come close when it comes to taste and texture. Every single one i've ever had has been delicious and baked to perfection. I am addicted. I live near many bagel places, but will always choose to take the 20 min drive to Ville Emard Bagels because it is so so worth it.

First time we went, the owner was very rude and the bagels were so-so. Short story, this place has been there for a long time and I’ve always been around it but I actually never thought of trying since I always go to st-Viateur bagels. This morning, I finally decided to give it a try. The result: OMG WAY BETTER THAN ANY OTHER BAGELS BAKERY.
