Nice staff, a team of friendly ladies. Old design store. Ice-cream and desserts only ; no food. Located at the main road entrance of Kenora city. Only take away, no dine-in. Rail Museum beside Dairy Queen store.

Yeah, the Ice Cream is average restaurant quality. The girls could use some customer service training though, there was no please or thank you. They left my order on the counter and didn't tell me it was ready. Yeah I got some good ice cream, but thats it.

They have messed up my order the last 2 times I've been here. If I ask for lids to take it to go, I always have to ask them 3 times before I get them. No joke. It just always seems like they don't care or can't be bothered. They really do need to work on how to treat customers.

The girls who work here are so rude. All of them stare at you as if it takes 6, or however many of them are in there, to take an order. Asked for a box of Dilly Bars and got one. When I asked if I could also purchase a box the girl taking my order got more rude + rolled her eyes at me. Didnt catch her name, but considering they all seem to be friends I dont know if it matters. I guess store bought ice cream will have to do.

We always get birthday cakes! They are a bit pricey at 30 dollars but they feed so many ppl! Definitely will keep coming back! The only con minus that it's only open seasonally and almost every single item constantly dairy, and the non dairy items, like a slushy, cost 5 dollars instead of 2 like at a corner store. ????

Whoever trains the staff at the Kenora location needs to start training at all the Winnipeg locations. (Not actually possible I know) They are one of the very few locations that are capable of actually mixing a blizzard the whole way through and not leaving half of it just plain ice cream. We are Summer weekend residents of the area and stop here often. Always good service and as stated above they make their blizzards very well.

Been going to Kenora DQ for 35 yrs during our summers at the lake. always good service and product we always buy boxes of Buster Bars BUT something has changed with the Buster Bars !! they appear smaller AND No layers of fudge !! if your lucky you may get a full layer at bottom but mostly just a partial layer on bottom. No Layers of fudge like they used to be and as advertised Disappointed

The first day of Spring arrived and Dairy Queen is open in Kenora. There is only window service and no products from the grill are available. Just ice cream and only ice cream and it's been that way since I moved here many years ago. In the summer, theres picnic tables to sit at and a great beach just over the hill. As important to Kenora as Husky the Musky or the Keewatin glacial potholes.

For those out of town. It's only open during spring and summer. It also have a limited menu, ice cream only. Great treat on any day. Friendly and efficient service. If you don't have a sweet tooth, get the mini Blizzard over the small. Decent selection of ice cream.

Kenora I was very disappointed in the strawberry sundae. DQ has changed the strawberry topping. It is gelatinous and has very little flavour.

DQ is tried and true. The Kenora location does not disappoint. Very small and no inside seating. Always busy but quick to get your fix. Menu has a few new things and this time I tried the Triple Chocolate Brownie sundae...warm brownie was a super touch. Prices still decent.

Great local DQ location. We will go out of our way to stop by here. Lots of room to park and friendly staff. During COVID they are doing a good job at supporting social distancing with a controlled line and one way in and one way out.

The Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Blizzard did not contain real Peanut Butter Cup pieces and the peanut butter flavour was from a big can of peanut butter flavouring and a big clump of it in the Blizzard which toy had to stir yourself to evenly distribute it in the Blizzard. Very disappointed!

Best DQ I've ever had, hands down. I got a triple brownie delight and asked for extra sauce. They delivered! I always ask for extra sauce at all the DQs I go to across Canada since we travel from Vancouver to Kenora every summer. I've never had a brownie dessert with this much sauce! Do scrumptious. The rest of my family had blizzards and the blizzards were well mixed, contained lots of toppings and were overflowing (in a good way). We will be back!
