My favourite bakery in Kelowna! The things they do well they do very well (try the cinnamon buns!). There are other items that are not quite so consistent or amazing (chocolate cookie and chocolate croissant, I'm looking at you). Regardless, "It's a Bakery" is cozy and the staff are wonderful - worth your time to visit and I will keep coming back for sure!

Huge fan of coffee and baked goods here... European style baked delicacies will greet you at the door, and the sound of happy staff working away at the espresso machine is like music. Only lost a star because of size! Everything else is golden!

Great little bakery! If you enjoy people and car watching while sipping an awesome coffee and eating fresh baked goods, then this is the place for you. The service is always good and the baked goods are fresh. My personal favorites are: butter croissants, chocolate croissants and pretzels. The only drawback is that the patio area is too small.

Glad we came back here after we first visited when it opened. I don't think they had everything quite ready yet. Now there are many different bakery items tot choose from and hot and cold drinks. Prices a little higher than average for sure. The cheese buns are incredible, but expensive. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Service is 5/5, very accomidating. I saw a few items being baked (for real from scratch) so the bakery seems legit. I got a caramel dulche latte which was pretty decent & also meta cute dog outside. Overall good experience. Could use 2 or 3 more tables outside.

What a cool little spot. Top notch baker and barista, High quality baked goods with friendly service. I came in right at closing and they happily served me. Definitely recommend the cinnamon buns and lattes.

Very tasty baked goods and I love the options as far as pastries but I am so disappointed with the coffee. We've been in 3 times hoping each time it'll be different (twice a male barista and once the owner I believe) but every time the coffee is burnt as they have no clue how to make lattes or cappuccinos. She used the same milk, heated excessive to the point of scalding the milk, then poured both drinks (latte and cap) from the same container. I would recommend they hire a trained barista so that their coffee can match the quality of their pastries.

THIS PLACE IS ADORABLE!! Such a sweet little bakery. Got their pumpkin brulee latte and enjoyed it a lot! It wasn't as overly sweet as other places and they make their pumpkin syrup in house!

Good latte, good croissants. There is one thing that would make it 5 stars and that is to offer a few egg and nut free options for people with allergies. I took my 2 yr old grandson there and there wasn’t anything he could eat.

A really great place to grab and go. Wonderful homemade soups, and delicious bread and treats. They also have the best dog cookies. For us it's a destination place. We walk our dog there, get an americano misto, a baked treat and a dog treat. Everybody is thrilled!

Walked in around 4pm on a Friday, they were closing even though the website said 5pm. Totally understood with everything going on with the pandemic, and they still let us shop. The coffee machine had been shut down but the treats we got were delicious. Hope we can try again soon.

First up - this place has great coffee. It is really good. So far all of the baking I've tried is not that great. I bought a slice of banana bread not long ago and it was stale and really dry. Almost embarrassing. The Cinnamon buns were also very average. I've found the baking (from what I've tried) to be fairly overpriced for what you get. I really hope it gets better - so far I have not been impressed at all.

It’s a deliciousness!!! Wow we happened to drive by and stop when we saw the cute little plaza and shop and boy where we delighted by some delicious baked goods! Try their cheese buns and their German pretzels they are amazing! Anything you get you can’t go wrong with!

I recently ordered a cake from this Bakery, and let me tell you that for a place that isn't known for their cakes, they make a delicious, and very filling one. The price of the cake also couldn't have been better as everyone that ate some assumed I had spent upwards of 100 dollars on it which I most certainly did not. If you are in the market for a birthday cake or even if you have yet to try their delicious assortment of in store baked goods, I highly recommend It's A Bakery.

I Stop by for a quick snack last weekend. I got a delightful poppy seed cheesecake , the best loaf of bread ever found in the Okanagan ( German rye sourdough) and a good coffee. I am looking forward to try this bakery again. It's also a perfect stop for cyclists!

Cute little place with fresh breads, other baked goods, and sandwiches. Saw the sandwiches were $9 even though they were quite small, about a small dinner bun. Had to grab something, so chose a turkey sandwich. Wasn’t bad, wasn’t great. Certainly not worth $9 for the size and the fact that it was slathered in too much mayo. Skip this place for lunch, as there are other options in the area that will give you more quantity and quality for that price. I’m sure the coffee and baked goods are nice though!
