I find the system of the shopping carts inconvenient. I found myself with no looney often because I have no cash using platic , the clerk would not give me one on a credit card and offered no alternative to get a cart to take my groceries to my car. The person who will take your cart, when you have one, also wants the looney. It's only a looney, but shopping at No Frills actually costs a looney more compared to the other places in Timmins. I wish the cart system would be curtailed. It would make shopping there better. Today I was so frustrated that I asked to speak to the manager to voice my discontent, the cashier said she was the manager ! My wife loves this store, but I do not.

Expect to find shelves of food along 4 walls and a roof to make up this old-school shopping experience. Once you have a basket or 'shopping cart' full of items, you make your way to the machines that tally up your grocery amounts, (aka:checkouts) they will expect payment on the spot, no store credit available but does accept the big 3 credit card companies as payment option as well. Bags cost $0.05 but they are the best thick kind, better than that blue store with all the smiles.

Everyone has worked together to get stores and all other services open by everyone doing their part. How ever when Premier Ford said time to open, Ontario began to open things up, at no time did he say for everyone to stop sanitizing. Letting people use plastic baskets and shopping carts with out them being sanitized after each use will not help keep us safe. I enjoy getting your produce but until you go back to sanitizing after every use and go back to not putting money in the carts. I will no longer shop here or any other store that doesn't sanitize after each use.

It was crazy busy with Xmas/covid shoppers yesterday. At one point they had to restrict the number of people coming into the store. The staff and manager rallied quickly to clear the lineup at the cash. The staff were very pleasant throughout.

I <3 No Frills. It's my favorite grocery store for all things. Though, not 5 stars just because the layout of this store didn't seem that intuitive. I don't always go here and it took me forever to find produce that was supposed to be on the main displays. Just a few small things but it didn't hinder my shopping that much.

Disappointed! Because at checkout cashier told me they do not accept Credit Cards, only accept Debits. Like really, such a big grocery franchise and still not accepting Visa credits. Shame man!
