More a snack shop than a real grocery store. Lots of sweets, chips, soda drinks, coffee, some frozen meals, but no fresh veggies. They do have some apples and bananas, though. Ok for very basic needs, but not more.

First of this store doesn’t even deserve a star. My husband an I are visiting Canada from California for the first time we first arrived in Calgary and boy we were so amazed as to how friendly the people are then we headed to Edmonton to visit a family and they toured us around and same impression all of the Canadians are soo genuinely friendly! Then today we arrived here in Jasper we needed to buy some basic needs and this was the very first grocery store we stopped by on our way to our lodge and we regret it...upon check out we asked the cashier if they have single serve coffee beans and the cashier was already giving us an attitude so I didn’t mind I thought he was just having a bad day or something then I got confused with the Canadian coins and politely asked him to please bear with us since we are just visiting and it’s our first time here (there wasn’t even any people in the line and moreso in the store) and this freaking Asian cashier that doesn’t even have a name tag, out of no where responded “well you have to learn” and then I asked is this how you treat your customers? He just stared at us looking like he wanted to say something nasty and so we got our money refunded and left this displeasing, uninviting, unfriendly small store that ruined our stay here in Jasper. TO YOU THE STORE CASHIER AND TO WHOEVER OWNS THIS STORE PLEASE TEACH YOUR STAFF GOOD MANNERS RIGHT CONDUCT AND MOST OF ALL GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE NO WONDER NO ONE IS BUYING IN YOUR STORE PLEASE DONT BE A DISGRACE TO YOUR BEAUTIFUL TOWN JASPER and TO ALL TOURISTS OUT THERE BEWARE JUST GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE.

The staff is friendly and their bakery is really delicious. It's fresh made too! I recommend trying out the big buns and cheese sausage sticks.

We were looking for a sandwich shop for a picnic, and stumbled across Tags. It's a convenience store with tons of different kinds of hot coffee, chocolate and candy bars, snacks, and fresh made subs to order. I had a roast beef sub that was very good and a fraction of the price of eating at a local restaurant (about $6 CND). The clerk made it right in front of me, with fresh lettuce and toppings, unlike the cold prepackaged sandwiches I saw in a refrigerator case at the bakery next door.

Tags was a nice convenience grocery store and delicatessen located close to the Jasper Downtown Hostel where we stayed. We could buy a lot of ready to eat food packets and also a variety of green teas and coffee. Bread, cookies and chocolates were also readily available. We bought some dips and cracker biscuits which we had as a light snack in the hostel kitchen. Ice-creams and soft drinks were also available. Frozen meats were also available.

Loads of coffee choices and snacks to choose from. It also has an ATM inside. When we went in on that day it was warm inside - don't know if this is the norm but it wasn't great.

This is my third time in Jasper and my third time to this shop. We simply cant go past the fresh baked muffins every morning in particular the orange and cranberry. They are still warm of a morning and have a crunchy top and are under $2. You won't find them there if we've been as we buy them all.
