As always, a good place to stop for a break on the drive into/out of Vancouver. Something, of a staple in Hope, I suspect they have been a major reason for Hope's downtown area evolution over the last couple of decades. Good food, quick service. The drawback is their current lack of washrooms.

The falafel wrap was tasty, but it wasn't the best Falafel wrap I have had. The falafels were not warm and there were tiny bit of veggies and my tortilla chips were 1/3 as much as my friend got with her chicken sandwich. The chips were just tortilla chips from bags. I felt they were too dry without sauce. Service was fast considering how busy the cafe was. The washroom I used had some water leaks from the ceiling and it wasn't pleasant to have some clean or unclean water dripping on my head when I was using the toilet. We were often suggested to visit this cafe if in Hope by our hiker friends. But, I don't see what makes this place so special after all. I would pick another cafe or a diner for breakfast and choose a restaurant for lunch, instead.

Great place. I would recommend ordering a quinoa salad. Taste like any ordinary cafe you would go to, although its on tripadvisor's top 1 resturant. Hope doesnt have good resturants, go to here!

Moderately sized cafe with a more modern leaning atmosphere for most cafes but still with a cozy cafe feel. If you don't come at peak hours it's not that busy but lines can get quiet long. The staff are amiable and the food is good, I recommend the triple berry scone.

Disappointing, not a very good environment and way too overpriced. I honestly have no idea why this is so highly rated. We stopped here for lunch and although my boyfriend liked the milkshake the sandwiches were really disappointing. There was 1 slice of turkey on my sandwich and about quarter chicken breast on his chicken club, to top it off those 3 things were $30… If you just need coffee it’s probably a good place but I wouldn’t recommend eating here.

It is shameful that a business that sells drinks and food is allowed to close their washroom to the public and make it someone else's problem to provide washroom services. We are supposed to be washing our hands during a pandemic. Otherwise a great restaurant.

Disappointing experience. We read that there were lots of GF options but they were limited to just a few choices. They got my husband's GF order wrong but did fix it pretty fast. I had the breakfast burrito (not GF) and it was so bad I took one bite and couldn't eat anymore - the eggs tasted so powdery and the tomato sauce was super sweet. The coffee was pretty good though and the manager was very helpful when they got the order wrong. Nice spot to break the journey but disappointing food.

We stop here every time we pass through Hope. Haven't tried anything that wasn't delicious yet! Huge selection of breakfast and lunch items, and yummy coffee and treats. Usually busy, long line for the bathroom, and a bit of a wait for food, but worthwhile. Extra points for their obvious attention to cleanliness and social distancing during these crazy times!

Covid update- Amazing food selection for a "coffee House " friendly staff and lots of indoor seating(when permitted again). Everything taste so good. Take out only plenty of safety barriers. Small patio for outdoor eating.

Your beverage choice may be easy but trying to choose (or not to choose) from foods and snack on display and made fresh... well thats just a wonderful problem to have with a great ending. Very cool and casual cafe in Hope. Chill vibes, lots of lounging space and interesting art/decor. We brought our own games to play after grabbing a bite to eat. The staff was friendly and didn't rush us out the door even though we took a bit past closing to finish our game. French onion soup made my whole week! The broth was fantastic and the bread hearty. The cheese on top was ooey gooey and fantastic! One of the best french onion soups I've ever had. The chicken pot pie was okay, not my favourite though. Good crust but not enough filling! I'd swap out the chicken breast for thigh meat...to make it more tasty and juicy! I'd go back for the French onion soup alone!!

Certainly the most popular cafe in Hope! They serve real coffee here, which is refreshing! Located right in front of the park, accompanied by quite a few wood carvings along the street, and the ex gun shop (now a wood carver and beads shop) where the movie Rambo was shot, this is certainly a good meeting spot to get conversations going! I enjoy their soup for cold days. They also has a good range of cakes and quick lunch offers

Was a bad experience, kinda sit down and get ignored. The whole place had to share one menu on a stand at the end of a lineup just before you order while 4 people stood behind the counter counting sheep. Management has to do better if you want returning customers. The whole vibe sucked.

This was a wonderful little coffee house. Great place for food and good coffee when you are in Hope BC. If you have kids, the park is access the street. If you read my previous review it was a mistake and meant for the Holiday Inn in Vancouver. My apologies to the Blue Moose.

Very good coffee. Yummy falafel wraps, almond croissants, and danishes. Kid friendly and good for larger groups. We had two families with 6 kids, we found the space to be large enough and felt quite comfortable.

I stopped in as I was charging my Nissan Leaf at the DCFC electric car charger on the corner. Amazing coffee shop with a massive selection of snacks and meals. It was tough to decide but I went with a feta cheese pastry that was super good. Topped it off with a vanilla latte for the road. Loads of room in here and looks like a great place to bring a laptop with free wifi

What an amazing selection of delicious baked goods! The cinnamon bun was really yummy with my espresso, and my daughter enjoyed her sausage roll and soy latte. I saw several gluten free options available as well. There are t-shirts and hoodies for sale so I bought one as a Canadian souvenir for my hubby! The vibe is busy and bustling with plenty of tables and comfy sofas to sit on. I'd definitely return to the Blue Moose!

THE PERFECT OTHELLO TUNNELS DETOUR This place was a stellar find. The food and drinks there were excellent and the staff took care of us very well. Unfortunately, I didn't take photos of my food (I thought I had) but it was great. The outside view is not from the restaurant but is about a five minute walk away. It's a great place to get your drinks, food and stretch your legs for a bit.

Great little locally owned coffee house which carry all sort of foods from breakfast to lunch. Inside has limited seating due to the pandemic. The City run washrooms are just a other side of the street which is convenient. I believe muffins and scones are baking daily in the store. It is a gathering place for locals. Quite busy place for sure.

Fabulous place -- buzzing with happy customers -- with friendly staff and good coffee and large and good selection of food. Update May 22nd, 2017: Just as good as 9 months ago! Update July 2019: Service has got much worse. They now expect customers to pick up their own food via flashing electronic buzzers. See attached pic. Very annoying. Minus one star. Food was barely warm. New food was heated better but I received no buzzer and it was left to get cold on the counter and not brought to me. Minus one star. Coffee was in a paper cup, not in a mug. Minus one star. Ironically the buzzer is only for the food which arrived very slowly but long before the coffees. Meaning that you cannot enjoy your good due to continuing to wait for the drinks. Minus one star. Queue for wash rooms was crazy long. Wife queued for a very long time. It's like a coach load will enter the place and all queue at the same time. Need more wash rooms! My wife said the toilets were in a disgusting condition. Minus one star. Summary: Service has gone down hill with so many things going wrong on one visit.

I'm never disappointed with my experience at the Blue Moose Coffee House. The coffee is always good, I especially appreciate the good quality foam on my cappuccinos which can be a problem at other coffee places, and no matter what food item I try I'm happy with it. The service is also excellent and always done with a smile or good attitude. They are also improving the decor including a sensational world map on the wall done in wood.

Our favorit and must stop coffee shop when driving through hope or charging out car. Lattes are delicious and I love their pastries. Also had a yummy wrap and sandwiches. Never had a dusappointing experience other than maybe my favorite berry muffin being sold out! They have lots of room inside, also its always full when we come. Last time we went there was stuff standing at the door to make sure people honor the social distancing, hand sanitizing and mask and face mask advise to keep us all save! Thank you for doing this.

Ordered a GF vegetable wrap. The GF wrap was cardboard even for GF standards. When I ordered the wrap the cashier told me it would be "loaded" with veggies. When I got it, it had mustard, cucumbers, tomatoes and a piece of iceberg lettuce THATS IT !! It looked like a preschooler made it. I notified the staff and they added more vegetables but it was still very subpar for a $10 wrap, it didn't even have cheese. 10/10 would not go back.

Picked up some sandwiches to go and they were so average. Grilled cheese was flavorless and sloppily made. Had more cheese on the outside than in. Chicken sub was so bland. A real bummer considering I've had okay stuff from here before. It's never been amazing but it was alright. After this visit, I doubt we'll go back.

Nice little coffee House with black/dark furniture. Artisan and brewed coffee served. They also have pre-made cold sandwitches for quick bite. Staff seem efficient and quick. The town HOPE is little cute town with small restaurants and caffees surrounded by mountains. We had a 15 minutes stop on our way to Vancouver.

Love the Moose, you can always count on it when stopping through Hope. They have frappe! Their food is as delicious as it looks staring at you from inside the case. Staff are always friendly. This is not a quick stop, this is where you slow down and realize you're on vacation and don't have to rush. They're always busy but get everything out as quickly as possible- well staffed. Leave Starbucks behind, you don't need it when you have Blue Moose.

Stopped here briefly on our way home from the Okanagan. Cute funky coffee shop with friendly staff. I had a chai latte that was terrific and my husband had a chocolate chip cookie which he said was the best. Next time I will stay longer and try more from the menu.

Great place! Surprising there is a place in Hope so accommodating of vegetarian and pescatarian options! We had the beyond sausage bratwurst and the smoked salmon croissant and they were so good! Not the cheapest place but you get what you pay for. The lattes were great as well! Coconut and almond milk options are nice to have. Will come back for sure!

Love the Blue Moose! Always stop for a tea and a snack on my way through town. They've got a great variety of drinks (hot and cold), and some food options. Staff are friendly and covid procedures are being followed.
