Had the breakfast bowl and dark roast coffee. Food was fresh and flavourful with in-house made dressings and sauces. Coffee was made from BKON devices, apparently first ones in Canada. Smooth brew with minimal bitterness and no sour taste.

My partner and I stopped at AhhYAY today on our way from Vancouver to Edmonton, and are we ever glad that we did!! The food was remarkably delicious, as well as completely filling and easy on the conscience! The concept behind the ahhYAY cafe is a breath of fresh air and we left feeling satisfied in every way possible. So it turns out the hospital doesn't feed new dads, but I felt a lot better getting real, healthy food from Ahh Yay instead. I obviously had to get extra to bring back to my wife too. Just enough variety on the menu to be interesting without overwhelming, and the flavors really are awesome (meat or not). Friendly staff and a really cool interior, make this a great little place. Breakfast burrito wrap was awesome.

Google map directed me to a hospital so I wandered around a bit before finding that it was right in front of it instead of inside like the map showed. Service was really friendly. I chose the Grandmas House. But found it quite plain and lacking in any flavour. First off the pumpkin seeds were missing and I couldn’t taste any coconut oil or maple syrup so it feels like they forgot that as well. The quinoa had some hard stones in every bite as well. I sure the other meals are a lot better though. But if you’re looking for a super plain dish then Grandmas House is for you.

WHAT A PLACE! We heard from family we we're staying with that this was a new place to check out if you are vegan, and it was all farm to table! We called because we couldn't find the menu online and they said meat is an additional option but nothing comes with in my default and that a few items had eggs. We went and there was 6 of us, the owner Natalie offered us the meeting room ( which said reserved) as it is mostly smaller 2 person tables and a bar style seating. She notified us that it was normally 30/hour but as it was in use we were more than welcome. It is was the fabulous hanging plant wall you see in the photos, imported from the US it's made out of wool and completely leak proof. The menu was creative and unique, and the time she took to explain everything even down to how they brew coffee ( which is also incredibly interesting) was fantastic. I would 10/10 recommend a visit to this lovely cafe

I find it very hard to find parking and I get sad when I travel through the parking lot and all slots are already full. I suggest the food for sure but the parking is limited.

My first time here! Just loved it. As someone with multiple allergies I can rarely go out for a meal without being limited to one or two items on the menu. Here I was delightfully overwhelmed with all the choices. I had Pesto Zoodles with a Keto Coffee that had MCT oil along with their Paleo Superfuel Crunch for dessert. What a treat!! That staff are super understanding and accommodating of allergies and seemed to go out of their way to help find the perfect meal. Will definitely be back!

I ordered a Casablanca stew last night through skip the dishes. The stew was delicious, but the bowl it came in was completely soaked through on the bottom by the time I got it. Luckily there is a restaurant in the hotel I work in so I could put it in to a new bowl, but if that wasn't the case it probably would of ruined the meal for me.

We had an important meeting on March 5 at Ahh Yay Wellness Cafe 's education room. I was blown away with the food quality & freshness, service and boardroom atmosphere. I highly recommend this fantastic restaurant for amazing vegan, soy, dairy and gluten free food. It will not disappoint you. The owner is absolutely amazing! This cafe did everything perfectly. We stopped here on our way to Whistler, and all four of us were beyond impressed. Firstly, their service is outstanding. The two ladies working behind the counter were super inviting and welcoming of our diet restrictions. Their menu offers a wide variety of salads, wraps, and delicious treats. They include a lot of gluten free and vegan options. I ordered a banana bread slice, and when she gave it to me, she included an extra one because she felt the slice was too small on its own - amazing! They use coffee cubes instead of ice cubes so your drink doesn’t get watered down, which is ingenious. They don’t include a tip option when paying by machine, and none of us carried cash, but we would have easily left them a $20 bill. Please give them your service and come visit this place!

Ahh Yay's popular Walnut Taco Salad is really good, also their Breakfast Burrito. Food is mainly vegetarian, with lots of flavours to keep your taste buds happy. Had lunch here a couple days ago...absolutely LOVED IT! This place is all about quality and you can tell they put love into everything they do. So many things impressed me, so I'll try to hit them all: I love that they use only clean ingredients. Even the coffee cream comes from organic, grass fed cow's milk! Everything is gluten free, only pink Himalayan salt, no processed sugar, and no grains used in any of their food...and at the end of the day, the food was delicious! I had a bowl of Moroccan stew - amazing! You have to try it. They also had an awesome selection of kombucha - locally sourced too. I'm a bit of a kombucha fiend. Loved that all their drinks were living, healthy, and gave attention to quality. In the end, I had the kombucha on tap - absolutely loved it. I'm not one for super sugary drinks - this kombucha was just right. Definitely try the kombucha on tap! Ok, I also had a french press coffee - might be the best coffee I've ever had...and I'm comparing with coffee from places like, Paris and Vienna. Smooth, full flavoured, and not too acidic. Like I said, quality! And the best thing that made me smile...the 'kindness bowl' on the menu. You'll just have to go in to see what that's all about. haha It's pretty awesome though. I can't wait to eat here again. Wish there were more places like ahhYay!

We went for a walk in the 40 degree heat (to hot for me!!) after spending over a week visiting a family member in the hospital... My husband and I stumbled upon this place on the way back and could not have been happier that we did! Not only is it beautiful inside the cafe (not just saying that because we had been staring at 4 white walls for more hours than I can count) but because the staff were friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. They asked why we were in town, showed genuine interest in our loved ones well being and took the time to help us chose some healthy, protein packed treats and the best smoothie we have ever had! The lady that helped us (I apologize I did not catch your name) really made an impression on the both of us.. by simply being a compassionate and kind individual. Thank you all for the wonderful experience. We will make a point to recommend your establishment and stop by every time we are in town!

We stopped in at ahhYaY during a visit to Kamloops after looking for a quick but healthy place to grab a bit of a snack before our dinner plans. Right upon entry we were greeted by cheerful, smiling staff who were more than happy to help us choose from the wide variety of products on the menu. Since we arrived shortly before closing we ended up going with something from the neatly organized cool case full of freshly made selections. We ended up splitting the "walnut taco" (which is more like a generously stuffed buritto), a vegan Ceasar salad, and two different dessert bars. I tell you, whatever your preconceived notions might be about vegan or gluten free food...try this place out and your mind will be blown! Everything was soooooo good and soooo packed with flavour! On top of the amazing food the whole cafe is beautifully designed and is so bright, airy, and open feeling. There is a seperate glassed in area with a gorgeous "live wall" and some reading/study material. In the main cafe area there is a stunning water feature and, looking up the ceiling tiles, even those are works of art in themselves! The whole aeatethic even flows in to the bathrooms with the subtle vine-like pattern flowing from the floor on up to the walls (the bathrooms appear to reflect "water" and "earth" depending on which one you go in to). Highly recommend checking this place out and we'll for sure be back to try more delicious menu items next time we're in Kamloops! ????????????????????????????????

Recently tried out the Cafe during my hospital stay after having my 3rd baby. What a great option this is to have over hospital food. I ordered the deep roots bowl - fresh, flavorful, variety of texture and the dijon maple dressing was incredible. Highly recommend! This food fuels you and successfully makes you feel human again!
