Had our first BeaverTails here and they did not disappoint. While our server forgot to input our order, they quickly found out after a couple got their order ahead of us - despite us ordering first. Food came our really quickly afterwards and was very good. Would definitely come back! I forgot to take pictures as it was so good!

A nice place for an afternoon treat! I tried the classic with cinnamon sugar and it was really tasty. The pastry was cooked very well as it was crispy but still a bit soft. I was pleasantly surprised!

The store is big enough to accommodate a few families and group of friends. It’s along main avenue so there’s a few street parking. The beaver tail itself was kinda okay. We tried the Lemon n Cinnamon and it tastes good! Although, it’s a bit pricey for just a piece of deep fried flour. But different people have different taste after all, so it’s all good!

As iconic as Beaver Tails are in the Jasper/Banff area, they are just alright. The pastry itself is quite delicious, and the original (cinnamon and sugar) is our favorite. The cookies n cream flavor is also yummy. Although we have noticed that they have gone from being soft and fluffy to crispy and crunchy. There is almost always a huge lineup and they are a little pricey for a one donut-like treat. Overall, it’s a nice treat once in a while.

The taste is great and the variety is good . You can have a taste of the authentic or mix it up . Definitely a tourist attraction. Normally the Bannock treat is Done out of a street cart . But this is a full decked out store . With ice cream and you can commemorate the experience with a t-shirt or a sweater . Real fun and a must do

Hey guys..I recently visited Jasper. Its a beautiful place. One best thing I experienced over there was BeaverTails restaurant. Seriously, I love it. Their food was so delicious. Excellent customer service. I also met with the owner, whose name was Tirath Sharma. He was such a nice guy. I can only say, If you ever visit Jasper do not miss to visit BeaverTails. Went to support this local business. Showed up 3 seperate occations and the store was closed but the sign with the store hours stated otherwises. On the 4th attempt a guy walks up and unlocks the store. With an attitude he proceeded to tell me that they don't usually open during the week days. So why doesn't their sign say they are? I can see the sign has been changed several times from all the previously crossed out hours. First impression of this store was not a good one. If this guy was the owner, then he should learn how to run a business and if he is just an employee, then I hope the store owner is reading this review. Re: A group of us tried to visit your store on Dec 26, 27 and 28. On Monday, we showed up at 10:30am, and saw your sign indicating opening was at 11:00am. We left and came back at 11:30am and it was still closed to our disappointment. A few minutes a man shows up to tell us the store isn't normally open during the week day. Perhaps he meant during the mornings? We didn't end up ordering because we felt that our business wasn't appreciated. We will have to try the one in Banff.

Visit by December 18, 2021, 16:45. This employee kept saying “here you go, man!”, “have a good day, man!” to customers???? We just couldn’t see any professionalism with this employee???? I requested a receipt for my purchase, he turned his iPad and told me “here, take a picture, man!” I did make a comment on his attitude, but he said just gave me this????‍♂️ Please do respect customers☹️

I recently went with my daughter to the new Jasper location. Being a local, I was excited for the new addition to town. While waiting in line, there were a few things that concerned me... especially during a world wide pandemic. The front staff taking orders (black shirt.. possibly manager) was not enforcing social distancing guidelines. While I understand that some businesses have chosen not to enforce their employees to wear masks, this particular business has chosen to not follow extra precautions regarding the coronavirus. The man at the front taking orders was on his phone walking around the kitchen/prep area. He was also NOT washing his hands before taking orders. The man also yawned into his hands and proceeded to give an item to a guest. All of this especially concerns me because Jasper is a small town with limited hospital resources that would be highly impacted should an outbreak of COVID-19 occur due to lack of preventative measures taken. I am giving this review 1 star with the expectation that management will start improving their sanitary practices.

We came as visitors for site seeing in Jasper, we came in for desserts and 2 of our children needed to use the bathroom . Both bathrooms were locked with a sign that states that they are "out of order " when I asked they said that someone" threw toilet paper in the toilets and the plumber is coming to repair the toilet" they also took the second bathroom out of service apparently because the staff are using it to store their personal properties. The imployees told us to go to A@W down the street for our children to use the bathroom. As far as I know being on the hospitality industry a restaurant is to provide a bathroom when seating is available.

First time visit at Beavertail Jasper as I heard abt it a lot. Pastry no doubt was soft but couldn’t justify cost. Size of pastry and topping were very less. Ordered Poutail, had small size macD fries, 4-5 cheesecurd, 1-2 teaspoon of gravy on small size pastry. Long story short- do not assume ur food portion based on photos on Beavertails. Pictures are very misleading overthere.

Visited in the evening, was one of about three customers. There was one gentleman running the fryer and a lady taking orders. One of the customers before me held up the staff by complaining that her ice cream tasted old and asking that it be replaced and that she be allowed to sample the ice creams before they dished up her replacement scoop. Perhaps this distracted the guy working the fryer because 2 of the 3 things I ordered were undercooked and soggy in the middle. One of them was the 'beaverdog' meaning the hotdog was cold and surrounded by goey, uncooked dough in the centre. Bit disappointing, but if you ate around the undercooked parts, it was okay. Honestly, they weren't much to write home about, but it's chain food, so I didn't go in with super high expectations to begin with, just wanted a sweet snack and something savoury for the drive out of the park.

My girlfriend ordered two beaver tails. Her order came out and they employee insisted it was for the person who ordered after her. I watched 8 people after her walk out with their orders while she waited. When she twice asked the employee where her order was they replied impatiently, that it would be another 10 minutes. Then they gave her only one of her beaver tails and refused to give the second, demanding to see a receipt which they never gave her. She checked her bank statement and they had charged her for two. She was almost in tears when she finally came out. She doesnt talk back and is always polite and they treated her horribly.

However at the Jasper location I'm always so disappointed to see such a long line up and just a single employee slaving away to fulfill all the orders. This review is specifically for the Jasper, AB location as we’ve tried many other before and we loved them. We were at the one in Jasper today and the size of the tail is almost half of regular size. The bananarama had a smear almost transparent of nutella and 5 slices of banana. The banana was so so green that was inedible. But the worst part is that there was only one attendant who was getting payments, some of them in cash and then prepping the tails without washing hands ???? grabbing the ingredients with his bare hands ???? First and last time purchasing at this location

I had BeaverTail the day before in Banff and was excited to have it again when I was in Jasper at their location. I was disappointed to see how small their serving was compared to the Banff location. It wasn't busy when we came in, and the tables were not being cleaned. The garbage cans were far from the seating area that customers would often leave their garbage on the table. You also had to ask for napkins at the front for they don't give you any or have any out for easy assess. Still enjoyed my treat however was disappointed at this location.

Don't buy the icecream they are embarassingly cheap. I asked for a reasonable scoop and was denied so here is the photo. The beaver tail is ok but still not the franchises normal standard. Just save yourself the disappointment and take your business elsewhere.

Came here after seeing someone’s Google review. Now, I can say it’s definitely worth coming here. Super delicious food and super friendly staff. We ordered Strawberry Cheesecake, Avalanche, The Classic, Apple Pie and Strawberry Lemonade. Everything was perfectly made and tasted like heaven. Kids enjoyed their food very much. Both worker’s had a smile on their faces even though they were quite busy. Wonderful experience. Will be back next year.

My gf and I were at this outlet in July. We, each, had the classic plus we bought 2 more for our friends who were camping at Wapiti. They were awesome. Fast forward to August 20th weekend. We again went to each have a classic. Both were under cooked and doughy in the center. Neither had much cinnabon as well. We figured they were rushed or had a bad night. Fine. The next night we went back and tried again. Same result. That was it for us. Never again in Jasper. Next month we are staying in Banff. There are two stores there. We will give them a try. Come on Beaver Tails Jasper....fix this.

Wasn’t impressed at all with this place. We’ve been to a few Beaver Tails and this was by far the worst one. Got a Beavertail and it had a hole in the middle so the toppings were falling through. Also there was barely any toppings on it at all and did not look like the picture. I went back in and he proceeded to tell me that the batter is sometimes like that. I asked for a new one and he seemed annoyed. The second one was better but again barely any toppings on it. Will not be going back here again.

I sadly was denied my Beaver tail indulgence. I went to the location in Jasper, AB at approx 1920. The location was open till 2000. I arrived to find the open sign on and the door locked. An employee managed to notice me. He opened tbe door and said "we were not very busy today so we are closed now". Needless to say I was very disappointed. Please stay open until advertised or make it clear that you are closing early. I very rarely get to enjoy Beaver Tails and was very disheartened to be turned down today.
