Went in today before the lockdown happening Monday. There was parking, no line and the best cookies in the East End of Hamilton! Walking in and smelling all the deserts is worth the visit. There was so many cookies and deserts to choose from, I wanted them all! ???? Support your local bakeries! You won’t regret it.

Nice selection of baked goods and pastries, great quality and for a good price. They accept cash only. They also carry a variety of other items. Parking is a bit limited , but you can park on the side street. A good place for tastey desserts.

You people in the Hamilton do not realize what a treat it is to have Sam in your backyard being a second generation Italian and falling in love with the Sicilian cannolis when I went to Sicily ,I was saying to myself why can't they be that good in Canada I'll first and foremost everything taste better in Italy but some stuff is very close or similar. The cannoli is a fresh fried made shell usually made by the baker or the master pastry chef. Where the problem is in today's society is people don't do it anymore they import the shells from Italy as frying shells is time consuming and in today's market people would rather make money then serve a fresh cannoli. Another trick to the cannoli is cream or the filling Sam has perfected that as well. Most bakeries make their own cream and fill the cannolis that come in from Sicily but once you tried Sam's or your local bakery that you know for a fact make their own shells you'll know the difference. Sam his facility his Bakery make one of the best cannolis I tried outside of Sicily great staff great cannolis keep up the good work too Sam and his team, if you're in the area this is a must try it's a staple in Hamilton remember I drive 53 minutes to have these cannolis

'The best cannolis' said several folks at Sam's today. Took my little grandchildren to meet and have their picture taken with Sam. Such a friendly welcome. Sam took time to chat and was generous with samples for the kids. Crispy and tasty inside with creamy melt in your mouth filling. And so much more there . But for us on a blustery rainy day, a long drive from home to East Hamilton for Sam's cannolis: definitely worth it.

Sam's Queenston Bakery is a must for gatherings of any kind! They're the "go to" place for the best Sicilian cannolis, pastries and the best traditional style Italian rum cake! I know people who come from Vaughn to purchase Sam's pastries. Sam himself is so dedicated and kind, and is pretty much there everyday. Friendly staff up front. Oh, and the best zeppoles for Easter are here! Salute!

Real home style Italian bakery with freshly baked biscotti, cakes and the best Sicilian and Venetian Cannolis I have ever tasted!!! I've been in here a handful of times, and I'm now becoming a more regular customer. It's not about how delicious everything is, though he makes the best Sicilian Cannolis I've ever had, it's about the man. Sam is extremely friendly and always happy when you walk in the door - and that's what brings people back! Just a really genuinely happy and nice man. A quick story: I went in a few weeks back to pick up some desserts. I ordered and went to pay, forgetting that it is cash only. I only had a $10 and it came to $13, he said not to worry about it and to get him next time. Naturally I had to go back sooner rather than later to get more desserts and to pay him back for that. Understand that I'm not a regular customer and it had been a long time since my last visit. He just put trust that I'd come back and he got repeat business sooner because of that trust! TIPS: as noted, this shop is CASH ONLY. Also note that if you want mini cannolis you need to order in advance. One of my first trips here was to get a giant cannoli stuffed with mini cannolis for my Mom's birthday - those did not last. Highly recommended if you're having a large gathering.

The best canolis I’ve ever had. I live 6 hours away and have yet to find anyone to match Sam’s, despite trying over 2 dozen other shops. Also the custard cake is next level. I’ve been eating it on my birthday since I was a year old. I’ve been told it’s an acquired taste, so I urge everyone to acquire that taste immediately!

Terrible customer service, I went there to order a one ingredient cake for my wife's birthday and I was told by the girl behind the counter that the baker would get mad if she is asked to prepare a cake that she is not used to prepare! And that she was not taking my order... I left there very disappointed. Never coming back...

Best Cannoli 'S IN HAMILTON. Not sure what the problem with the two star review when I was there the girl at the counter was nice. But you were rude and very demanding. Maybe the heat got to you. We had a craving for cannolis and found this wonderful bakery in Hamilton. They offer two types of cannolis and both are very good. We really enjoyed the Sicilian cannoli. Prices are very reasonable too. However do note that it's cash only payment.

Sam has been part of my family's traditions since I was a kid. Birthday's or holidays, his rum cake was and still is always on our list. Since I was a kid I've always loved his sprinkle rainbow cookies and I still do :p From the cannoli's (best in the city) to his venetian creams, Sam is a real Hamilton treasure and we hope he lives and works forever! Sam’s Bakery has the best cannoli I’ve ever had. I was in Venice, Italy last year and the cannoli I had was not comparable to Sam’s. The cannoli at Sweet Paradise, Fortino’s and Monastery Bakery in Oakville don’t measure up to all. The reason: the shell is not as good as Sam’s. The closest match to Sam’s is Valentino’s at Upper Stoney Creek. Please note that bakery is cash only.
