Love their carrot cake, cookies and bread. Parking sucks though, be careful because they ticket vehicles very quickly in this area. I got a ticket within 5 mins, it's like they wait around the bakery. lol

I was a little surprised that much of what they sold was savoury. Quiche and croissants with gourmet cheeses and veggies; not quite as many sweet baked goods as I would have liked. #notmystellas Stella's has taken advantage of their incredible employees. Abuse stories are piling up and the company's response to the claims has shown their true colours. They have attempted to downplay the horrific stories, shame folks for sharing on the internet (when it's clear that complaints to them have gone ignored) and completely shirked responsibility for the incidents ("It's because our company is growing and we can't keep track of everyone.") when folks are saying that it's management itself who has been responsible for both harassment and the ignoring of harassment complaints. They know. I was a regular customer, loved the bakery goods, vegan options, and atmosphere, but no more. I urge folks not to eat there until every one of the demands put out by #notmystellas have been 100% thoroughly enacted. Disgusting.

Bakers have changed and so have the recipes. They used to have better cinnamon buns than Tall Grass; now they’re dry and flavourless. Brownies were horrible and tasted weirdly like fish oil. Only the pizza focaccia was still the same. So disappointed.

We had ordered an apple pie from here, and it was delicious. Crust was well made, nice lattice on top, apples were consistent thickness, baked and still held shape and wasnt mushy. And any time we've bought bread or other desserts from here we've never been disappointed.

Why am I required to tip for take out for a loaf of bread. When I shop I use my cell phone to pay, I am unable to pay unless I handle the CC payment terminal and enter percentage or decline, I prefer not to touch the CC payment terminal to complete the transaction. I understand that it is a going trend, but I prefer not to handle such devices. Thank you.

When selling the baked goods it should be the staffs responsibility to ensure they are selling the customer fresh items. If they are stale the item should be offered at a reduced price. It’s not pleasant to arrive home with expensive baked goods that are stale/unfresh. My experience with the products has been hit and miss. At the prices they charge I expect high quality and not stale. The staff are always polite and cheerful but they need to inform customers as to what they are buying.

Open during the pandemic. Obeying physical distancing, observing hand hygiene and PPE protocols. Their carrot cake slices are tasty too. Try their cappuccino, there is something different and yummy about the flavour. I’ll definitely go back there for another slice of cake.

We are visiting from the UK. We had an issue checking into our hotel so we popped into Stella's. The staff were so very kind to us and helped us contact the owner of our hotel but that's not the best part of this story!! That would be absolutely the most divine bread pudding I have ever tasted in my life (and I have tasted a lot). Lovely atmosphere and great staff. I'm sure we will be back. Thank you Stella's

I went out of my way this morning to go to the bakery. I purchased a French baguette, cinnamon bun and a slice of carrot cake. Only to get home and the baguette is stale as well as the carrots cake and the cinnamon bun. For the cost $16.47 and a 100% disappointment was not impressed. I don't know if it was a off day but I am not in a hurry to go back. But the staff was really nice and friendly!

Parking on Sherbrook is difficult, but you can park in the Foodfare parking lot off Maryland and walk across the back lane to the bakery from there. Be nice and buy something at Foodfare as well :-) I had driven past Stella's Cafe many times and never noticed the bakery next door. We picked up a sampling of several different items. The butter tarts were excellent, as were the croissants. There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Went with family for a snack and coffee. Well asked for the pizza to be warned up. Came back with having the chill removed only . Such poor service. Then had a pastry , and that was a bust also. It tasted stale ,was not fresh. A waste of time and money,so disappointing. Much better places to go to then here people.

One of my favorite coffee shops/ bakeries in the city! The coffee is always delicious! I typically get a latte with no syrup. Their shop made salad dressings for purchase are so tasty. Their pastries also do not disappoint. My local favorite!

Staff are always super rude, unfriendly, and always have an attitude towards customers. My coffee was made without milk in it, even though I did ask for it (could have been a mistake or mishearing - not a major issue). So I politely asked for some oat milk to be added to it and the server very rudely said "that will be extra, did you say you wanted milk in it?". This wouldn't have been an issue had the server not been very rude about it even though it was their mistake.

They are a bit pricy for cakes and coffee with average taste. I tried their croissants, biscuits and vegan cakes. It was nothing to write home about.

The earlier you go the better the selection. I love the French Country Rye bread, the puffed wheat squares, and the Margherita pizza. There's also options for non-dairy milks so basic espresso drinks are available, definitely worth a visit. The business owners need to embrace their employees value and humanity, I've since boycotted all Stella's locations based on the principals of weaponizing the union against those it's made to protect; don't touch this business with a 10 foor pole, hard pass.
