My husband and I shop here regularly. The store is clean and very well stocked with excellent quality produce, meat and an array of anything we need or want. They have a super deli area with excellent quick prepared meals for a healthy alternative to convenient take-out. The staff goes above and beyond when it comes to answering questions or providing support. We feel very safe shopping here too, during these frustrating times the world is experiencing.

Best customer service by far in any grocery store i’ve been to. I was visiting Lindsay for the weekend, and had gone here because of good reviews from friends, and they had blown my expectations out of the park. Staff was so friendly, and the store was very clean and well organized. When I came in the manager had greeted me and asked what I was looking for and directed me to the right place. I should also add that everyone wearing their masks made me feel very comfortable and safe. I am very thankful for all that they are doing regarding the mandatory restrictions.

Excellent selection of fine cheeses, quality produce, meat and an impressive selection of local and international wines. Staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. The store is very committed to protecting staff and customers from COVID-19 and this creates a feeling of safety when grocery shopping in these uncertain times. I gave one star without an explanation and the owner just replies with a made up assumption as to why so here's my explanation for giving 1 star Gave 1 star because of the rude and disrespectful way this place deals with customers. This store is extremely rude and borderline abusive to some customers and I highly recommend shopping literally anywhere else.

We drive almost 1 hour to shop at La Mantia's. We drive by 7 competing supermarkets. We enjoyed La Mantia's having a Euro name, reminding of my youth, shopping with my parents in Toronto. We were in need of Phyllo pastry, for a Greek Pastry, I called, they had stock.,they didnt know price. Upon arrival, the carts are outdoors, unattended. Every other market we shop at, has a dedicated worker to sanitize the carts, going in, and taking the cart upon departing. Not so Euro, inviting anymore. I am disabled, my wife is the driver. We are in our 60s,well dressed, adults. We enter, my wife asked for the location of the restroom to relieve herself, she was told "our washrooms are only for employees"very disappointing. Anygrocery store we have shopped at, all have washroom facilities available for their guest's. We shooppped, the phyllo pastry was close to $8.00. Exorbitant! I ask to speak to the manager, Jamie is summoned. He shows up, I am told it's hard to find employees, looking and speaking toJaime, I can.see why. Total lack of communication skills, looking dishevelled. "We don't have a washroom" I asked for the owner number, he should, would care. I was given a pamphlet with history of the store, and Dave's #. I called left a message. We depart, went up the road to Club Warehouse store, where we both used their handicap friendly washroom, and we shopped. Dave returned my call, I explained what happened, he sounded like he couldn't care Less . And at that point neither did I. You think his predecessor would have cared???? 3stars for 1 most staff 2 meat 3 name

I love this store. Great meat. BUT I was there Thursday Mar 25 2021 at 2 o'clock in line to check out only one young man on till serving a customer. The other two ladies are busy moving some flowers so I wait, then there are 4 other customers waiting..They look over but do not open another till so I tell the clerk they should open another till. He just looks over at them and says sorry to me.Then the two lady clerks leave.Very bad customer sevice. .

La Mantia's is a great produce store. Prices r usually not bad but tend to go up regularly. Manager is very efficientl and makes sure his staff is too. Serve customers first then he will deal with any other store issues. The in store bakery is great also but pricey. They have alcohol for those who would like it.

Fabulous produce and a full deli area, they carry a wide selection of cheeses, one of the only places we can find apple cinnamon goat cheese which is delicious, try it if you haven't had it. Great meat selection, some of the biggest chickens I've ever seen and nicely marbled steaks. They have baskets of fresh plums, potatoes, beets etc (in season) At the front of the store. There's also a good selection of baked goods and breads. We bought a pkg of sub buns that were as fresh as if they just came out of the oven. Definitely a must stop place when we're in Lindsay.

I have been going to this store for so long and can honestly say that they have the best produce in the entire province. Not once have I seen any bruise or wilting on any fruit or vegetable. The staff is always so kind and eager to help. However, I am so sorry to the owner for all of the negative reviews coming from people who do not care about the safety and health of others :( I do not understand that if they are exempt from wearing a mask that they should not be out in a global pandemic. There are other options available, for example delivery, or curbside pick up. I find it very admirable that the market is holding such high standards and working very hard to keep everyone safe.

They were extremely rude after allowing me into their store to "contaminate" it, by not wearing a mask for health reasons, get to the cash with my purchase, they refused to take my money if I did not put on a mask. They threatened to call the police on me, at which point, I left all my contaminated produce at the cash and left. I'll never waste my money there again. P.S To the owner of the store. There are medical exemptions for good reason. The medical community and the province itself recognizes that. Every other grocery store in town recognizes that. The Human Rights Tribunal recognizes that. Apparently, you do not. You sir do not have a medical license. You do not know the medical issues suffered by many of your clientele, nor do you seem the least but compassionate towards them. You have no authority mandating a medical device be worn on anyone. Experts agree that they should not be worn by everyone. That is the reason you have shields up around your cash counters. You would do well to realize that.

I would like the owner to review the HKPR Health Unit Site FAQs when it comes to the use of Non-Medical Masks. Specifically - "Who is exempt from wearing a Mask?" & "Do I have to disclose my medical condition if I don't wear a mask?" Let me just say - I use to enjoy walking into La Mantia's but no more. I do have a legitimate reason for not wearing a mask and I left there feeling as though I was a thief. I will no longer recommend that anyone visit the establishment.
