Best Ice Cream in Halifax. My only complaint is I live too close to it and have absolutely no will power. Great selection of flavours and you can order cakes that are completely unique to you and the mixtures you enjoy most.

The employees scooping the ice-cream were not wearing gloves. The debit machine requires you to touch the buttons to enter a tip amount, which would have been fine had they had sanitizer. There wasn't any for both the staff and customers. The debit machine was not sanitized before or after use. This was appauling considering we are still in the middle of a pandemic. I may have just paid $20 for two cones and some covid.

Don’t get the brownies! I’ve had them three or four times now hoping for a good batch but they’re always stale and dried out. Also, don’t forget to ask for sauce as they don’t ask you if you want any and it’s kind of hidden. Other than that no complaints! Love that the waffle cone is included in the price and you get unlimited mix-ins!

I don’t get it, you are open until 10pm. I have been there many many times but today was the second time I went there at 9:45, last time was at 9:40 (can’t go earlier because I work until 9:30) and both times were told that they had turned off the marble freezer and couldn’t mix the items. ????????‍♂️ Even though I said it’s ok if it melts, do you mind mixing them please, she asked the other coworker (supervisor maybe) and she just shook her head for no. If you can’t do what you are known for, why are you open until 10? I have worked in pizza restaurants for many years and we never turned off the oven until the moment we closed, sometimes even later because customers were already in. Hope you guys are happy with 10-15min labour that you are saving from doing this. This was my favourite spot but not anymore.

Great place to go all year round for ice cream in a cone or a bowl. They have a huge selection of extras that you can have mixed in your scoops like berries, candies, chocolate bars, etc. They also do ice cream cakes, ice cream sandwiches (with cookies on either side), sundaes, and other ice cream related things. The cakes are awesome and have replaced DQ as my request for my birthdays. Sorry DQ!

Neglected to grab photos as I was so immersed in choosing my ice cream and toppings. Still! It was great. Staff were very friendly and, I mean, it's ice cream with unlimited toppings - what is there to complain about? I will say that I was pleasantly surprised by the pricing. We got 2 small cones and 1 large chocolate dipped waffle bowl and it was like 24 bucks taxes in. Water was only 1.15 per bottle taxes in, which I was grateful for because many retailers mark up bottled water to 2 bucks or more. Worth a visit!

The portions are really big, and there's no real 'weighing' system here, like other similar ice cream places: you just add until you get what however much you'd like. Higher quality than a typical fast-food ice cream, and worth the price.

I’ve just had a terrible experience after trying their ice cream for the first time. After making my choice of 2 scoops I noticed that most of the toppings were infested with fruit flies. I was disgusted and ended up choosing 2 toppings that had no flies on them, but which otherwise I wouldn’t have selected. And then I realized that toppings and flavours are meant to be “mixed in”… not something I wanted but haven’t been asked. So the resulting mixture has no discernible taste and melts quickly. Perhaps I was just ignorant that this was their usual presentation… but never want something like that ever again. And I’m still sickened with all the fruit flies

Friday night open until 11pm. We entered the store at 8pm to not being able to order a smoothie, and no waffle cones. We got two bowls, even though we prefer cones. And our ice cream was soup at best by the time it was handed to us. The staff didn't give us a chance to use our stamp card/collect stamps either. Very unimpressed and will be choosing elsewhere in the future.

It was our favourite ice cream for a long time. The variety of toppings is great, the price is fair but the last time we went Sept 2021 the ice cream was kept cold enough. It was like a frozen soup right from the start. Look closely at my photos and its like that even in the fridges.

Friendly, patient, and helpful staff. Lots of variety in flavor and amazing amount of topping opens. My particular mint icecream flavor was bery underwhelming in comparison to all the toppings I put in it, would definitely recommend the classic chocolate and vanilla flavours. There is also lactose free options.

Honestly some of the best ice cream out there, my only problem with this place is how slow the service is. There can be over 10 people in queue and waits of over 30mins just, main reason is only one person is serving. There will literally be FOUR People working, and ONE person serving l. I just don’t get it. It does impact customer service and people choice to keep going there I may start opting for Laura second or Newfoundland ice cream even though I prefer them because it’s ridiculous. Lovely ice cream , if you don’t mind waiting then go for it!

I wanted to get some ice cream, but I noticed some customers without face masks on. The server was telling them to wear a mask, but the customers refused. The manager came out and just served the customers anyway! I do not feel comfortable getting ice cream from a place that doesn't stand firm for the mandatory mask laws, and gives into difficult customers. We are still in the middle of a global pandemic, we don't want to make things worse with potential spreading! This is shameful!

Mmmmm...ice cream! Great selection, tons of toppings, great quality. Bright environment. Cozy? Tight inside, bunch of small tables, good for two people on a date. Prices a bit high, but keeps me from buying a whole container at the grocery and eating it all myself. Interesting experience as the staff assemble your order in front of you.

This is my favourite ice cream place in halifax. The ice cream always tastes great and the kids love making up new combos of mix-ins. We also order birthday cakes from here and they are always a hit and taste better than other ice cream cakes.

Hate to leave bad reviews, but only a single worker was wearing a mask! And none of the other patrons. Props the man with the mask, but I went with my grandmother cause I was craving an ice-cream and we had to leave immediately! What help is a mask if a FOOD SERVER is only wearing it on their chin?!

Great ice cream but I ordered a turtle cake and all they put on it was chocolate stripes. I said where is the caramel stripes. Turtle cake has choc and caramel. They were annoyed that I said that and put caramel on for me.. Jeez I was the only one there and they acted like that.......find another job guys.. Ice cream is great but service stinks..

In response to my last reviews response from the owner about not following mandated health codes. Your staff didn't even have hand sanitizer or gloves. I didn't see any staff member washing their hands between customers. The place was well over capacity. You say washing your hands is the best way to stop the spread of the virus?!? Am I then supposed to take my ice cream cone into the bathroom and wash my hands?!?!? You are a food establishment. You require hand sanitizer. At the price you charge for Co es and cheaping out on sani is such a dirty capitalist move that reflects your total ignorance and lack of concern for public health over a few bux.

This place demanding proof of vaccination is them willingly participating in further division while blatantly telling you to stick your freedom of choice and your bodies choice you know where... Hopefully the business suffers greatly and a not so far left freedom supporting establishment opens there instead. I cannot imagine diversity of thought / freedom of speech are tolerated very much at this place either people should proudly go support another ice cream place. Technically within our charter this is illegal and not allowed by law but cleary these people prefer their feelings over facts / law.
