The only bad thing I can say about this place is that it is too small and crowded. It's a very friendly environment, whether you're a familiar face or a complete stranger, You're always made to feel at home. They have a wide variety of Canadian food but they specialize in Newfoundland cuisine. The food is delicious and always served with a smile and a laugh

Service was good and timely. Restaurant was cozy and quaint with Newfoundland style music playing overhead. Food ranged between good and okay. •Macaroni noodles were slightly overcooked, the cheese was not tasty and it was extra salty. • Mad Rock Toutons, pancakes and caramel sundae were pretty good. • Partridgeberry cheesecake, handmade was one of their better items but still lacking flavor. The price was on the much higher end. I don't suggest this place for most vegans or those in wheelchair.

We happened upon this place while out for a drive exploring nearby Brigus and Cupids. We had the absolute best time. The staff/owners are amazing. The fish cakes, toutons, touton BLT, and coffee is fantastic! Even if this place is out of your way, it is worth the detour.

Classic Newfoundland fare in a quaint remote location not far from the Mad Rocks and a nice walking trail. Breakfast items regularly available, and the toutons are perfect! Friendly service and ample parking. Accessible.

A nice place for a light meal after completing the Heritage Walking Path. We had no idea what a touton was until we patronized this establishment. We had the cinnamon touton and chili w/garlic bread. The food was good but did not quite meet the hype of other posters. It’s a very small quaint mom & pop eatery with a venue popular with the locals and visitors alike. Certainly a great way for tourist to experience the local palate and flavors.

Always nice to take a drive to Mad Rock Cafe! This is a very quaint rustic breakfast cafe, very cozy, expect a bit of await on weekends, but its a very cool nice place. The owner cooks himself and is very personable. Love it!

You should go to the Mad Rocks cafe! Myself and a few friends stopped I for a coffee and maybe a bite to eat during a late fall motorcycle ride. Excellent Coffee and all day breakfast was had by all ( at 4 o'clock in the afternoon LOL). Very good prices, very good food, very good coffee and most importantly Very Good Service!!! Thanks Mad Rock, we will definitely be back for your awesome hospitality. Great Job
