Truly don't believe the good reviews for this place. Spring rolls were good, everything else bad. Had multiple dirty dishes, terrible tasting pho. Poor quality ingredients imo. No basil for pho. Will not return here again. There are much better options in town.

Fantastic coffee shop with fresh baked donuts, however much better Vietnamese food than it gets credit for. Not sure why people don't know about it but they serve fantastic pho, salad rolls and hot food. Very reasonably priced and would be considered a bargain in the lower mainland! I try to visit everyrime I go through town especially in the winter the pho is to die for!

Pho-king delicious! Not everyone knows about this jewel of SA-Hali. This Donut King makes homemade donuts! Omg. Ooey gooey goodness in every fluffy bite. I don't even eat donuts and I ate two. This is also a licensed Vietnamese diner. (Read that again) The staff are friendly and service is great. The Pho is well... PHO-NOMENAL! It's literally the best Pho I think I've ever had, actually. Also, the salad rolls, with hoisin/peanut butter sauce are fresh and delicious. All their food is made with fresh ingredients with traditional Vietnamese flair. I'm a huge fan of this family run business.

Was very surprised that a donut/coffee joint would have such good soup, pretty sure the majority of their business is for the Vietnamese food rather then their equally appealing donuts. . After grocery shopping for the week landed up here , happy hour lawn signs all over the bus stands outside , good marketing I guess ! The place is a fusion for the west and the east. Left side of the restaurant is a doughnut n coffee place and right side Vietnamese food with pho s, spring rolls and other entrees. I ordered Vietnamese beef noodle soup rare . We reached at 3 pm so got the happy hour deal ????. The second order was 50% off, so $15.99 for 2 meals . The soup loaded with noodles , rare beef slices and served with accompaniment a plate of white bean sprouts . The first sip of the soup was moving , gave shivers with exotic flavours n taste from the Vietnam @ Kamloops . Enjoyed the combination of noodles beef n soup ,no add ups required . Loved the place , the staff was friendly nice too. 5 star place ????????????????????

Pho was super low brow. For being vietnamese, they didn't even have basil to go with the soup which is a MUST! Highly disappointing. Noodles were overcooked and just not even close to good pho. Prices were waaaaay above what they should be for the quality. I love in Vancouver and pho isnt even close to the prices this place was charging. Too bad because they must know how to make good pho but are making poor quality product and using poor quality ingredients to make more money. I cant say for the donuts because I didn't try them but they looked good enough.

Best Pho in town! The broth is sumptuous and comes with a full bowl of delicious noodles. The atmosphere is quirky as the tables don't match and the decore is donut shop / Asian delights. I personally love it as it is unique and true to it's history. A lovely twist; the store offers a selection of Asian import beers AND donuts too! Winning!

First time customers. Spring Rolls tasted delicious. The Pho was spectacular. Our twins say the donuts are super good! We even got a history lesson. We weren't aware that Vietnam was colonised by France and only became it's own country in 1945. Looking forward to going back for more.

This is for the donuts (and I'll edit once I eat their Pho), but simply amazing, homemade and the guy won't be shy to tell you this. I'm not a donut guy but I know a few times of the year I'll be sneaking down here and munching on some. Local coffee shop that makes handmade donuts from scratch. Friendly owner who greets you with a smile, honest and homely donut ( walnut crunch). Owner had a nice conversation and also gave me a sample of their best seller( that's the half piece, shared with a friend who introduced me to this place) . In a world where social media presence is a must for a business to succeed, I find local stores don't quiet get the publicity they need to really get noticed like a big brand name does. Here I am doing my part, this place is a must go for coffee. Have heard great reviews about their food as well, and will give that a try next time.

A Kamloops staple for coffee and donuts, but a pleasant treat when it comes to the Viet cuisine. You always feel welcome when entering the joint, with a warm greeting and a joke or two. My go to is always the House Special noodle soup. A traditional Viet pho with a light, sweet, mild and savory broth. Noticeable flavors of coriander, basil, and traditional spices such as anise, cinnamon, clove and fish sauce. Served with thick style vermicelli, soft pieces of tendon and cartilage, thinly sliced tripe, rare slices of loin, meatballs, and accoutrements such as cilantro, bean sprouts, white onion, lime, and hoisin/sriracha. A hearty meal for any day of the week. For a beginner’s palate I would recommend the basic beef noodle. There are many traditional vermicelli and rice dishes that I look forward to trying. The apple fritters and honey rings are always a popular treat. Definitely recommend! Never boring, with something new to try everyday!

It's a funny combination: donuts and Vietnamese food. The donuts here are fabulous. We stop every time we come through Kamloops. The Vietnamese is good. My family liked the spring rolls. I liked my pho, which came with a light, flavorful broth. I often find pho salty but this one was not. The bowl is bigger than it looks; I couldn't finish. Overall very pleased. The restaurant is nice and clean. Service is very friendly - love the welcoming atmosphere!

As a Vietnamese person, I have very high expectation for pho. And so far, I haven’t found any pho that is good enough for me, but Pho Viet definitely has the best pho in town. The broth is very flavorful and delicious, a lot of toppings and they actually have black pepper in their pho (thank God!!) I liked my dinner today, might stick to Pho Viet from now on ☺️

Customer beware. The food was good. We’ve been here a few times over the years. After our last experience we will not be back. Last Saturday, I pointed to the woman behind the counter at the special posted in front of the till. It says something like: between 2pm - 5pm buy one get the second half off. She put the order thru and charged my husband full price for both items. When I questioned it, she said it was not 2pm. I asked could you please tell me what time it is? “Three minutes before two”, she replied. What??? “It’s not close enough”, I responded. She said “no” and walked away and put the order through. Last time we will ever eat here.

Way better than Tim Hortons because Donut King actually makes their donuts and they aren't frozen. The also have pho and the owner and staff are friendly every time we come and purchase items here. There are always people eating inside too so you know it's really good.

And was told the donuts were amazing, and they are, the one time I could try them as I’ve been in once in the weekend(how I found out no donuts are not made in the weekend) and at least 3 other times and not been able to get any donuts as they were sold out ????
