We went to the bakery for the first time yesterday evening, and were pleasantly surprised with the amount of selection. The staff were very helpful. We tried the spinach and feta croissants, and the ham croissants both of which were delicious. We will definitely be returning.

AMAZing!!! Always fresh, baked goods. So much selection. Cheese buns are so delicious, their cheese bread is really good, they have hot cross buns they have a chocolate chip version for Easter. They have many versions of scones including cinnamon, raspberry, raisin, so delicious. I can't speak enough about the quality and freshness of their products. Seriously the best bakery! Extremely friendly staff, willing to put baked goods aside even and very knowledgeable about the products that they sell. For example, their cheese buns each one has the exact amount of cheese in each one. Definitely on my route home as I crave their cheese buns regularly. (Oak Bay location)

Fantastic food found here! Staff are great and knowledgeable. Limited space inside (4 people at a time) due to COVID precautions but any line up goes quick if you have an idea of what you want before you go inside.

If you're looking for really great baked goods then this is the place you need to visit. Don't be put off by the line, because there's always a line and it moves quickly. Everything is absolutely fresh because at the end of every day the baked goods not sold are donated to local food banks so while indulging in your favorite treats, they're doing good for the community. They even took an entire day of sales to donate that cash to the parker street food and furniture bank. So, on every level you'll feel good about buying from here and the owner(s) is elbows deep every day too,working with his teammates.

I have been to many COBS Bread Bakery locations in other provinces but this on is by far the best. The customer service is unmatched! Every time I go in here they are always smiling and ready to help. Oh and the best part is that they sometimes throw an extra treat in with your order. This has become our go-to bakery in town because it's the only one (that I'm aware of) that is a nut free kitchen. Our daughter has some nut allergies and it's comforting to know that we can shop here and not be worried. When I asked about that I was told that they chose to be nut free because it also allows them to donate food, which is pretty cool too. Great variety of goods and very reasonable prices.

Only thing I would say is that more care needs to be taken to finish with one customer before focusing your entire attention on another customer just because they placed a large order. I'm somewhat of a regular (and here to stay) but you might tick off that one customer who may tell several other people.

When you walk in the door, the exquisite aroma of baking greets you like a sweet hug. Cobs Bread serves up plenty of artisan bread, pastry like savoury cheese buns, croissant, some stuffed with ham and cheese or spinach and feta, as well as some delectable sweet treats like cinnamon rolls, chocolate rolls and butter tarts. Everything is made fresh in house daily. Anything NOT sold goes to local shelters and food banks at closing. It is more pricey than other places, but you get what you pay for.

I've been to Cobbs in Edmonton so very happy to see it here. I was there this morning (March 12th) and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The lady who waited on me was full of personality and had a great sense of humour. She's the right person to have on cash and I can't believe I can't remember her name. I think maybe Elizabeth? It may be a chain but there is a reason they keep expanding. The scones are full of fruit and flavour, make sure to buy extra. Half loaves are perfect to try a new bread. The staff are always welcoming and knowledgeable about the products. Make sure to ask for a thick cut slices on the bread, it makes toasting it that much more decadent.

Poor customer service. I get that there is the covid rules and all, and of course I want to follow them as much as the next guy, but it is frustrating to walk in after a customer has walked out with their order and get barked at that you need to go wait outside. It's hard to know how many people are in the store and frustrating for the rules to be applied unequally. Really don't know what makes me different than the next guy. Surely there must be a better way to signal that it's ok to come in if it's such a big deal to the point where the employees will be snarky with you over it while poking their noses out of their masks. Maybe some kind of light or person counter outside? The bread is good, mostly because it's fresh. It's not artisan quality but definitely a great step up from wonder bread and convenient to be in Bedford. I keep getting discouraged to come back and hope that cobs will take some action to improve the experience. I think it would prevent a lot of customers from becoming one-time customers.

Bad experience at this place. This asian lady ask me to pay with debit card and i told her i was over my limit, then ask me to my money over a napking and stay away behind one freaking line. I’ll say that the food is pretty good. I try to stay away from the carbs but after trying the bread and pastries here, they are pretty solid. The line up can be long outside the shop since only 3 are allowed inside at a time. Prices are fine I think? I don’t go to many places like this but I suppose it’s fancy freshly made bread so the price difference is understandable. I really liked their Scones, they had a few different flavours for those.

It’s been open now for 3+ weeks. I went in the third week and it was a hit, the danishes were amazing. I would say the best I ever tasted then I went back again and it was a huge miss and I payed 8$ for 2 of them. They tasted like buns that had goo on them, not a danish, not very good at all. For that price I should be getting quality! Hit or miss in my opinion.

New location in Winnipeg, as well as the only location, so far. I went for the first time on a Tuesday afternoon at about 2:30 and it was busy! Almost out the door busy and the store standing room is tiny. There were only two people serving guests at this time and they needed more. They have two cash registers, but they could have 3-4 workers collecting orders and 1-2 people taking payment, it would make the waiting time much shorter. I ended up waiting 15 minutes to place my order, which is fine, it was worth the wait. I ordered a full size whole wheat loaf of bread and some grain buns, it was all good and prices are what you would expect to pay for fresh baked breads. They have specialty breads that cost more but you can’t expect anything less. Never tried the scones or any sweet deserts as I felt they were priced high, but they looked amazing and for a treat once in a while it would probably be worth it. I will certianly be going back as I would love to get the cinnomin loaf to make french toast and try a few diffrent types of their breads. Staff were very friendly even when under such stress of long line ups. Keep smiling!

Beware if you have a food allergy especially to peanuts and nuts. A neighbour was led to believe that their food was peanut and nut free by the staff. So my mother went and also asked and the staff said despite the allergen warnings their stuff is all peanut and nut free. This is NOT the case. Their food itself has warnings for peanuts and nuts. When I called the customer service to ask, Gavin informed me that they always advise anyone with a peanut and nut allergy to steer clear of their baking. Their staff misinform customers about a very serious issue as allergies are a life and death situation. Extremely unprofessional and dangerous.

The brand new Heartland location is great! I have been there every Saturday since the store opened trying different flavours. Yes, they are unbeatable with their chocolate croissants and the cinnamon loaf. Location wise it could not be better, a huge mostly empty parking lot! The staff is super welcoming! I really enjoy going to this store at Heartland mall!! It is my mandatory stop after my Saturday morning Crossfit workouts to get some delicious carbs and refill my energy! I strong recommend you to visit Cobs at Heartland location.

My husband and I went in here today and we were greeted by Lisa. She was so friendly and just a breath of fresh air, just a lovely person. It and miss. I like a bit more salt in a good loaf.Save On Food's Baguette is better. A little surprised to find 'Brioche' hot dog buns but no real Brioche, which I prefer to croissants. When I asked why,I was in formed by a rather sarcastic member of staff that 'Perhaps they are too sophisticated for Kamloops'. Really? Strong competition regarding pastries from Gold Leaf up the hill.

Wow! We're from Niagara falls and we're camping in Kingston this weekend. We went into town to buy some groceries and drive by here. We just heard on our local radio about Cobs bread coming to st Catharines so we decided to try it. The girl we dealt with was so sweet! Told us all about the company and it's community efforts and that also made us feel good about supporting them. I went to this location on a busy Saturday afternoon. The place was lined up out the door but it moved fast and staff were keen to call the next guest in line. It smelled delicious inside! I found it odd however there was no actual menu on their digital boards. Because it was so full, I wasn't able to see the selection under or behind the counters so once I got to the line, I had to ask what the options were, prices, combo options, and what they had available. The gentlemen who served me was very friendly and knowledgeable and for a selection of 6 assorted pastries, the price was reasonable. I did not see anyone, front or back of house, wearing a hairnet which for a bakery I feel like should be mandatory especially in the kitchen. Overall, the experience was good and I would return for a loaf of bread or scone if I'm in the area again.

I had the nicest experience at this Cobs! Placed an online pickup order, but there was a technical mix up, so they were one item short from completing my order. However, they did a fantastic job of making it right, and then some. Anna helped me find a substitute item, and was absolutely wonderful and gave me great customer service. I didn't even realize 'til I got home that the y put a box of extra goodies in my bag to make up for the order mixup. That was a very unexpected and lovely surprise! Not to mention everything was delicious. Definitely will be coming back.

My favorites are probably the croissants, particularly the ham & cheese ones. But their danishes and scones are amazing and I highly recommend their blueberry lemon one! I served some of their herb garlic & cheese pull apart bread with some spaghetti and meatballs and that was a hit!

COBS Heartland is by far my favourite bakery in Mississauga. I’ve tried a lot of their stuff and it never disappoints! A couple of my favourites are the cinnamon buns, sourdough, cinnamon raisin bread(great for French toast), that garlic twisty bread, and the pizza. Everything is always fresh and made that same day. Bread that is left over at the end of the day is donated to shelters. How amazing is that! The owner is there majority of the time, she is so lovely and the staff is always friendly and helpful! 5⭐️+

We used to love cobs bakery but there has been a steady decline in quality and a very high turnover in staff since Sasha left. The cheese pull apart bread has turned into a reg loaf with some cheese on the outside. Certainly not worth the $. There have been holes in the bottom of many different loaves that are sometimes quite deep and only find this out once we get home. The last veggie pizza we bought wasnt cooked in the middle and the bag of buns we purchased had one that was squished flat. The final recent visit consisted of rock music playing so loudly you couldnt converse with staff wearing the required mask and the staff member was surly. All in all i would say not worth the drive out there or the money. Very sad since this was one of my favourite stores

I go here religiously for their fresh cinnamon buns that are iced with their amazing cream cheese icing. Hands down, they have the best cinnamon buns in the city! My new favourite COBS location! We went around 5pm and a fresh batch of pumpkin scones were just brought out. We picked up a cinnamon loaf (it’s a must try!), all the scone flavours (double chocolate, lemon blueberry, cinnamon, white chocolate and berry, pumpkin), a chocolate croissant and cinnamon bun with icing. Everything tasted great and fresh! The employee helping me was helpful, friendly and patient while I decided on all the options. Plenty of parking and conveniently located/ easy to find. We will definitely be back!

Cobs Bakery is one of very few proper bakeries in the area. We find their bread and bakery items to be of a consistent high quality, with real flavour and texture - something that is sadly lacking in bread from the supermarket. The reason you pay more, is because you ARE getting REAL BREAD. Spend time in Australia (where Cobs comes from), the UK, Europe or Scandinavia, and you'll find that most North Americans have forgotten what proper bread tastes like. The service is pleasant and the Cobs crew do try to keep up with the customers that flood in.

I love everything about Cobs. The bread is always amazing, delicious and fresh!! They have an incredible selection of bakery items that are all BEYOND delicious and soft and FRESH. They carry too many things to name but some of my families favorites include...cinnamon loaf thick sliced ( you get to pick thin or thick slices for your loafs) the raspberry white chocolate scones, French baguette, grain bread, pizza shells, sour dough and on and on. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Cobs...the smell from the parking lot gives it away and always happy personable and friendly staff. I love that they usually have samples while you wait, a stamp card to earn a free loaf, coloring pages for the kids to color and they hang on their walls for them and the kids love it. It is a popular place and usually busy but the staff are very fast and lines move swiftly.

For years I used their loaf rewards card, NOT ANYMORE! I don’t have a cell phone I don’t have a computer so no internet. What can I do. How long did it take for your staff to punch the card? EASY! So now I will go to Tripke Bakery. Just as good if not better. Jeff

Sour dough bread is fabulous! The dinner rolls are the best I have ever had. I heard that whatever is left at the end of the day is donated - how could one not support a company who donates to the those in need. Wonderful bread, looked around grocery stores for white bread with no sugar and couldn't find any, but as soon as I asked they confirmed there wasn't any in theirs. I got the enhanced fiber white (or something like that) and it's *amazing* - thick, soft, and with a perfect crust (and I hate bread crusts). And the customer service is fantastic. Fast, friendly, and instant attention when you step in the door. Cinnamon rolls are delicious - now if people would stop buying them out before I get there after work!!

I'm so delighted that Winnipeg has COBS! Consistently delicious baked goods, made right there in the store. That amazing smell hits you right as you open the door! My favorite treat are the blueberry danishes! The focaccia breads are perfect for serving with soup or salad, and their wide selection of scones are exactly what you need with your afternoon coffee.

The minute you walk in the door you'll want to buy two of everything they have! They have a little sample dish on the counter. It smells so wonderful in there!! So many choices. From my experience, this local bakery is increasingly becoming hostile and racist. The most recent example (I've been ignoring other ones) is when I walked in there last two weeks around 8 am to buy a loaf of bread as I've been doing for some time. I said good morning to the only salesperson there who was understandably busy arranging stuffs on a shelf but apparently, they didn't hear me until I greeted the second time and then they turned in my direction and responded. Before I could say any other word, the next thing I heard was "I can't slice cinnamon bread for you, it's still hot". The animus with which they said it and their unfriendly countenance were crystal clear. I had not said any other word after "good morning". I hadn't said what type of bread I wanted and, honestly, it wasn't cinnamon bread that I had come to buy. I doubt if they could have related to a white guy in a similar way. I didn't do anything wrong by supporting a local business. I don't need to look like the majority in a place before I can feel safe to buy a loaf of bread. When we're serving the public, we need to shed the racial prejudice, animus, and biases that becloud our minds.
