The coffee is just so good! Gender free bathrooms in Lindsay! Safe space for those who require one. Always smiling staff too.
Fantastic service clean environment tasty food and coffee
Love their iced drinks, coffees and food.. Muffins are amazing!!!
Wow what can I say. We live in a small town, and to stumble upon this place for the first time. Absolutley amazing. Lovely staff very friendly. This place is very cozy and brings back such an nostalgic feeling. I do like starbucks, and I know I shouldn't mention it, but I am telling you this place is on the same level if not better. I do believe I have found my new coffee place.
Staff are very friendly and accommodating..the food is not bad ..especially the croissants and carrot cake ???? I like how they create different drinks from time to time also x
I made a quick stop here and had a delicious vanilla frappuccino. Definitely recommended to stop in and try out. Yum!
Sadly I didn't have a good experience, I ordered a spinach feta to go and I didn't see which one was given to me. When I got home and took a bite the whole top of the pastry was burnt (black) . Nothing worse than the taste and smell of burnt pastry! $ in the garage won't be back, that's pretty poor business to serve something like that out!!!
Relaxing coffee house with an incredible interior design that incorporates bits of the past with the present. There are many different unique spaces available to socialize and enjoy your beverage of choice while not feeling you are encroaching on anyone else's privacy, while still being inviting enough to encourage conversation.
My daughter and I have been going to Boiling Over since it opened, once, twice a week. This morning, it was very busy, but two tables were taken up by single individuals on their computers. One is there every day tying up a table, where he could sit at the semi round table. Basically two people tied up tables that could sit 8...not very smart business sense.I mentioned this to the server and she got very b...y with me. Stating 'what do you want me to do, kick them out? What do you expect from a coffee shop?. She continued being very rude. All I said was for there to be some courtesy and that they move to the round table so that others could sit. Note, that my daughter has epilepsy and must sit should she have a seizure and fall. Needless to say, I WILL NOT be giving them my business again. I will be going to the other coffee shop in town. This server definitely needs to be brought down a peg with her terrible attitude.
It's very nice coffee shop with a friendly staff.
Hands down the best premium coffee around. Service is top notch. The place is quite unique and great to hang out at.
This is a great coffee shop. Staff are friendly and the decor is relaxing and comfortable. Coffee is good and breakfast is reasonably priced and good. This is the type of coffee shop you would find in the big city, not Lindsay, but that's a good thing! :)
Great coffee, great atmosphere, great staff. Also great butter tarts!
Was here a few weeks ago, coffee was good but service was lacking. The person on register was not very welcoming and seemed visibly irritated when I was stuck when using the debit/credit setup they had. I asked for help since I had never used that type of tablet/tap machine before and she seemed very annoyed.
I didn't like the coffee, it did not taste right. Kind of like soup. The person I was with said it tasted like mushrooms... That being said, I did not try any other drinks so I cannot speak for those. The inside of this coffee shop is alright, could use a little updating. They have a nice selection of treats and foods (I did not try any) if you wanted dessert or lunch with your drink. The staff experience was neutral... Nothing special, same service as Tim Hortons. The experience is just a little fancier.
Awesome little coffee shop. Great atmosphere, good tunes, great coffee, and delicious food as well. Like Starbucks but better. Highly recommend.
One of the best coffee shop in Lindsay. You can spend hours and watch passing by people. Great location, right next to art museum. Open long hours, great for evening time passing. Staffs are very friendly. Apple cider is the best. Front patio is well decorated and great boulevard. Front street is lovely.
Good coffee and a nice place to visit for the afternoon. Cookie is also delicious as they warmed it up.
London fog is the best around!!! Service is friendly, cafe is clean. Relaxing environment
Great coffee shop!! ...great place to meet friends and get caught up or just relax and enjoy a java.
Enjoy the best of downtown culture in Lindsay with this coffeeshop nestled in among local retailers. Warm atmosphere , friendly staff, open seating, wifi accessible, and the best of coffee tea smoothies sandwiches and soups mostly made in house or from local franchises. Barrister and Barista alike can accomodate drinks with alternative menu options to make that one of a kind brew your own! (Glut free and milk alternatives too!) Most travel to go products are recyclable, and , if you enjoy it that much, they also sell their in house coffee to take home as well as a gift wall of mugs and accessories to choose from. Connect with their social community on Facebook Instagram or Twitter to stay on top of in house concerts and local events! Don't stay mad...brew it over a cuppa at boiling over coffee vault in Lindsay ;)
Great place to sit and have a coffee. The drinks are on par with what you'd find at a Starbucks or any other high end coffee establishment, and there is plenty of seating for those looking to study or just sit and chat with a friend.
Excellent coffee and so happy to see gluten free items. GF Chocolate zucchini muffin to die for! Nice atmosphere.
Great coffee and atmosphere. Wish someone would do something about the flies.
Coffee was ok, staff friendly and knowledgeable but atmosphere a bit lacking
Absolutely love this place. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. You can get practically any beverage with specific dietary needs (almond milk, soy, etc etc). Tasty baked goods with vegan, dairy/gluten free options, and lots of cool and local products. Cozy tub chairs, and the vibes are great!
Great atmosphere. Friendly service. I'll be back.
My SO and I have made this our regular place to go for coffee and good conversation. The environment and ambiance make it a wonderful place for dates, or just a casual cup of coffee with a friend. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the coffee is so good!
Great spot! Friendly staff. They did fantastic work accommodating for local talent
The food and drinks are great in both flavours and quality, but the price is high for the amount you get. Regardless, it’s still one of the nicest little places for food and beverages in town, and I’d happily go again
First time here and already cozy to sit and chat for a Saturday night with family and friends. I would definitely come here again when I'm at the cottage a up for a weekend or holidays. ????☕
Very nice, quiet place to talk and to be heard. I will be back. A good first date place to meet
Excellent selection,Food, beverage and Service!
Went for a coffee & a snack with a friend - cappuccino was perfect and the breakfast sandwich on a bagel was tasty! Nice outdoor patio seating & good COVID practices. They have really cute masks made by a local quilting club at the cash too!
Where's the coffee? Ok so very disappointed after all the revies. Ordered a medium latte and asked how many shots are in it, "2" was the reply. Awesome I thought. Well all I tasted was milk and possibly a hint of coffee. Terrible. Unfortunately just passing through Lindsay but would have taken it back. Also a general comment on tipping options. Don't do it. Yes Starbucks does it but doesn't mean you have to. We're already paying $5+ for a latte. Your fixed tip options equate to 20+, more like 30+%, while optional, on a cup of coffee is ridiculous. Seriously your not serving us dinner and it just leaves a bad taste with your customers.
Boiling Over's Coffee Vault is a real gem in Lindsay. I frequent this lovely place fairly regularly. I love ???? their variety of products that are often not found in small towns. …
Great spot to grab some coffee. Starbucks prices and similar quality, some nice bakery options as well. Some nice seating for a read or some schoolwork.
Quiet, great setting, knowledgeable staff, fresh baked goods plus a clean environment . Recommended for friendly banter or business clients. Quiet shop with great atmosphere and admirable selection of coffees, teas, baked goods...expressos, as well as nutritious smoothies. Just check it out seriously.!!
I feel as though they should....."simmer" down ... But good coffee
Such a cute store / cafe! I got the iced macchiato and it was great, and the people who work there are so nice.
Good coffee and a good atmosphere. Lunch options are a bit limited but their breakfast sandwiches are good.
Very cozy place
Great drinks and food but no interac. They do have tap. No accessible parking.
Great atmosphere, fantastic seating, great location. I was not very impressed with quality of products, but I haven't taste tested much there. I'd go again - I just wouldn't get their Frappuccino' s.
Got a good cappuccino ☕ and croissant ???? in a cozy environment.
The coffee was ok but took a long time to brew. The place was pretty nice with lots of unique character. It cost us the better part of $20 for 2 coffees in 2018 ????
Really like this place, good coffee, great spot to work. Menu is a little weird, the cookies got small for the price, and there’s a monster soft serve ice cream machine on the counter that was maybe inherited from the frozen yogurt shop that closed next door. Staff are friendly and it’s a great location.
This is without a doubt my favourite place, cozy, friendly atmosphere and a wide selection of coffees and food.
Good food, but the coffee never tastes consistent and is very rarely enjoyable. staff aren’t very friendly either
Great independent coffee shop, lots of seating and very nice staff
great food friendly staff and best hot chocolate
No brewed coffee available, so they made pour over - which always gets me excited. Such a missed opportunity. Coffee was incredibly watery and had zero flavour... Which shouldn't happen when you order a black coffee. …
Very friendly. Good coffee and vegan treats!
Lindsay has a surprisingly good cafe. Plenty of room to sit down and decent fare.
Free WiFi and great place to either eat, pick up food/coffee, or relax with friends. Nice environment and good standing with town. Independent Starbucks feel to it.
The Best coffee in Lindsay. Very good option if you're looking for a small town cafe with great service and drink.
Great place, fantastic coffee, excellent service
Always a solid cup of coffee or whatever else you are looking for. Baristas and baristos are always lovely and willing to give great recommendations! Love it here.
lovely space, super friendly staff and a huge selection of drinks and baked goods.
Nice, laid back atmosphere. Pleasant place to do some work/reading. The one drink I tried (maple latte) was very good - flavourful, but not too sweet. I'm not a huge fan of the payment system, where the cashier takes the order then turns their screen toward the customer to decide on one of several predetermined tip amounts. Puts the customer on the spot, and I heard several people comment that they didn't like it in the brief period I was there.
Loved this coffee shop!! Made great lattes, and they have dairy free products available so that we can all enjoy those. I had a brown sugar cinnamon latte...delish. my husband, a decaf gingerbread latte, he loved it also. We will be back for sure. Dont like the bathroom in the basement, but it is down town lindsay, and they are not the only place to have that!
I had a tea latte, it was great. Definitely Starbucks+. They go wild on a syrup, so if you don't like it very sweet, give them a warning. Service is really good and the place looks great and clean.
Macchiato drinks hot and cold were to DIE FOR! Sandwiches were so filling. New fav place :)
Good coffee, convenient location and a foolproof toasted bagel with cream cheese. They also have a selection of GF treats.
The staff was super friendly and the coffee was good, but the place needs an overhaul - looking rough.
Cool place in an old bank. Coffee was good too
Come here for your cup of coffee. Very good medium roast. Speciality pumpkin ???? spice good (but a little sweet) and hot apple cider good. Cookies ???? were tossed after first bite. So stick with beverages ☕
Any store that does the 15 20 25% tip choices really annoy me. Especially when I only came in for some coffee beans
The atmosphere of the place is great. They have quiet enough music that you can study or have a conversation, comfy seating areas and good lighting. The coffee however is awful. My espresso was cold and the beans, if you taste, …
Very welcoming and friendly staff!! Will be a return customer
Lovely local coffee shop. Have tried their cold brew and iced lattes, and both were great. Quick service, clean, and seem very mindful of covid19 safety. There's a small patio area to sit if the weather is nice.
Nice coffee shop with some different options for food. Wife enjoys the vegan coffee cake. One of the best options for coffee in Lindsay.
Honestly I go there once a week I love the great vibe. It's so cozy there.
I like to go here because it is a cool spot, but I might have to stop going because many of the staff are rude. The last three visits have not been good. One of the servers argued with me about what a drink is called and gave me so much attitude. I want super friendly service but instead the staff are killing it. Very disappointed.
Great spot. Friendly staff. Fast service. Clean. Good Java and treats.
Great place, great smoothies, lots of coffee/tea flavors, good sandwiches... Also every third Friday is open mic night... Great job by Mr Vanhaltren.
Great service, coffee and food. Really comfortable atmosphere!
Love this place ... good coffee and great atmosphere
Really enjoyed my latte and my boyfriend really liked his iced americano here earlier today. Nice little patio off the side of the shop was a great spot to drink them and people watch. The baked goods looked great but we had already stocked up on those at the Farmer's Market... maybe next time!
Great place to sit chatting quietly with a friend over a coffee and muffin (or scone)
Friendly staff and decent prices!
Really great atmosphere. The coffee is pretty good and the staff are pleasant. They have an open mic night every Friday which is really nice.
What a nice spot to grab a drink and sandwich...highly recommend
A great little coffee house! The staff generate a warm friendliness, as is the ambience and the clientele. The espresso beans are mello full bodied without the sharp bitter after taste of Sbucks. Fair pricing on all products can be found here. A good selection of in house made pastries and sandwiches. The best coffee shop in Lindsay by far!
Worst apple cider ever.paid $6 for some one to steam regular apple juice and put whipped cream on top. just normal regular ol apple juice. I will tell my grandchildren of this tale.
Just glad there's a good coffee shop in my hometown I can come to when I return home that serves a decent cup.
I like to go to this place over Tim Hortons. The drinks are usually pretty good, especially the loose leaf teas. It's a nice place to get some work done as well. HOWEVER every single time without fail, there has always been an insane amount …
Coffee lacking flavour; baked goods inferior this visit; but service cheerful and friendly; quiet
It wasn't terrible;, it was cold because the door kept being opened, need better heat in the wintertime...got a hot chocolate with an espresso shot and a tea and it was over $12, too expensive...servers were polite, but because of the cost and the temperature, I likely won't go back
