It’s nice place to enjoy a cuppa coffee. My cortado was good. You don’t have to order from the front like other cafe. If you wanna enjoy sun and outside while you are eating or drinking coffee, this is the place to visit in jasper. I liked their green smoothie as well :) I had breakfast sandwiches and it was great. I wanted to have a sausage roll but it was sold out. It must be popular!

Then lastly we ordered coconut blueberry bircher was outstanding there was a lot of organic stuff in it. Amazing food 5 star rating. This place is a must visit in Jasper and we would not be able to look at breakfast the same way again!!

Wonderful space, with a glass room, letting in a lot of light and wonderful views of the rockies and Jasper town. I love the outdoor terrace seating. They even have blankets to keep you cozy as you enjoy the cold mountain air and your coffee. Coffee is excellent. I wish they had more vegan food options.

Got the breakfast bun with a side of crispy chats and roast mushroom & pesto hash. They didn't have any milk buns available so I got it on a tasty sourdough instead. Food came pretty quickly since we had just missed the lunch rush. It's too bad the weather was quite smokey because there's a beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony. Server was nice and the cafe itself is beautiful. Would come again!

Takeaway the Canadian scenery out the window and I would have guessed that I was back in Melbourne. It's hard to find such a high quality café anywhere in North America so this was a nice surprise. I will definitely come back whenever I get the chance.

This place was awesome. I had the baguette and my wife had the avacados sourdough. Both of us were very happy with our meals. Very delicious lattes as well. We are likely going back again tomorrow as they had Basque cheesecake, and I've wanted to try it for a LONG time. Can't wait. Also a special thank you to our waitress who was one of the best I've had. Super friendly and attentive.

I came through Jasper last year around this time and stopped here for breakfast, I got the breakfast sandwich and really liked it, service and food were good. This time was far less impressive, it took 15 mins to get a simple drip coffee, I ordered the avocado toast which was quite dull, a piece of plain sourdough with a few slices of avocado on top, and a poached egg that was so raw most of the white was still clear. I sent it back and it came back more reasonably cooked, but overall this isn't even close to the avocado toast I've had at other places. The servers were nice but for a 25$ breakfast it really wasn't up to par in my opinion.

One of the best breakfast spots I’ve been to! It doesn’t have many food options but I would still come back for every meal to try everything because it was so good!! There’s a really nice chill vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating gives you a view of the town and also the mountains in the background. Service was great and quick. We ordered the roasted mushroom and pesto hash, coconut blueberry bircher and a flat white. My fave was the roasted mushroom. Everything on that dish- kale with olive oil, sourdough with poached egg, potatoes, mushrooms and pesto- was perfect!! The coconut chia overnight oats was also good and very refreshing. Would definitely recommend!

Came here for some patio brunch with my boyfriend. Everything from the food to the atmosphere to the service was absolutely top notch! Our server was very sweet and took the time to explain some of the menu items, she was good to check in on us throughout the meal. For drinks we ordered an iced latte and a chai turmeric latte, both absolutely delicious! As for the food, wow. Definitely an elevated brunch experience. I ordered the breakfast bun and my boyfriend ordered the pesto hash, which looked and tasted amazing. Highly recommend supporting this place! Just dress warm if you’re coming on a windy day :)

I tried this place based on the rating but was underwhelmed. Coffee was good. Mushroom & hash was decent but with only 1 small piece of bread. I wouldn’t recommend the mascarpone french toast if you think of a succulent eggy french toast. The bread (sourdough) wasn’t soaked in egg batter properly, was dry inside, yet was touch outside. It wasn’t seared properly. I didn’t taste any egg at all. The topping was ok but there was some stale oily taste in the hazelnut crumble. The part of bread with topping on was soggy with very little flavour because there was no coating of batter outside. I had better breakfasts in my week-long stay in Jasper. Overpriced for the quality of the food in my opinion. The service was good though.

I'm torn with Sunhouse. On one hand, the food is very good and provides a unique, organic taste. On the other hand, it's quite expensive to go to. I'm all for good quality, so you need to be prepared to spend $15 for just a sandwich. It was very tasty though, so I'll give them that. I would easily go back for an experience like that. Maybe not every time, but I could be convinced. ;)

The views were spectacular!????️???? Our waitress was very sweet and even recommended we check out Maligne Canyon(A must see in Jasper). Happy they had a few different Gluten Free options and the light feel to the dishes left you feeling satisfied but not stuffed. ???? We tried the; - roast mushroom ???? & pesto hash + crispy smoked ham - avocado ???? on sourdough(sub GF) But were delicious ???? I did wish there was more pesto on my dish but overall very good. Coffee was Monogram and we appreciated the Calgary connection. ☕????

It wasn’t overly busy either and there seemed sufficient staff at the time. Prices were a little expensive for what you got. But the sausage roll did look fantastic. Tasty nevertheless.

Looking for something a little different for breakfast? Sunhouse is the place! A small breakfast menu but some great choices and serving sizes are generous not to mention very tasty. Weather was great and we were able to sit outside overlooking the street as the sun continued to rise. Next time I am in Jasper I will most definitely be trying something different. Their mascarpone French toast they have on the menu right now is unbelievably good. But so is everything else. Sat down for breakfast, got seated pretty quickly. I had ordered the smoothie and asked to order my main but the server asked me to wait to order the main probably because it seemed really busy. We then waited over 25 minutes to order our main followed by another 30 minutes till our food actually came. For people of colour: We also felt heavily discriminated against with one of servers so be cautious of that. Food was good but I would not wait over an hour and a half for breakfast. Especially somewhere with racist staff

Found a live moth in my side salad and could not get a hold of a server while having my avocado sourdough. 1 hour waiting post food/drink order :( No sincere apology but the server made a lame excuse of saying, “it must flied over the salad” when asked for the bill. Good latte but with uncertainty in food quality and obnoxious services, I decide to leave a negative review for this cafe.

Great accidental find - tucked away on the second floor up a bit of a dodgy staircase, but once you open the door it is bright and clean and has an amazing home made breakfast menu with unique healthy options, table service, friendly staff. Delicious! We had to wait a while and it is a bit chaotic due to the small space. Once seated the service was quick, friendly, and efficient. The food was outstanding and the coffee (by Monogram in Calgary) was amazing. Well worth the visit, especially if you can come on an off day and avoid the wait.

House made sourdough, perfectly cooked eggs for the breakfast sandwich accompanied by the most delicious and perfectly crisped bacon. YES PLEASE. Still dreaming about the food. We also tried out the banana bread with berry compote, ricotta, and pistachios - which we devoured. Love it here. Staff is super friendly. Small space, so you may need to wait or get it to go but either way it's worth it!

This place is a gem in Jasper! I'm not going to say it's a hidden one because heaps of people seem to know about it! Very cute location and aesthetic with the sunroof and patio views! Food here was also super yummy and the coffee was great! Staff were awesome and friendly as well. Make sure you get here before 9:30 as it tends to get very very busy especially on weekends!

Friendly staff gets them their 2 stars. Focus is only in presentation, so if you're instagraming it and don't care to eat you may like the place. Had the "avocado on sourdough", which translates to 1 poached egg, on a slice of avacado on a slice of bread with some greens sprinkled on it for $15. Add a bla coffee. Tried friends order of "macadamia milk bircher" that she didn't finish. My friend went to Tim Hortons to get a coffee after, I went to A&W (which I consider trash) to get a burger because 3 bites to finish an egg/avacado/bread-slice wasn't going to sustain me for a drive to BC. Swallow hispter wannabe place, looks nice (period)

Not great. Too long to wait for bland unseasoned food. Avocado toast with zero butter, salt or flavour. It seemed a bit pretentious for what we actually got. On the avocado toast, a strange combination of tons of raw spinach plus parsley and a couple of micro cubes of grapefruit on top. It just didn't go. Trying too hard I guess. We noticed also no hair tied back on servers or cooks.

A real find. Try their Macadamia Bircher; between the oats and the granola with hints of apple and mango, berries and coconut and the quality of the ingredients, a meatless breakfast has never tastes better. Or their Roasted Mushrooms and Eggs, where the kale hits the spot. You could order a side of smoked ham; they serve it grilled and even cutting against the grain with a spoon, it falls apart. Sit out on their balcony and wash the above down with Breakfast Tea or a Flat White, and one does not know how time flies. A must visit if in the area.

Ate here both mornings we were in Jasper, it was definitely worth a return visit. After a week on the road, I was very much looking forward to a egg breakfast and this did not disappoint. The coffee is also delicious! Very friendly staff who remembered us from the previous day and treated us like locals. Lovely, bright environment which was so nice to just sit and take the morning in before heading off on our adventures. The glass roof and surrounding windows allowed for a 180 degree view of the street below and mountainous backdrop. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Jasper. Best breakfast I had in Canada!

We love this place. While we don't have artsy photos or a specific harm-warming memory, we can tell you this: we moved to jasper a week ago and have been here three mornings already. The staff is exceptional and so welcoming. The food is fantastic, and the coffee is my aussie husband's fave in all of north america so far. We stopped here three days in a row. We had the full breakfast on the first day (the French toast is incredible). We tried the brew, macadamia nut lattes & cookies the following days. All delicious! The only reason I’m not giving five stars is because of the speed. We waited about 15 minutes for take out brew coffee which is fine if you’re not in a rush. Just something to know before you go.

If you’re a tea lover and you happen to be in Jasper: DO NOT LEAVE BEFORE HAVING A CUP OF TEA from Sunhouse cafe. I have tried many chai lattes and besides one little coffee shop in Cork Ireland, I’d been left disappointed. Even when the cafes have thrown in ‘organic’ it’d be nothing but bland and frothy milk. BUT I had a chai latte at Sunhouse on September 15th, 2020 and it was the most wonderful tea I’d had in many months! The spice and hint of honey hits your pallet in an explosive yet balancing way! It’s highly recommended! Well worth every penny! The breakfast was amazing. The breakfast baguette was simply wonderful! The customer service was perfect! I didn’t catch their names but they were all wonderful. The food is wonderful. The tea is wonderful! The setting is wonderful! If I could, I would give more than 5 stars!

Stumbled across this gem downtown beautiful Jasper. Very cool location looking over the busy street with the glass ceiling. Food was delicious, excellent coffee and drinks. Had the breakfast sandwich, can't wait for another. Staff were very accommodating and pleasant. Prices were affordable.

Truely an amazing place. Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. My fiance and I both had the Americano and Breakfast Bun and it was absolutely amazing. This is a hidden gem. Fantastic room, great service and healthy food (something Jasper is seriously lacking - but that's likely all of Alberta). The baristas in Jasper in general are impressive and these guys are the top of the game (along with the dude at Harvest Foods - his coffee are is legit, the best I've ever seen). It's a bit crammed but that kind of adds the the ambiance. To the owner or manager: please fix the west door, it slams and it's annoying.

We had an interesting experience coming here in late june on a sunday, we were seated pretty quickly but there were a few things we noticed. There were only two waitresses for like 12 tables plus a continuous stream of to go orders so it took a while for someone to take our order. On top of that theres only one chef and only one drink maker, so it took another 20 minutes to get our lattees and a total of 50 minutes to get our sandwich and crepe. The lattee was definitely one of the best ive ever had, and the sandwich was pretty good too but it took very long to come to us. The waiting staff also had to do the dishes on top of their waiting duties and till duties. I would suggest maybe hiring another wait staff for these really busy weekend mornings. So in all Food: 4/5 Service 3/5 Wait time 1/5

My girlfriend and I have this lovely place in our Jasper morning rotation routine. They have a qinderful selection of warm and cold drinks to help start your day. Their food ingredients are carefully curated and amazing culinary talent involved in each dish. My two top favorites are the Marscapone French Toast and the Wild Mushroom Pesto Hash. The sauces are so complex, smooth and engineered its absolutely delicious. Be sure to come right at opening to get the best customer service, seating and cook times for your meal. This is the best way to fuel up for youer hike! Enjoy!

We went here this summer on Sept 4, 2018. Great breakfast place, complete with a pyramid style glass Ceiling on the 2nd floor, a view of the mountains (the gondola lift) to the south and funky relaxed music playing In the background. Excellent flat white. I had the Breakfast sandwich with real ham, Fried Egg, a sweet tomato and hummus on fresh toasted sour dough bread. My wife had poached egg, avocado, Arugula, on sour dough toast. I kept hesitating drinking my water having flashbacks from science lab. For fun they serve water in the big brown glass bottles they used to store chemistry lab chemicals in. Will I go again definitely!!! We googled best breakfast in Jasper and Sunhouse Cafe came up. We were not disappointed; the food was delicious; service was excellent. We sat where we could see the Chef working. The Cafe was so busy. The Chef and Baristas were so amazing, the group of us actually stood up and applauded the them. The Cafe is small and charming so it may be a bit of a wait, but well worth it.

For some reason this pace didn't pop up when I Google cafe in Jasper. Instead I walked into it by accident. A fortunate accident as their cover and breakfast are very good. I had the poached eggs on sourdough with avocado. The cafe or self had a lovely observatory type design that lets lots of light on and off it's warm enough a balcony door outside seating. Highly recommended.

Unbeatable views. Outstanding coffee. Unique and healthy menu. Yuppie paradise. My husband felt the portions were too small for the price. But he is not really a yuppie. Staff were friendly but slightly pretentious. Choose your timing well as there is not much seating space in winter. Reservations are not taken here. We arrived upon opening so there were not any pastries/treats available, but the breakfast that we had was amazing. The service was also wonderful. We had perfectly poached eggs on sourdough with avocado and a breakfast sandwich with the most delicious thinly sliced crispy ham. The coffee was also lovely. Beautiful space as well. I will say that it is quite expensive, so we only went once as a treat. That is just something to be aware of if you plan on going.

Food was good. Service was rude and unreliable. Servers would make rude comments when the table next to ours just ordered coffee and no food. This is a coffee house and says "speciality coffee," on the building. I stayed an extra 5 minutes to upload photos to my labtop. The server became rude so I ordered a hot chocolate to-go (5 dollars). Worst hot chocolate I have ever had. It was watery milk with unmixed powder. This shows how pretentious the staff can be. It was disappointing that the servers treat people differently based on their perceived tip or if someone just wants to order a coffee.

It took a little bit of searching to find this upstairs breakfast cafe but it proved well worth it. The menu is short but everything on it that we tried was well-thought out and delicious. The staff were friendly and upbeat. The sunroof provided plenty of light and there was a decent view of the mountains around Jasper. The espresso coffee was also good. To summarise, we returned for a second visit!

Had breakfast here one cold October morning and it was definitely worth the ~20 minute wait. The space is small but airy and inviting. The food was comforting breakfast food but with fine dining-like presentation and quality. Came back the next morning for more.

The food, coffee, and cheesecake are absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is A+. The aesthetics and presentation is on point. But I'm writing this review for the lady who served me two days in a row. I do not know her name, but she was from Czech Republic. Because of her recommendation, I got to see a part of Jasper I wouldn't have made the time to see, and it was absolutely breathetaking and I managed some great photographs, so thank you for taking the time to talk to me.

Spent a lovely early evening at Sunhouse last weekend. An exciting small plate menu paired with a colourful selection of beer and wine was topped off with wonderful views of the mountains. My partner and I shared the charcuteire board and summer salad, then finished with the delicious grilled peaches. Highly recommend a visit while in Jasper.

Great spot for brunch. On a warm day you can sit outside on the second floor balcony and enjoy so of the chefs creative and healthy offerings. Service was fast and friendly and the coffee is pretty good too!

We had just drove 3h30 from Canmore and decided to eat Brunch here before begining the Maligne Canyon hike. The coffee, food, servive, and views were amazing!

Simply amazing. The decor is very modern. It has a somewhat hipster feel. There is a balcony where you can sit and enjoy your meal. We got the waffles and the mushroom hash. The waffles were amazing (not too sweet). The mushroom has was ok. The latte was AWESOME. We ordered another latte because it was that good. The con is that there is only 1 washroom which is out of the restaurant. I loved it, and would go back.

Breakfast sandwich was real good. Avacado and poached egg thing was just OK. Quite pricey entrees and perhaps not the best place for young kids under say 10 or so years - our older two kids enjoyed it though.

Loved it, perfect....and a second visit on Sept 8 and it was equally amazing, clearly very popular place for good reason...it was packed, but the epic wait staff effectively managed us and everyone. Keep up the good work guys, love this place!

Amazing little Cafe. Small welcoming feel. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was great. Definitely a great place to stop and have a small bite to eat and warm up with a hot drink.

The breakfast here was amazing!! We had the breakfast bun with added halloumi and the pea fritter both were packed with flavour. The breakfast bun had an array of different sauces, textures and tastes that were well balanced. The value for money is really good, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful - I’d go back time and time again!
